I give 1 star because i cant give a 0

I give 1 star because i cant give a 0. Aparently you need a dutch identity card in order to get a phone. I live in the Netherlands for longer than 10 years and i bought a house in amsterdam. Despite all this i am not allowed to buy a new phone because im not dutch. I was mesmerized by this level of racism!

A REAL NIGHTMARE!!!!!!

This company has been a real life nightmare for me and my partner. We have an issue with them since last SEPTEMBER. 9 MONTHS of phone calls, e-mails and absolutely draining our mental health and it has not yet been resolved. They sent us the wrong modem and then the right one and since then have been charging us for both subscriptions and month payment. We had to call at least 20 times untill they reimbursed 650 euros for the "old" cubscription and now they are sending letters threatening us to send a debt collector and giving us higher and higher fines. After the last attempt to solve the situation they still want us to pay for the subscription of a service WE NEVER HAD. If I could back in time and talk to my self I'd scream DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Absolutely horrible and inefficient customer service and will cost you so much stress and possibly tears too. DO NOT CHOSE T-MOBILE!

Very bad experience with T-Mobile

Very bad experience with T-Mobile. I recently arrived to the country and I need (still) a mobile phone number to conclude the rest of the procedures such as a health insurance.

Due to the bad support from the Dutch banks (similar service with T-Mobile), I had to stick to my previous EU bank account to get paid from work, pay my rent etc. I tried to apply for a yearly contract with T-Mobile but their website prompted me to go to a store as I had a foreign/EU IBAN. I went to two stores. The one told me that their platform doesn't allow them to do that. The person at the store showed me that they were using the same platform that I tried to use! Why does the system prompts us to go to a store then? So, I went to another store, where they told me that I had to be six months in the country, in order for them to use my payslips as a proof of my income!

By the way, at the stores they would ask me if I had booked an appointment, even though there were 2-3 employees doing nothing and joking with each other. And guys, how am I supposed to book an appointment? Your Dutch language... website doesn't provide a system where I can book an appointment and your stores are not properly dispersed throughout the city of Amsterdam. Therefore, I can't waste my time going through them to book an appointment.

Further on... I returned back home and contacted my bank, which told me that it is forbidden from the EU legislation not to accept a SEPA IBAN in the SEPA region and that this is called "IBAN Discrimination".

Later, I contacted the online customer support chat of T-Mobile. This time they told me that they don't accept foreign IBANs, even the EU ones (!), because people from a country with expensive contracts would be buying contracts from Dutch mobile providers! What a nonsense excuse. I reminded them that what they say is illegal and forbidden by the EU legislation. Their reply-suggestion this time was to open a Dutch bank account, make the application and then change the bill's payment method to my other IBAN. That is exactly one of the hurdles that the EU tried to lift, but T-Mobile doesn't seem to care about that.

Once again I applied for a Dutch bank account, despite the fact that once again everything was in a language that I don't speak. But I need to sort out my health insurance. This time I was luckier and I received the card. I applied to T-Mobile and I was supposed to receive my sim card four days ago. The parcel service sent me an email that they finally wouldn't come and that they would contact me later. Two days after that and they didn't. Today, four days later I contacted T-Mobile's customer service and they tried to resolve it. I received a message from their courier partner telling me that they can't reach me (they are the only ones to say so today. I don't believe them)... so I had to give them a call to arrange for the delivery of my package! Seriously?

Anyway, I did but things would have been better if they answered their phone. I waited five minutes on the line and when it opened they didn't reply! So, I sent them an email asking for their kind help, as I'm new to the country, I don't have a local phone number as they have it in their hands. The next email I received was that they sent the parcel back and they cancelled the contract!!!! Are you serious?

Once again, I contacted the customer service to resolve the problem and they asked me to reapply and then go to a store, even though the geographical dispersion of T-Mobile's stores in Amsterdam is nonsense.

It looks like the company is out of ideas and willingness to improve their processes. The management should have been able to resolve such issues. What a disgrace.

Unacceptable customer service

Unacceptable customer service.

I recently went to the Tmobile Eindhoven Demer branch in the city center. I wanted to have a business contract. The guy who dealt with it convinced me to go for an internet tv package and eventually forgot to switch my mobile contract to a business contract. I did not check the contract as I trusted that guy. The main purpose of the appointment was for my business contract. I am shocked to see that it was not the case. The customer service in this company is the worst in the Netherlands. Totally unacceptable attitude. I recommend everyone to avoid this company.

Changing address / moving

We moved and wanted internet at the new address. First they cut off connection 5 days before there was a connection at the new address. Then when the guy came to connect it the package we had received showed to be incomplete. Of course the guy didn't have any spare parts in the van so he left. Meaning another day without internet. Not only that we had to contact t-mobile ourselves to reschedule. All with all a very poor experience.

T mobile is a top cheater company. Whenever need help from them they never cooperate. They just keep giving excuses.
Last two months I faced too much problems from them. They offered me a voucher for the period of my internet wasn't working but for that I would have to buy a Sim subscription from them. Means for getting a free voucher we have to stuck in a every month subscription.
Their every staff give different information.

customer care is nonexistent.

You can subscribe a contract and pay, this is the easy part.

Once you do, you will be stuck forever:
- Help via insulting robot chat in a broken loop, or:
- Utterly useless tech support, or:
- The alternative, the community page, refuses the login that does work to login to my page, and the password reset option never sent any email to reset the password.

So essentially I am stuck with a connection with wide open security hole where the modem exposes the admin page over wan as a default setting.

Completely ret4rded for this to be a default setting, and even more infuriating not to be able to contact anybody whatsoever about the issue.

[UPDATE Apr 2023]
terrible company.
Impossible to contact them to get any advice, even when I want to purchase a new phone. I have fiber internet for 3 years with them, mobile phone still with Vodafone because they want a Dutch issued proof of residence to get a phone subscription. They claim it is law.
Back to Vodafone, Just renewed my 2 years contract there and ordered a new iPhone. Done online , in 5 minutes. T-mobile is not even able to be contacted to even buy a new phone plan.. I wonder how it goes if you ever need after sales service.
Will see in 2 more years once vodafone plan expire if they finally start evolving (hint - they will not!)

Horrible internet provider with no sign of help from T-mobile

This is the worst internet provider I have subscribed with. I have lived in NL for 5 years and been with 2 major providers. This month, I decided to change my internet to a superfast internet and I chose T-mobile. I work from home. Hence, my decision to change to a fast internet. This month is my first month with t-mobile and i have all kinds of issue. I was left with 7days without internet. T-mobile is clueless on what was going on. They blame KPN for not doing the job because they said KPN is the owner of the connection in my street. I had to call KPN too for this and they said they have changed the port in the central connector and has closed the case. The issue is coming from Tmobile configuration setting (whatever that means). We paid more for a fast internet and better service but is left with no internet at all. I ask them for a help on what can I do now to have internet because I have to use it for work! and they said they can give me a voucher using mobile internet but I have to buy their simcard?? holyshit. So i have to spend money because Tmobile messed up? This is like telling them to stab me on the neck after you stab me in my heart. I am in calls for hours with T-mobile and had to wait and wait and wait and listen to the horrible music in the customer service line. Do not use this provider! they are horrible. Taking our money for free.

T-Mobile Lies, and lies and lies.

T-Mobile Lies, Cheats and Steals.
They are the worst for lying and cheating us consumers. I wasted over 2 hours of my time trying to close my accounts due to their pathetic services. 11 agents, 9 hung up on me, 1 put in on forever hold and the last told me that I had to talk to a Supervisor to cancel my accounts yet they were all busy and would call me back. Sure like the other 20 times they said that and no callback. So it has been several days that they have yet to call me back so I can cancel my accounts. I have reported them to several consumer agencies including the FTC, CPUC, California State Attorney, and all other ones I find.

Take my advice and go to another provider

I have been customer at T-mobile for a long time and in the stores they are cool and helpful but during this pandemic they have completely lost their way of handling issues. It seriously couldn't get worse based on what I have experienced. I would advice you to look into other providers because I have spent hours and hours trying to resolve faults from their side in the period which I changed my contract from private to business with a new phone.

Customer service call is at all times are extremely long all day (Like 15-30 mins waiting). Details on invoice were wrong. I asked for a new invoice for three times by now and still haven't received yet. I paid my phone via Ideal and had to pay again by pin at the delivery company (So I paid 750 euros twice) and they said it would take them up to 10 working days to refund (Now it's 14 days later and I haven't got my money back). Oh yeah and before this mess started I had to wait 10 days to change my contract from private to business.

It costed me approximately 8 hours of calling/waiting/mailing over a period of 1 full month and things aren't sorted yet... Extremely disappointed. Stay away...

I've been using T-mobile for almost 9…

I've been using T-mobile for almost 9 years and I've never experienced problems with them untill now. I am talking about their mobile services. Their home internet is a different story....... but back to the issue. I decided to prolong my contract with them and enjoy a new iPhone. I ordered the phone, but when arrived I notice that it is huge and I can barely hold it in my hand, what about operating with it. I decided to return it back and then the drama began... It took them more than 2 working days as they stated in the email to just look at 2 pages and send me a return label. Not only this, I had to call the customer service more than 2 times to ask them for the label. The guys and gals were very nice though. They told me that my request hadn't reached them and I have to wait another 48 hours. Finally I received the label and in the paper was stated that I have to return it in 5 days...... Come on! It's snowing outside, the rest of the companies give extra time, but no, they are obviously special! Aaaand I have to pay for the return - € 7. Seven!!!
I have just sent it back, so how the issue is going to be solved, I still do not know, but I decided to buy a "losse" phone and not being their customer anymore. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if there was no corona and I could go to the shop and pick up a phone there, but...
Shall I begin about the internet? Let's say I regret leaving Ziggo.

T mobile robs people ATTENTION !!!!

I start with t mobile in 2019. Start from a perdiod 3 weeks without internet connecion. Foult on their side. By phone someone told me i dont must to pay for this period. After 1,5 month coming bill with extra money to pay as a penalty for to be late. On internet page they wrote than incasso datum is starting datum, but first herrinenring what should come via sms should come after 14 days. Its not . Its comming after next day when they cant incass. So example 22 od month from this moment they start to count you with penalty also next month and same incasso few times. I pay them in 6 months 600 euro and no one can explain. I send letters they not answer!!!! they normally rob people on a white day and when you call them for explanations they talk with contempt because you don't pay. Every week I get a text message that I have to pay even though I pay! I'm going to a lawyer for damages, analyze your bills because they cheat. Penalty calculations are incorrect. A gang of psychopaths robbing people !!!!

Horrible service

If you are up to have no internet for days and no alternative solution, this is the perfect company for you.
I have a contract for 3 months now, this is the second time I spent 1 week with no internet.
Absurd queues to get in touch with customer support. In a luck day, it may take up to 20 minutes.
Lastly, I wish you will never need technical support to come to your home. The odds that you will have to wait at least 2 weeks is quite high!
