Don’t be a wally like me and buy a car from here! Bristol depot is absolute S**T show, 10 days to prep the car to only get told the boot was still not working while on the way, we gained a crack in the windscreen from them driving it to the M.o.t station, which if not spotted they wasn’t going to say anything. Booked in the car in for repair following week windscreen done still boot not working, next day booked in still can’t repair the boot! Absolute disaster, if you think it won’t happy to you, THINK AGAIN.

We had been looking for a Mercedes for over a year and decided that although more expensive, to go to the main dealership, as we believed we would ultimately receive the most professional service, we we’re proved wrong from our first meeting. After purchasing our car from the Swindon branch, which in itself was a poor experience, after being told our car would be prepared to Mercedes standards, the bonnet was scratched, the chrome stained, the car was poorly cleaned inside, and we were told that the brake’s although worn were perfectly fine. We then went back to view after believing all these things were done, to find that they had not, and as the car was not Mercedes approved due to it missing only one Mercedes service there was no money in the car to present the car to the normal standard. After lengthy conversations, the bonnet was repaired and the car cleaned, but again we were told the breaks were fine. To ensure we maintained the car, we purchased insurances to protect the paintwork, wheels and lengthen the warrantee by 2yrs, adding an extra £2000, to the overall price of the car, but ultimately giving us peace of mind. Within 3mths, and less than 1000 miles, the brakes were screeching, so as Cribbs Causeway was closer to home, we took the car to them, within the 3mth warranty, following some heated negotiations, they eventually agreed to replace the brakes, the stop start had never worked, so this was sorted, and glow plugs replaced. On this occasion, although unhappy with the service we received from the Swindon branch and their 150 point check, we were happy to finally get the car we had paid for. We also had cause to use the bumper cover insurance following a stone chip on the bonnet of the car, my only advice to this, is do not purchase this! we could have done the same repair with a sharpie, when I contacted them to say I was extremely dissatisfied, I was told that’s how they repair a bonnet and I had agreed to it, so waste of that moneys worth of insurance!
We then decided due to the warranty having very clearly stated, that for a service it would either need to be at a dealership or an approved service provider, to discuss the possibility of a service plan, an affordable option of monthly payments for mot’s and services. In itself, great way to spread the cost of £1000. Due to our previous experiences with Mercedes, we were of course cautious, so despite trying unsuccessfully numerous time to call, leaving messages we never had a call back so went to the dealership at cribbs, to discuss in person.
We spoke to a very informative, lovely young lady who talked us through our options telling us very clearly, we wouldn’t need to pay anything up front, the cost would be spread over 2 years, and included not only this years mot and service, but next years. Again just because of previous experience, we’re wanted to discuss at home, but ultimately decided as the plan came with a hire car, it was a no brainer. So back to Cribbs Causeway we went, unfortunately the young lady we had previously spoken to wasn’t working, but a young lady who I believe was training with the previous young lady, again stepped us through the same options giving us exactly the same information, no upfront payment, 2 years service and mot, hire car, £40 per mth.
Perfect, book us in, she filled in all the form using an iPad, name address, bank details ect, off we go happy that it was all sorted.
Leading up to the date the car was booked in we received a call from our son who has the same first initial as myself, and obviously the same surname, to say Mercedes had contacted him about the service and mot he was booked in for, and sent him an email reminder? Although he owns a Mercedes, this was not purchased from a dealer, nor had it ever been to a dealership for a service or mot, panicking I immediately called Cribbs as the mot was due to expire the very next day, they apologised, but had no idea how his name, phone number and email was linked to a car he had never owned, we questioned is this a GDPR issue? Our son’s name randomly added to our account. But they assured us the car was booked in.
So We took the car in on the date given, to be handed a bill for £950, we explained we had taken out a service care plan, to be told, sorry you haven’t you will need to pay for this upfront as no care plan could be found! We queried, where our are details, including bank account details? Should we be concerned?
Our only option at this point was to either pay, or take out a 3yr plan at £60, or pay upfront, I expressed my disappointment again feeling very let down, but as the mot was due to expire within hours left with little choice and hoping there wasn’t any major issues with the car as the cost was going up and up.
I received a call at 2pm, to let me know we could collect the car after 4pm, as it was being cleaned, not the case.

Sytner Bristol are impossible to contact by telephone. The staff in the garage are all very friendly and helpful but trying to book an appointment or get a question answered when you are not on the premises is IMPOSSIBLE.

I bought my Range Rover Sport from Sytner in Bristol & regularly serviced it with them. Last week the passenger airbag warning light came on intermittently also the Eco-stop/start function stopped re-starting leaving me stranded at traffic lights.
I called into Bristol Sytner around 3pm as the handbook said the airbag warning light needed urgent attention. Reception were helpful & took me to the waiting area to speak to a mechanic. A scruffy woman in an ill-fitting blue suit came to speak to me but did not address me by name. She had a dismissive attitude & stated my car was not on their system & my personal number plate was unknown. There was no one available to help me! I stated I bought my car & had it regularly serviced with this very company. I stated I had 5 previous Range Rovers over the past 25+ years & my personal number plate was always transferred to each one. I had been a customer for many years. She replied all the mechanics were busy on "important" jobs. When I stressed the possible danger of the warning light she replied the earliest I could book my car to be seen was late August (3 months away). I asked if I could quickly speak to a mechanic familiar with common RR problems as I was concerned they might be dangerous. She refused saying she was not a mechanic!
I was surprised since on previous occasions when I had a problem I had always been treated courteously and a mechanic - even the service manager had sometimes come out to speak to me. I stressed that someone familiar with these cars would know the significance of my problems and reassure me. She shrugged and said that's all she could (would) offer.
I said I would find help elsewhere! The customer service was appalling.

Actually 0 star for this car dealership. We bought a car 2023, poor communication to start with, false promises and bad customer service. There’s a car warning fault appears after 5 mos of having it, done a few repairs but fault remains the same until now while im doing this review. Contacted several times, spoke to so many customer service agent, been promised that somebody will get back to me but no one responded as yet. Took a loan to pay for this vehicle but all we got are hassle, stress, wasted time and money for bringing back and forth in different garage to solve the problem but failed.
Dont know if we are just one of the unlucky customer but the only thing we wanted is a proper solution and straight forward answer of what we will do about this faulty vehicle and unsatisfactory quality used car.

I had my car repaired in this garage last year after a break down while visiting Bristol, It needed MOT at that time , I have a service plan that covers the MOT , but the company charged me MOT charges despite informing them that I have a service plan that covers MOT , but the company did not agree to the information and charged me incorrectly. Also sent the car with flat battery which needed to be changed after 2 weeks , the primary problem with my car at that point was the battery that needed to be changed but they simply charged it enough that only lasted 2 weeks !
Car registration no.

Today , I have had a reply from the company , which I changed but later on found that these are the same company on trust pilot , therefore my review stands as correct as I am posting my review for Sytner Jaguar Land rover Bristol , where I was incorrectly charged

Do not buy an Mercedes A35 with registration WM19 FTT from this dealership. They removed as aftermarket body kit fitted to rhe vehicle on the basis it would be put back to factory settings. They have removed the body kit and left holes throughout the body work.
Terrible service and didn't care about the vehicle and will still be sold with holes in it.
