Couldn't be happier with the service. I ordered unit for my T4 van. They arrived late but Stephen was always on hand to chase things up for me. It was the courier who was delayed, not T4mation. During fitting the units my hubby damaged a drawer front. Stephen sent me a new one free of charge, again, great customer service. Couldn't be any happier with this company. Well done!!

Stephen installed a top up roof with board bed to hight standard, quality of the product is very good.
Some extra work has been done including VW logo in two places.
Good communication from beginning to the end.I have some problems with payment as my bank didn't released founds but that didn't stop Stephen to let me go with the van back home.
Finally payment was released after 24 hrs.
So I do appreciate that kindness.

I have just had some work carried out by Stephen at t4 mation inc side lift pop top insulation carpet to sides of van, leasure battery and some other bits and pieces, I am over the moon with all these jobs and I will not hesitate to recommend him to my friends 😀

Extremely satisfied with the customer service, kept in contact to let me know when stock was available and booked me in. I had the 5th gear upgrade and the moment I arrived I was welcomed and there was no hesitation and got straight on with the job. Extremely knowledgeable.

I have recently visited T4Mation.
I can’t begin to tell you how positive the experience is that I have had with them.

I bought a T4Mation pop top from a local to us fitter however the fit was very substandard and actually damaged our pop top!

I reached out to T4Mation on Facebook and thank goodness I did! Nothing has been too much trouble! I visited the workshop with my van a couple of weeks ago, despite a long day working on our van, the roof was just not able to be saved. I spent a fair amount of time at the workshop watching the attention to detail put in by the owner and learning really important pieces of knowledge from him. (I’m a female in my 20’s with a van that’s older than me so any good wisdom is very much appreciated!!)

I then returned with my van yesterday. T4Mation completely replaced the roof for a more than reasonable price. The quality of his work is amazing! My 1994 T4 looks brand new again! Whilst the van was there he even tinted our rear window for a very competitive price and had checked the brakes and handbrake making me aware that some safety work needs carrying out. He explained it was the reason the brakes felt as I described “bumpy”.

Honestly, the service I have received has been top quality and I will not hesitate to return for any further works!!
The owner is the most patient and friendliest man I think I have ever met, nothing is too much trouble and he has taken the time to dumb things down and explain them to me so I know what’s going on with me van!

Last review removed as it breached Trust pilots guidelines.
However it does not change the fact that I was sold a pop top that was not fit for purpose.
I am not alone in having issues of quality with this company or indeed having to be on the end of a backlash from the owner when trying to resolve issues.
Missing parts were never sent and was told by the owner that I was a learning curve for his business and they would take on board the issues raised and change the way they done things. Yet I am currently still out of pocket.
Ironic that the seller suggests I am the only one with issues yet I have had others contact me with regards to the companies poor workmanship
Pathetic to blame a substandard product on fitting saying it causes a poor standard top to sag and to have marks where the struts have no strength support..
As regards to the "blackmail" comments in the sellers response I simple suggested to them that if they resolved my issue I would have no need to let others know how bad they are on social media. No blackmail just facts. They didn't resolve my issue so I posted a bad review. That's how reviews work

Very poor comms. Extremely disappointing.

Took my T4 in for a sliding window fitting in the sliding door. On the morning of the day it was due to be fitted the van decided to spring a fuel leak (T4 life!) Rang Steve to explain what had happened and to rearrange the appointment. He immediately said he’d be able to fix the leak at the same time he fitted the window! Dropped the van with him and a few hours later he’d fitted the window, changed the fuel hoses and also fixed an issue I’d had with the central locking! Great workmanship and really happy with the service, will definitely be using him again for future work.

Cannot fault the work from these guys. Very helpfull with ideas I had. Kept me updated with dates and times to do the work. My bed and seat covers have been made to a high standard and have transformed my T5 to a much better camper.

and delivers an aprentesises first attempt. I gave him the chance to fix an issue and he bodged it again. The man is a charlatan. Tried to pass off rust off miss matched metals as "Amber wax". He takes on to much work and stuff that is well above his skill level.

He told me he puts engine oil in a gear box.

And that will tell you everything you need to know about the man.

Easy to order, arrived on time and some parts you may not see anywhere else. Highly recommend to shop there and would buy again in future. Thank you.

I booked in with Stephen at T4Mation,

Originally I booked in for 5th gear mod, side elevating pop top and stance+ coil overs fitted.

I had a few questions for Stephen regarding the 5th gear mod, but I was unsure if it had already been done, so I asked a few questions about the RPM the van should sit at @70MPH, he gave me the answers I was looking for and the mod had already been done, so without his knowledge I would have happily paid for something that has already been done.

The pop top is fitted to a very high standard, I test drove a VW with a pop top before and the roof squeaked very loudly every time I hit a bump, but the roof Stephen has fitted doesn’t make a sound when driven!

Stephen also kept me updated daily on the progress of my van, although it ran over the time we had agreed, he just wanted to make sure that the vehicle was finished to the highest standard!
we spoke regularly to make sure I didn’t make a wasted journey.

I will not be hesitant to take my van back to Stephen when I require future work on the van!

Steve at T4Mation carried out both of these jobs on my T4 SWB 2.5tdi to a very high standard with great efficiency at a very reasonable price. He is a very knowledgeable down to earth guy who is always happy to help.

Over 20+ customers have come forward within the last 24 hours to say he’s stolen their money and run. Claims it’s customers fault. See the reviews and posts on Facebook and google.

I was close to Leeds and I had seen T4 Mation’s Store on line and want to pop in and buy some bits for my T4 camper van. However things did not go quite as I was expecting. I parked up where the Sat Nav had said but couldn’t see T4Mation’s Unit. I switched the Van off and me and my Mother decided to find it on foot as it is in a built up area. After a short while we managed to find T4Mation’s Unit and saw a gentleman called Steve. We asked if this was a shop and we where informed that this is his workshop unit and he holds only limited stock on these premises. But if you let them know want you want in advance you can arrange pickup from this location. I decided to leave my Mother at the Unit and go and fetch the van. When I got to the van it would not start so I returned to the unit to let my mother know. I told my Mother and the two gentlemen (both called Steve) that my van wouldn’t start. Steve the owner of T4Mation said that he will come and have a look to see if he could help get it started. He did some testing with a Voltmeter and Said that he suspected that the starter motor had gone, he said that it should bump start and helped me to bump start the van. The van bump started straight away so I drove the short distance back to the unit where Steve told me how to change the start motor. He said that there are 2 types of starter motor for my van (one with a clutch and one without) and the best thing todo would be to remove the old one and use the number off it to order the new one , as you have to exchange them anyway. So I went about removing the belly pan and the starter motor as directed my Steve (he was very busy earning his live in so he couldn’t do it for me but could lend me some what I needed) after about half an hour I had the starter motor off and took it to Steve and he used the number to order the replacement. The replacement would be here in appropriately 1 hour. The other Steve offered me and my Mother a drink while we waited for the part to arrive. I was I the presses of converting my VW T4 into a camper van and both Steve’s gave me sound advice about the different processes involved. Once the part arrived I fitted the replacement starter motor and reconnected the battery and gave her a test before refitting the belly pan. She started first time. I was having a bit of difficulty refitting the belly pan. So when Steve came to check my progress he gave me helped me to put it back on. I am extremely greatfull to both Steves for their hospitality, help and advice and I highly recommend T4Mation. I will be back in the future as I have now found a very knowledgable and friendly company for the majority of my camper van conversion requirements. Thank You.

Had new torsion bars fitted excellent service as usual.. fantastic work.. 5 stars plus
