Advisor Very DIfficult to Understand
The online form to obtain a quote was fine and I was happy with the price offered, so I went through the payment process, but when it came to verification, I was unable to get my Mastercard app on my phone while being on my phone to Swinton. So I rang your helpline and the woman with whom I was dealing was really difficult to understand. Yes, she spoke English but with a strong foreign accent and she insisted on laboriously going over all the details that I had already completed online. It was painfully slow and very frustrating.

I wanted to clarify that when applying for an insurance policy, it is standard practice for insurance companies to check the CUE database to access any claims history. CUE is a central database that holds information on all insurance claims and incident reports made by policyholders. If the information disclosed does not match what the database confirms, we ask for you to contact us to discuss this in more detail. When updating the information to match the CUE database, this can affect the premium you were originally quoted. Fantastic. I already insure with them but they were very helpful when I had to cancel a new policy. Very understanding and kept their promise so will be organising a new car that we’ve just bought but not collected yet instead of our usual car insurers as they can’t be beaten with service & price

Average experience but I could speak to someone which was a plus
The first car policy had to be cancelled or pay £54 over for an oversight of 20 days , the second had to be reviewed because of the insurance industry. So not going to sing your praises

Swinton has been great over the years its technology that's lets the old customer service down
Mostly went ok .. im not very techy so it always worries me when doing new stuff on a computer /phone especially anything involving putting in card details ... it was relatively easy till the end then it timed out and wasn't sure if it had gone through or not
