The lessons themselves are ok although the lanes are incredibly congested with at least 6 kids + 3 instructors in one lane at the Highbury pool so people are always bumping into each other. The lessons are very expensive and progress is slow - don't expect your child to be swimming within a term or so. I read one review from a parent whose children had been with Swimming Nature for 7 years! They must have very deep pockets! I had an awful time with the admin side of the company, changing a regular time slot that I'd booked weeks before (and instead suggesting totally impractical times when my son was at school). It's impossible to speak to the same person twice and the online booking system is a mess. We had a couple of changes of instructor and one lesson cancelled, and re-booking the cancelled lesson was a fiasco. My son has had weekly lessons for 5 months and still can't swim so I really can't say the large amount of money has been well spent. The instructors themselves are good and child-focused, but the company leaves a lot to be desired.

Joseph is so great with our girls, they always look forward to his lessons, which are both fun and great training. Wonderful

I have 2 kids having 2-1 swimming lessons. We are very happy with the experience of our 6yo and totally disappointed with the experience of our 4yo. The teacher is too often unwell and we have a teacher replacement every other week. Needless to say my daughter is not happy to meet a new teacher every other week and doesn’t progress as she should. This is not the service I paid for and won’t be re-booking.

The best swimming lessons I have seen so far! (and I have tried 2 different places) The progress is visible just after 4 sessions. The teachers are very friendly and calm. I cannot thank them enough for being so patient with my son. He loves so much going to the swimming lessons.

Entirely inflexible service. They are forever closing the Muswell Hill pool and will not refund the money to parents when you ask for it. I have had countless calls with members of staff who say 'there is nothing I can do its the policy' which is ludicrous as there is everything they can do, ie they can refund the money straight back into our accounts as is easy as it was to take the money. The organisation is avoidant and extremely badly organised I cannot wait to leave and cross with myself I got sucked in to paying upfront for the year. My advice, don't do it.

Our daughters have been swimming here for several years. One has always had Joseph who is an incredible teacher, strict in the right way, fun and incredibly motivating. Enrico more recently started teaching our other daughter and is equally brilliant! We have had a great experience at the Streatham branch, their focus on safety and technique is very impressive and the girls are developing so well!

My daughter has been having lessons with this company for several years and her progress has been brilliant, especially with Joseph in Streatham. He has developed her technique and confidence beautifully, she loves going to her lessons which speaks for itself. He is structured, clear, disciplined but also fun and understands how to motivate children. Highly recommended.
The only downside has been the Fitness First pool breaking down sometimes and lessons being missed due to this, however they are credited back.

My daughter has been with swimming nature (Streatham)since she was 2.5yo. She has been with Joseph when she was 3 and never had any other teacher since then even now that she's 10. Having Joseph as her teacher only shows the great rapport/relationship as a teacher-student they have built with each other for 7 years. Joseph is strict but in a good way. He teaches the children to be disciplined in and out of the pool.He teaches values and respect that you don't see in other teachers, and that's the reason I entrust my daughter to his care, not just to teach her how to swim but to teach her good values and attitude which I really appreciate. Joseph is very concise and structured in every lesson. He would also expand his knowledge towards his other colleagues. He would let the children work hard but he also has fun with them and that's why my daughter has a good relationship with him.

We are extremely pleased with our swimming instructor, Joseph. Our son began swimming with Joseph about three years ago, despite being scared of the water even after numerous previous lessons. After just a few sessions with Joseph, his confidence and abilities was transformed.
We are very impressed with my son's progress. His technique and skills have significantly improved and he is now confident in all swimming styles. Joseph's teaching is incredible.He employs a variety of advances techniques and effective methods tailoring to each student's needs and makes learning both efficient and enjoyable. He is helpful and friendly. We highly recommend him.

My son has been attending his swimming lessons with Joseph for 5 years now. He absolutely loves Joe! He is attentive and friendly, yet he pushes him to do his very best to achieve the best technique possible. Joseph is very approachable and always gives us honest feedback, We couldn't have asked for a better teacher!

Joseph is an amazing teacher. He focuses on the kids technique and then allows them to have some fun at the end of the session. My daughter would have a laugh with him and also listened to his instructions. Only down side is that the pool at Streatham Fitness First would go through periods of having problems which would mean lessons were cancelled but Swimnature give credits which can be used off the next term booking or holiday camps.

Despite issues with the pool at the Fitness First in Streatham (beyond Swimming Natures control) both my sons have had lessons there since 2017 and I cannot speak highly enough of Joseph! He is patient and knowledgeable and both my boys rave about him. Progress has been rapid and despite the high cost, I believe it totally worth the it, to have children not only highly confident in the water but also highly proficient swimmers from an early age. Thank you Joseph!

I worked side to side with Joe at Swimming Nature in Streatham Venue for 3 years, he is an amazing teacher and the kids loves him. With High standards and techniques he introduces experience and expertise for the little ones as a few teachers does. I saw the kids swimming with him since very beginning until developing all four strokes with passion and commitment. Joe is also a lovely person, treating everyone with respect and gratitude. It was a pleasure share the pool with you Joseph.

We probably have one the best tutors in the Uk. Joseph is making my daughter enjoy swimming like no other teacher did in the past.

My son started swimming since 2018, it was a challenge, then Joseph took him in in 2019 and everything changed. My son is dyslexic and dyspraxic and Joseph took it upon himself to understand how to change his teaching to support my son. It’s 2024 and my son is an amazing swimming(not yet onlymoic atabdrad) but as a parent, it’s always a proud moment and it was all down to Joseph. THANK YOU.
Now with regards to swim nature, not impressed, more like disappointed. I always feel they are more interested in collecting my
Money than ensuring the focus in providing proper customer services. I have stayed because of Joseph, if not I would have moved on. Thank you Joseph, seriously, you have and always make a difference. I hope swim nature appreciates what you have done and keep doing.

I am very grateful for Joseph, I started the lessons with absolutely no experience of swimming and terrified of being in the pool on my own.
Joseph stayed by my side and made sure I was comfortable in the water.

Joseph taught my son for years and was absolutely amazing, he got him to such a brilliant level of swimming, we were SO impressed- and now he teaches our daughter every week. He is such a wonderful teacher, both my kids adore him and they always look forwards to their lessons. He is so much fun too- they have a real laugh together. Joseph is an EXCELLENT teacher and I would (and have) recommend him to anyone.
