T4mation supplied and fitted a side elevating roof to my Vw T4, and the finishing product was perfect

I can't express how professional the work looks, and how the company was ready to answer any questions that I had, regardless of how trivial they were.

I will not hesitate to recommend the company to family and friends.

Beautifully made product which fits perfectly. Slight issue on the courier (DPD) which the seller addressed. Seller also replies very quickly to queries and gives helpful advice. Will buy from T4nation again.

Items as described. When we thought a bracket was missing, Stephen responded to my email promptly and politely and the matter was sorted. Partner never checked box properly and it was there all along. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them. Thank you Stephen.

Product arrived in good time but with parts missing. After several communications with the company and promises of sending the parts out they never arrived. I had to make the door lock catches myself. The pre-cut hole for the sink and cooker wasn’t correct and had to be modified. This together left the van unusable for a time as the doors and drawer couldn’t be secured. Just a terrible company and I would not recommend. And as other reviews have stated the instruction video was poor at best.

Since writing this review I have now received the required parts.

We were still waiting for replacement parts 5 months after our initial order. Originally ordered for a T4 van by mistake but the owner said this wasn’t a problem and could easily sell on to another customer and was happy to remake for the T5. Finally sent out the order and, upon arrival, we unboxed immediately. Sent with the wrong trim. No instructions were provided. Tried to contact the company but no one was available to take our call. The following Monday he informed us by email reply email to follow a YouTube video. The video was for a T4 van but was a similar set up to what we ordered so we did our best to follow. Unfortunately, the flat pack is not labelled. None of the screws were labelled and, the screws used in the video were not the same as any that we had been provided. Also, in addition to this, the entire video has every section labelled as, making the draw’ and, use AAA screws for this!
As none of our screws etc. were labelled and none looked the same as what were being used in the video this wasn’t at all helpful. In fact, it was practically impossible to follow.
The hinges supplied had screws already installed in them. In using these screws this damaged the unit as they were too big. On speaking to the seller he advised we should have used other screws. We asked, ‘how would we have known this, given there were no instructions provided and nothing was labelled?’, his reply, ‘ you could’ve asked’. Really, really useful after the event and being given no prior advice that the flat pack would arrive with no instructions and that we were supposed to call him every time we had a question about which screw to use for each part of the build even when the screws are already in the hinges ready to use! As it turns out he was in fact gaslighting us and the error was with his design and not our assembly.
The seller advised he would replace the wardrobe wall and door and the drawer front as the holes were not big enough and he understood that it was an easy mistake to have made given that no instructions were provided and wanted to help by sending out replacement parts. We also agreed, if he was going to do this we would not expect him to send the replacement trim in exchange for his helping us. He was promising this for 5 months! We never received anything except his constant lies.
My £1700.00 order, which was sent with the incorrect trim in the first instance and this still hasn’t been rectified and no instructions, was still flat, awaiting completion with parts still outstanding 7months the after receiving it. My van was empty as I couldn’t install.
Latest update: Spent the last couple of weeks trying to get this flatpack built and installed however, we’ve just found out that the product we were supplied with doesn’t even fit our van! The wardrobe is way too narrow and cut in the incorrect profile for the type of van even though photos and measurements of the van were supplied. The wardrobe door was set up to open the wrong way meaning we wouldn’t have been able to open at all at the back as the back of the van prevented it opening! The owner of the company was gas lighting my wife saying she’d used the wrong screws to put the wardrobe door on when in actual fact he’d designed it wrong in the first place!
The sink/hob supplied was the wrong way round so wouldn’t fit into the cabinet, the sink being over the drawer. Also, the hole cut out for it in the work surface isn’t even the correct template for the sink/hob supplied!
It’s just been a catalogue of errors and shady practice by this so called company.
We are now having to pay another company to put right the inadequate rubbish we’ve been conned into buying and, he tells us it’s not the first time!
Avoid this company, it’ll end up costing you double in the end trying to put right what you’ve paid them for!
So disappointed. Didn’t want to complain so publicly but it seems calling you almost daily for 5months and sending emails doesn’t work. So many broken promises. We wanted to believe in you and your constant promises/lies but here we are, paying someone to put your shoddiness right. So disappointed and sad that we’ve reached this point. Definitely cannot recommend this company. Only gave 1 star as there is no option for zero stars. Appalling customer service. Full of all the chat but does not fulfil promises. AVOID.

T5 side lift pop top in black with grey a scenic canvas supplied and fitted £1800 (these are one size fits all)

Metallic grey LWB units with fridge and sink package deal supplied and fitted. £2100

Standard bed frame with seat belts £450
Upholstery and foam £650

Lead time on making ready to get you booked in for fitting 3 weeks.
Fitting time 3-4 days.

3 Months later and many many broken self imposed deadlines later I finally managed to nail him down to a location and get my Van back, to say I was disappointed is an understatement but I paid the 2k asking price just to get it back, its now with another fitter who will am sure manage to do what Stephen clearly is not capable of ie tell the truth and complete the job, he claimed to have fitted and "coded" folding mirrors to my van last Week, a VW specialist would know a T5 does not even have the option to code you use a special kit and alter the wires, the 5.1 has that option in the BCM, and the spiders that wove webs all over the existing mirrors sure work fast, my solar panels are fitted but the wires are just stuffed under the pop top in a way that makes it virtually impossible to get at so the pop top will have to come off, I even provided a fully wired fused and labelled board to ease the fitting but he never used it, the holes in the roof from the previous rails were left open i added the sealant, the trimming inside is not completed, he says he left a panel off to allow for wires, yep makes sense but where is the panel, I will need to have one made as he still is not responding to either calls or emails, we provided a specific colour carpet to line the van he has not used it so our vanshades are now the wrong colour more expense due to his lack of care or attention.
Believe the reviews on here they are true do not trust him with anything he lies, ignores you and goes out of his way to make your life difficult, after 3 Months I demanded my Van back and apparently I was being aggressive! Even on the Day of collection he could not avoid the lies he said any time after 1 was fine so I asked for 2pm 2 days before, at 2pm I got a email "sorry only just seen this am out and wont be back until 4"
plus I now have a huge deep scratch on the offside slider

Poor customer service and don't meet expectations poor attitude and not helpfull. Ordered some parts for my t4 with next day delivery 2 days on and still no goods rang for help and there not intrested

Bought some rear lights for my T4 was initially very pleased until empty promises of a resistor to stop my van playing dash light bingo
4 weeks still nothing so sending the lights back, they would rather accept a pair of used lights back than help a customer out. Shows the level of mentality and service
Wouldn’t buy from these numpties again if I was paid to!
In regards your reply you haven’t tried helping for 4 weeks you’ve made empty promises and not bothered helping
As for being a good company and accepting the lights back why close the eBay return instead of accepting?? Actions don’t match your words mate! Try to look good in your response but you aren’t doing what you’ve said exactly what I’ve experienced for the last 4 weeks! There is no installation error I in fact had a faulty stereo but the other lights on my dash are because of the lights
4 weeks of messaging and trying to help you say? I’ve had 2 messages from you since buying them both full of it with empty promises. Why don’t you take them back then you publicly and privately state you will but out of everyone else’s view you refuse. Read your last sentence!

The company and products are excellent, however their postage leaves something to be desired. If ordering from them please make sure you allow a lot of extra time to your items to arrive. Next day delivery seems to take 3-4 days and std delivery of 2-4 days seems to be nearer two weeks

A big thank you to Stephen for the work he did on my T4, Got the job done even when he was 2 men down and had to do the job on his own. Fantastic price and work workmanship, would defo recommend and use him again.

I couldn't be happier with the leisure battery tray I purchased, very well made strong and 100% paint finish, will definitely use this company again..
And on a plus side fantastic communication what a change that makes from other companies I have used in the past.... unbelievable customer service. Thank you guys @ T4mation
