Customer service
Apparently on some of their products they don’t order them until a customer makes a purchase. They went above and beyond to ensure my happiness and maintained communication throughout the process. I highly recommend them and their customer service.
Underwhelming customer support
I recently bought a $2,000 dollar guitar. After the purchase, a sales engineer reached out calling themselves my new go to. So when I was considering between two $7,000 dollar guitars, I reached out for advice. No reply. Eight days later, I followed up. The response was “I thought I replied”. When I asked for actual guidance, the answer was pretty much “It depends on what you like”. Useless.
For a brand that prides itself on expertise and customer service, this is unacceptable. If I’m making a significant purchase, I expect responsiveness, actual advice, and a basic level of professionalism. I’ll buy this guitar somewhere else.

Knowlegeable Staff, Great Customer Service
I’ve worked with Sweewater for five years to select and purchase a keyboard, amplifiers and related equipment. The sales technicians are knowledgeable and understand the needs of customers, many if not most, of whom are working musicians. Transactions are easy and shipping is fast. Without consulting them I recently purchased from their website the wrong small amp for vocal gigs. They agreed to take it back and helped my buy the right one. The price was twenty dollars less than it is on Amazon.

Great company! Always a positive experience with Sweetwater. My sales rep, Colton Smiricky, is fair, helpful and backs me up if there's ever an issue. Shipping is fast and items are double boxed for safety. I've used them for years and will continue to do so.

Wonderful Customer Service
I recently bought an audio interface after doing a lot of research I thought I was sure I bought the one that was right for me as a beginner/entry level product. I used it for about a week or so and then discovered some more uses I had that this model couldn't support because I got the entry level one. So I reached out to Maxwell, my sales associate, to see if I could upgrade to the "plus" model which has MIDI and 2 more 1/4" outputs and he said of course. They even cross shipped the item and even honored a price adjustment 1 day after the item went on sale for $50 less! What a great experience and why I tend to buy music equipment at Sweetwater when possible.
CRACKED GIBSON- WHAT IN THE HECK!
I purchased a Gibson Southern Jumbo guitar. They stated it was an demo. Well after the $3000 purchase i got high res pictures sent to me, and the guitar was cracked before being shipped to me. i guess the only good thing is they were able to process my refund quickly and have FedEx shhip it back to them. But that was about it. How is it you spend $3000 on a guitar and it ok to send out cracked. It wasnt a small crack either. it was about 6''
Outstanding experience
The customer service staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Their kind assistance enabled me to purchase a new turntable to use with my older high end system. The sound quality with my pristine classical recordings is amazing! Sweetwater came highly recommended to me and they certainly lived up to the recommendation.

I ordered a guitar and a separate hard case. I was. Wry wary of ordering online assuming something would get messed up or damaged. The guitar arrived beautifully packed and 24 hours after I ordered it and the case followed a few days later. A company spokesperson (Benjamin) called the day I ordered it to answer questions and followed up with a personal email. The service was incredible and when the case didn’t arrive on the second day Benjamin was emailing me on a Sunday. This kind of service is really unusual these days.

Barry is amazing, calls me on the phone to check-up and make sure everything is OK with my order even if it's a cable I ordered. Purchased a Laney lfSuper 60 1x12 and am extremely pleased with it. More importantly, Sweetwater has never disappointed with their customer service and sales engineers' advice. What's better than a Helix? Customer service!
Enough has been written about the Helix. It is a top-notch tool. I'm a photographer and it reminds me of Photoshop, an all-encompassing, highly sophisticated and powerful image editing software program. And like Photoshop, the Helix offers ultimate control of so many parameters, if there's a problem with your sound, it's you, not this thing. What could be better? I'm glad you asked. I must add my voice to the chorus that praises Sweetwater's customer service. In the interest of brevity, I'll spare you the details, but for a minute, I was in danger of falling through the cracks with a warranty repair issue until my brand new Sales Engineer swooped in and almost instantly did more than solve my problem with a level of service I might expect if I were a high profile artist, influencer or big dollar account, and even though I'm none of those things, I just got treated like one by Caleb Priest at Sweetwater.
