My only complaint is some of the information seems a little confusing.

TCA was such a fantastic experience. They guided me through a budget and worked with my creditors to get the lowest APRs. The automatic deductions make payments easy and next thing I know, I was debt free!

One thing that is important to me is communication and transparency. Take Charge America does a great job at that. I started with them 5 years ago, and they helped me reach my goals, become debt free, and when I needed to talk to someone, they were always there. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to free themselves from debt.

WARNING! When they negotiate a payment plan and start taking your money to give to the creditor -(for which they charge $60 a month) you DONT REALLY have a plan yet until it's put in writing from each creditor, which could take several months. In the meantime, you must still open every bill and then continue to make TWO payments (what TCA takes from your checking account plus the remaining balance of the original payment) until there is an official written acceptance. With 3 of my 4 creditors, they apparently accepted right away (I never saw any acceptance letters), but with one of them, it took 2 months, and I was unaware of that until my credit got dinged. It seems to me that TCA shouldn't be taking from my account and charging me $60.00 monthly until l the agreements are signed. I was prepared for the first month to have to be supplemented, but not the others. USAA had my payment plan activated TWO months after I started paying through TCA. When I called the office about the issue - and how I was reported 30 past due, they were very flippant. I was trying to preserve my credit - was not past due on any of these cards until I did this plan. I'm now in a great space and trying to but a house, but that 30 day PD ding on my credit is making that impossible now.

Would I use them again - no, I don't see how the were worth $60.00 month to send checks to 4 creditors. Ultimately, I trusted the payment plans were in effect and didn't open every bill - I thought I had taken steps to have them handled ...I was wrong -- you still MUST open every bill and do not assume your plan is ever in place. You will still pay TCA even if the plans are not in place -- so ....ya

I had a great experience with Take Charge America from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, and their team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They took the time to clearly explain my options and helped me feel confident in the decisions I was making.
What stood out the most was their excellent customer service. Anytime I had questions, they responded quickly and made sure I fully understood everything. It never felt rushed or confusing, which is something I really appreciated.
Their program has been very helpful in getting me back on track financially, and I can honestly say I feel more in control and less stressed thanks to their support.
I highly recommend Take Charge America to anyone looking for reliable guidance and a team that truly cares about helping you succeed.

The program is set upto teach about credit and how to use it properly. The help to get interest rates down are wonderful. The fact that they help you set up a budget is great. The counselors are kind and supportive. All in all a good experience!
