Extremely Convenient and Reliable Smart Lock
I’ve been using the SwitchBot Lock Pro for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly convenient in everyday use: unlocking and locking the door is fast, smooth, and completely hassle-free. The device is also very reliable; nothing breaks, nothing glitches, and everything works exactly as it should.
If you want a smart lock that you can install easily and then forget about because it just works, the SwitchBot Lock Pro is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
Switchbot Curtain
Have been using the Switchbot curtain for a few weeks now and have been very satisfied. Were very easy to setup and work very well
Great devices
Switchbot devices are really impressive. They are either the same price or a little cheaper than their competitors, but their app, their durability and versatility is what makes them stand out in my view. I have a switchbot, a hub mini, 3 outdoor meters so far. All work as I'd expect them to. The outdoor meters allow me to check temperature and humidity (amongst other things) in particular rooms and then at the moment notify me when it's beyond a certain level. In the future I will get one of their relays that will allow me to control the extractor fans.
Overall, seems like a good company, who are keen to grow and diversify their products in the automation marker.
Switchbot Curtains and Hub Mini
Fantastic products. I've had curtains for four years and the hub mini for about a year.
All hooked up to my Google assistant and automation to open and close work without fail.
I thoroughly recommend their products.
Quality and reliability at a great price
I've had multiple items from switch bot over the years and have always been impressed with the quality and reliability, especially for the very reasonable prices. I've used a switch bot to operate a light switch that I couldn't change to a smart light in a rental. I use the temperature and humidity sensors in multiple rooms. I've had the original lock for 4 years or so and have only just upgraded to the pro. I highly recommend anything from switch bot!

Floor washing in particular is surprised at how well it washes away even dried-on dirt.

Curtain 3 actuators
I bought 2No. Switchbot curtain 3s. Shortly after installation one of the control magnets fell off the rail despite me following the fitting instructions.
I am in the UK but the nearest supply point is Hong Kong. The magnet is a little bit larger than a garden pea and they want to charge £35 to post to the UK. There is no warranty as I purchased through a supplier in the UK. The supplier doesn't have spare parts.
I have had a number of communications with them showing a reluctant to help.
Apart for the magnets, the items seem OK but have only operated about 4 weeks. Time will tell!
Only buy their products if you live in Hong Kong and you have to buy direct to get any warranty.
Switchbot Temperature Sensors
I started with a single CO2/temperature sensor which worked well, with lots of useful information in the app. I then upgraded to add more temperature sensors, used indoors and outdoors, all connected to a mini hub. The app is very well laid out with easy access to historical information, and I've also got it connected to Home Assistance to see the information integrated with my other sensors.

We are using the sensors to monitor humidity in the crawl space under our house, in the attic, the garage, outside and inside the living space. It's much easier to check these on the app rather than maintain a separate display device which would take up table or wall space.
Don't buy the K10+ Pro Combo
I really like the K10+ Pro vacuum. However I bought the Combo version as well, and the handheld was not good for various reasons (badly designed, including not ergonomic, and slots in at the back and scrapes the wall), faulty attachment (the brush doesn't stay down), and a connection issue (so it wouldn't empty on its own reliably, only with the robot).
I reported some of these issues in the first 30 days, but they refused to give me a refund after 6 weeks. They wanted to replace it. But it's badly designed (and the fault with the attachment is also likely to be a design issue; the lock just isn't strong enough), so why would I want another? I bought another K10+ Pro in the meantime to replace it instead.
After some arguing (and me saying I was going to submit a Paypal case) they agreed to refund it if I sent it back (to Germany!).
They sent me a document which was supposedly the shipping label (though it didn't look like one, and it was labelled Invoice, and there were three identical copies of it in the PDF). But I put it on the box.
The next day they sent me what was actually the shipping label, so I put that over the top of the invoice. At no time did they tell me both documents needed to be displayed; there were no instructions about how to send it (or what you were supposed to do with each of the three copies!).
I had to take it to a UPS collection point. So I strapped it onto my sack truck, and wheeled it almost a mile to the UPS point. They said they don't do drop-offs (even though the UPS website says they do).
So I wheeled it to the next UPS point. Which did take it, but they also said they might have to contact me if the courier refused to take it, as it was over 10 kg (which nobody said would be an issue).
It went, apparently successfully. But then it was returned to me because there was no invoice on it (even though it was on there, just not visible).
Eventually they said I could just keep or dispose of it rather than trying to send it back again (as I insisted on them arranging a UPS collection this time, and giving me full instructions for sending it).
So I gave it away, and awaited my refund. Which still has not been actioned. They owe me hundreds of pounds (never mind the time, effort, and stress I have put into this), and this has been going on since July, when I bought it.
In summary, the K10+ Pro is good, the Combo is bad, and their customer service is terrible.

From the start I wasn’t sure if the Curtain Bot 3 would fit my curtain tracks. It was super easy to get in touch with Switchbot’s customer service over live chat and the service rep quickly confirmed that the Curtain Bot would indeed work with my tracks.
Placing an order was seamless and shipping was right on time.
Now after using the Curtain Bot for a year I’m still super pleased with it. The battery lasts a really long time and it just works perfectly. The morning automation is my favourite feature! Having it slowly open my curtains and wake me up with natural light is so satisfying. You can’t even hear it because of how quiet the little motor is!
SwitchBot are truly innovative with their products their service is amazing and their devices are incredibly valuable!

Received switchbot s10 vacuum mop, none working out of the box, support phone number is not working,
Only email that they answer after 2-3 days, they make you send the unit and wait until they get it, a month later I still don't have any vacuum and now not answering emails, horrible company
2 x Switch bot water leak alarms
Brought 2 x water leak alarms for my condenser which pumps water out after being discharged from my dehumidifier.
I placed one very near the condenser & the other at the bottom of dehumidifier.
I tried both the devices & both work perfectly picking up a slight bit of water. They let out a loud audible sound & I receive a notification on the switch bot app as well as Alexa echo show.
I was considering buying two more water leak detectors for my attick dehumidifier as you never know when the condenser might break down.
The great thing about these detectors is that they sound an audible when battery is low & the switch bot app shows if your devices are not online for instance due to Internet outage.
Despite Internet outage the devices still ring an audible alarm.
I have my echo show set up to detect alarms also ; so doubly secure.
I would highly recommend the switch-bot waterleak alarms for external condensate units running along side dehumidifiers.
Switchbot = great
I'm very happy with these Switchbot products. They are priced reasonably. They just work, and they continue to work. Amazing stuff.
Good compromise at low price
Hello everyone, I’d like to share my experience with SwitchBot products.
At the moment I own several motion sensors, temperature sensors (both the basic and pro versions), and multiple locks (Lock Pro, Pro Matter, and Ultra).
Long story short: overall, I’d rate the ecosystem around a 7/10 in my book. Some products really need to be used in the right context — for example, the motion sensor works best in areas where it can “see” you from a distance, giving it enough time to trigger. Otherwise, since it relies on the cloud, there’s a delay of a couple of seconds, which makes it less useful.
The Lock Pro has given me several issues — which I’ve tried to sort out with the excellent customer service. In my opinion, most of the problems come from a somewhat immature management software.
The Lock Pro Matter doesn’t really change that much, since it’s basically the same thing.
The Ultra, on the other hand, is performing well so far. It’s not perfect, but where the Pro felt overall like an insecure product to me (4/10), the Ultra so far feels like a solid 7.5/10.
Unfortunately, I bought several Pro units hoping they’d work flawlessly… but nope.
The temperature sensors I’m currently using just for data collection, but soon I’ll integrate them into my Home Assistant automations — so we’ll see how that goes.
Overall, I appreciate the company’s approach: they stay close to their users and are genuinely willing to improve things.
As a user, I think if there were stricter quality checks before release, both customer satisfaction and the need for refunds or complaints could improve significantly. That said, I like the company, and I find their products good for their price range.
