Jezza can be hilariously funny, but I hate the way he interrupts guests on the show; he talks over them all the time, with this I,I,I, think, think think stuttering rubbish. I also know he loves his l... See more

Some really bad programmes - Peltz et al
I used to like this station but some of the programmes are frightful Vanessa Peltz is a loud brash airhead. Her coverage today is particularly poor.
Paul Ross and Martin Kelner, two top presenters
Paul Ross and Martin Kelner, top blokes, worth listening to. Paul Coyte, shouting at 5 in the morning, a pain, thats when i revert to BBC. He talks a lot but says very little. Dont really need that decibel rating at that time in the morning. Also the singsong sound in his voice is irritating. Venessa Feltz, no thanks, someone else who is a legend in her own mind.Quite glad when the beeb got rid. Take Jeremy Vine soon, his monotanous tones wont be missed.
James Whale cannot be Serious
James Whale cannot be serious in his comments about the recent mini-budget.
I was appalled at his 'gung-ho' support for tax-breaks for the rich and abolishing the bonus cap on bankers. I worked for 12 years as a customer service assisstant at M&S. I think my annual bonus one year was £30.
Trickle Down Economics does not work. Look at the swathes of homeless people here and in the USA and this is after 12 years of Conservative government here.
This isn't the politics of envy but of justice.
What a dive this station has taken…
Re-edited: Since resuming a sensible schedule free of that wretched Vanessa whatsherface and Piers Morgan, TalkTV is back on a roll, in particular Mike Graham who has fitted back seamlessly into a morning shot followed by Julia Hartley-Brewer, Kevin O’Sullivan…I even have renewed respect for Jeremy Kyle who does a great job in the 4-7pm slot. And political editor Theo Usherwood is thriving at his new home, unhindered by the thought police at the Loony Bin Corporation to speak his mind. So much more relaxed and confident alongside Mike Graham than he ever was with the repellant James O’Brien.
Bring back talk radio
A year ago I would have given this station a high rating but since the introduction of talk tv and it’s evening and weekend format and presenters I no longer listen at those times. The news desk is dull and boring, the talk bring backs day time presenters to discuss what has already been discussed during the day and is tedious. Kevin O’Sullivan is much missed. Trisha Goddard’s show is politically correct and not worth listening too. The breakfast shows aren’t great and I don’t understand why Christo Foufas was moved to an earlier slot at the weekend. The bringing on board of Venessa feltz means the radio will be switched over at 4. You have ruined what was a successful radio format of discussion and calls and seem to think that your signing of bigger names will improve your audience. I think your viewing figures will show otherwise.
Radicalised tory/ukip presenters!
Two stars - Julia and Petrie
One star for Julia and one for Petrie. Julia and Petrie are strong, opinionated women who are enjoyable to watch or listen too - even when you don't agree with their personal views. But, oh dear, all other programmes seem to be dominated by old, older and frankly ancient blokes all of whom constantly repeat the same bombastic claptrap show after show. Younger presenters and more women especially in the evening would be welcome breathe of fresh air and might attract a larger and younger audience.
We need subtitles…
It would be good if they had subtitles , as the majority of the people watching are senior adults , I can’t always hear what is said so I switch to LBC which I can always hear clearly on the radio
Tory propoganda
Having been a listener of their sister station talksport for years I thought I would give talkradio a go. Found it very unbalanced, all presenters are very right-wing types, stirring up hatred of minorities with a very pro-brexit, pro-tory agenda. Nothing short of far right propaganda. They even have people feeding in to ridicolous Foxnews/QAnon conspiracies. It's like the Sun newspaper in Radio format. Keeping thick working class people voting against their best interests.
Adverts too repetitive
Great show and hosts by adverts too repetitive. They will play the same one every as break to the point it makes your ears bleed. They're not even bad adverts, but repeated to the point the program becomes unlistenable. They need to put a limit on.
What Have You Done?
Oh my!
You've gone and broke it.
Since you decided to become a TV talk show, I've stopped listening. The presenters you have in the evenings are rubbish.
Hardly anyone's call is put on air now. All we have to listen to is the opinionated boring drivel from the presenters
I used to listen to Kevin O'Sullivan regularly in the evenings. Where is he now?
You tried the TV format years ago. And it failed miserably. You've done it again. It doesn't work.
Stick to the old format. Which worked. Get rid of Morgan to begin with.
Let more callers on.
I no longer listen to talk radio. Which is a shame. I looked forward to listening to O'Sulivan in the evenings.
I now listen to LBC.
Until I find out you've made changes, I won't be listening again.
So enjoyed talk to at first .But to be…
So enjoyed talk to at first .But to be honest I'm fed up with hearing how boring the labor leader is .I'm not mad on him myself .But come on enough is enough .So boring .Maybe some may find you boring .lol .Do like the show
Emma and Julia talk sense and can debate
Talk tv started well due mainly to Julia, the decline started with the disgraceful hiring of Kyle when this channel decided they wanted to have global aspirations. Along comes Morgan costing £50 million who managed to expose himself as an overpaid fraud surrounding his MSM attempt to continue the attacks on Trump, this one act has smashed this station's reputation. The station's expectations are grossly out of context on what they can deliver, or the talent people want to hear.
Mike Graham was once a pillar of this channel, a few weeks ago he questioned Bill Gates's involvement in British politics yet last week started cutting down listening to those who repeated this concern, clearly been got @. Ian Collins only reference to everything is disgraced Tony Blair. Cristo might occasional mention he is gay and married and loves playing with his husband live on air. The channel seems to be trying to coach serial failure James Max into having a personality. Let me confirm not, as his endless name dropping about his links to the Royal Albert Hall confirms, why keep mentioning it, if not to get people’s backs up.
The weekends are filled with gestures and rendered unwatchable, but boxes are ticked. The channel once had a good formula to allow free speech. It now clearly has a north London agenda.
I encourage free debate on subjects I am not an expert as this how we learn. Emma Webb talks more common sense than any other speaker and boy can see debate.
For me Emma and Julia are what we need more of and less of the overpaid fakes like Kyle and Morgan and sack the guardian\itv type producers they hired on making radio into TV because it smashed the magic.
Rupert Murdochs dream was to bring sky news Australia freedoms to the UK, safe to say his HR team have failed, the only one's worth anything had been there since the radio days, long before this venture, I doubt the 600 million pounds will be missed by him, shame because the concept is worthy just poorly delivered.
The owners have broken something that didn't need fixing …
Used to listen to Talk Radio all day...Mike Graham.Julia.Kevin O'Sullivan..Richard Tice and Peter Cardwell (Ian Collins IMO was the weakest of my favourites)...but now they have changed the 7pm slot and O'Sullivan is gone...the whole character of the programming has changed and Claudia Liza and David Bull I can't listen to. so boring.... Equally Trisha Goddard on Saturday...switched off even before the change to Talk TV as her pontificating and so boring delivery is not for me. As for Mrs Osbourne and Piers Morgan ..no thanks. I will still listen to Mike Graham and JHB Richard Tice and Peter Cardwell but the station has lost a listener for the rest. Not sure they will give a damn but from the reviews I read ..people's thoughts seem to be broadly similar.. Change the format back before you do permanent damage ....Such a shame....was not broken before the owners meddled with a pretty good format .. update. Since David is presenting alone is so much better. Now they have installed Vanessa Feltz. that's a three hour slot I make myself scarce. How boring is she? Awful
What’s happened to the Whale
What’s happened to the Whale, very poor replacement 👎🏻
James whale
James whale, removed from 10pm slot, very poor. Bring back James
Video killed the radio star and superstars
I, like others miss Christo, eamon and Jamie east, who have all gone now, but these were the people who drove up the numbers for talk radio (then). Some of us have been avid long time listeners, even when they switched ti DAB I had to fork out for a new. Radio
Be careful with your line ups. Suggestion nick maasjid newas he’s good for balance.
Please stop mentioning bloody party gate this has to stop. And you’ve downsized callers contributions which is the premise of the title
It's taken a bit of a dive
It used to be that the worst thing about Talk Radio was the endless infuriating adverts and self promoting idiot jingles every 7 or 8 minutes, but it provided reasonably balanced discussion so I put up with the annoying interruptions as the alternatives are too lefty biased.
Previous to becoming Talk TV I would have given it more stars, but since it was revamped we have the likes of Sharon Osborne, Piers Morgan, and the completely annoying Claudia Liza in what used to be Christo's breakfast slot at the weekend. The bloke who co-presents with her is ok but she herself I find to be quite unbearable. Get rid of her and I might consider listening again at weekend breakfast time, or better still bring back Christo from the earlier slot.
If I thought they might be interested I would suggest :
1. Cut 50% of the ads
2. Lose all of the stupid self promoting jingles
3. Confine news breaks to once an hour
4. Get rid of the low grade trashy element mentioned above (Morgan et al).
who thought it was a good idea to put…
who thought it was a good idea to put kyle on there given his past? We have no interest in the presenters sexual preferences, cant they keep it to themselves? foofas and max please...They all talk so fast like some old women gossiping, you can barely hear a word they say...and the endlessly repeating purile adverts make the whole thing just a racket..lastly they have got rid of the best presenter they ever had...The amazing and super entertaining Martin Kelner and his production team...
TalkRadio 2020-2021. RIP
I really enjoyed talk radio 2020-2021. Then it just went to to sh. It has seriously lost its way since I'm guessing new investors ruined it with rebranding etc. Now they are all just hollow pathetic hacks without an ounce of journalistic integrity. just look at ratings absolutely shocking. I haven't had the tolerance to listen anymore. It's a lost cause.
