Absolute FRAUD make an order and payment + paid for delivery charge !!! No communication No Answering the phone - BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM and I will be reporting to the local police in Brighton

Awful company to deal with. Of the items bought online (and taking a week to arrive!) that weren't refunded (to be fair, I did get the refund) those that were received came in a box with no inner packaging at all, so all the items were crushed and many damaged, many more were substituted with unsuitable replacements (i.e. I ordered organic palestinian oil and received non organic greek!) and some items weren't received at all.

This company shouldn't be trading.

Dreadful online service. Items missing that I have been charged for, and no reply to my emails. I have started a process through paypal.

Ordered some large jars of dill pickles and was sent small ones instead. Promised a refund which, despite 4 emails over 6 weeks, and promises of action, has never appeared and leaves me out of pocket. Very poor service.

Awful company , ordered some products on line for delivery opened the box the baklava hadn't been packaged properly so had fallen out inside the box had to be thrown. The drinks cabs were dented and some drinks were missing that I had been charged for. I contacted them about this , someone said they would come back to me and nothing. You will see they have a number of bad reviews so this isn't just a one off , avoid.

The best Oranges in the city can be found here and very cheap too. A fab shop and I found that the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Gets my vote. Nest also for all those fiddly ingredients if you're cooking dinner for friends. Taj always have what you need, often where waitrose doesn't.

Just don't bother with their delivery service. Nothing sent a week later and they don't respond. PayPal claim in motion

Very bad service, order not arrived on time and not complete too, with missing products. I had my lesson never ordering again!

Taj grocers advertise 24hr delivery time on their website. I have been waiting for 8 days now. Customer service does not answer phone calls or emails. Should have researched before placing my order. Beware, this company is a scam.

They sent part of the order and they too was stale and inedible. They never respond to any emails. Stay away. Total scamsters.

I ordered a few things online and half my order wasn't delivered. I e-mailed them a couple times to rectify this and received no response, i then called them and no one picked up and even contacted them through paypal and again, received no response. Thankfully, a couple of months on, i was able to get a refund for the items that weren't delivered as i payed through paypal so it was sorted through them. I will not be ordering from taj grocers again and will not recommend anyone else to do so either.

Been waiting 10days for my delivery and not received my delivery. Will open a charge back with bank

I made an online purchase, including payment for 48 hour delivery.
The goods failed to materialise. I attempted to chase the order but only got an automated response via Taj's online chat facility (which has subsequently ceased to work at all); an email to Taj's advertised address (info at taj.co.uk) bounced, and phone calls to 01273 724571 are unanswered.
Beware.

My mother in law visited the taj Crawley and upon check out they refused to accept her paper £20 which is still legal tender, the manager was called and he said go and change it at a bank (it was a Sunday ). This left an OAP with no food unless she shopped at an alternative, I am surprised a supermarket like this does not know the law, and refused to serve and embarrassed a regular customer. I contacted customer service and received no response. If you have old £20 notes which are still Iegal tender I suggested don’t Shop at taj, as you will be left humiliated and hungry

Extremely poor service. Unauthorised substitutions of quality items by poor quality and cheaper items. Dairy product and products with less shelf life delivered with approaching date of 'use by' date. Absolutely disguising experience.

I go here often.. and always leave smiling - they’ve stayed open during the pandemic which in my case has always been useful, whenever i go there is never a line! and staff have been lovely too

Loads of products from around the world! It can be a bit pricey on specific things but for the most part good value for money and selection which is hard to beat. If you're looking for some unusual ingredient for an exotic dish, you'll probably find it here.
