Gone ‘Digital’?

TalkTv now renamed as ‘Talk’, the TV channel is no more.
I feel sorry for the presenters who have been bigging up the fact that it is now ‘digital’ (running through peoples streaming devices) as if that was the answer to all its woes. Morgan jumped ship some time ago and so did Feltz just before cut off.
Unfortunately ‘streaming’ is the word for the number of ad breaks as we are repeatedly brainwashed with the same ones since the channel started, as is GB News.
The running order of presenters has more or less returned to previous days as too much tinkering has proved to be far from successful. (though I thought it was ok).
If you have freeview with an internet connection it can be viewed on channel 280.
Good luck to all, however, missing you already.

daft new voiceovers for Talk Radio shows

What is the point of the dreadful new slow, gravely, voice-over announcements that accompany the new schedules? I find the voice both ridiculously slow and rather weird. It would be better suited to a horror movie.

Bet they threw loads of money at this rubbish as well.

Whilst I’m enjoying a rant, why couldn’t we just go back to what so many people enjoyed, namely: Julia at 6.30 and the Independent Republic of MG (where has that gone?) at 10am?

Also, whilst Julia is an able presenter, her endless preambles, before allowing guests to speak, which are full of lengthy subordinate clauses; which lead down several rabbit holes and take up so much time (see what I did there?) are a turn-off.

And don’t get me started on the weekends which are rather dull.

About time

At last we dont have to listen to the champagne socialists Nicola Thorp and JJ Anisiobi any more. Im sure LBC will welcome them with open arms
Fab new line up Talk Radio at last. Well done. Just a shame Tricia ws kept but Nana Akua on GB News covers the 4 to 6pm slot both Saturday and Sunday.

Julia announces new schedule from Monday

Julia announced on her programme at 12:06 today (Wed) that the schedule is reverting to the Talk Radio schedule from Mon 29th April:
Mike Graham 06:30am
JHB 10:00am (Alex Phillips - Fri)
Ian Collins 1:00pm
Jeremy Kyle 4:00pm
Kevin 7:00pm

As Julia said a large number of the original Talk Radio listeners still tune in and will be very happy by all accounts ... Hooray! or should I say HOORAY.

edited for typos and to include an extra HOORAY.

Julia HB should come back to breakfast show

Please bring back Julia HB to the breakfast show. Even when I try to listen Julia at 10am, it's almost like "old news" - other radios have gone through the same themes.

I used to listen every day from 6:30, whilst getting ready for work. Now, I don't even bother putting TalkTv anymore.

I listen to Talk Radio

I listen to Talk Radio, but call it Interrupting FM. Have to turn it off after a while because they all talk over each other. Can't hear a funking thing. Feckin painful. Crosstalk etc. I enjoy the platform but if folk can't distinguish between TV and radio then more training or awareness required.

Yet again talk TV totally tory biased

Yet again talk TV totally tory biased. Nick berry a tory member (literally) presenter using his position to berate the labour party. Unbiased opinions lol.
Cuts people off when they have a pop at him what a dummy spitter. The only good presenter is Peter caldwell all the rest are an insult to compulsory BBC licence charge.

Awful new format

Awful new format. What's with the double acts. Mike. Kevin and Ian Collins were OK on their own with lots of debate with callers. That appears to have gone. Just really boring now to listen to just like gb news

This is now my second complaint…

This is now my second complaint regarding the James Whale show, and I have yet to receive a reply.

What is the point of inviting Miko Peled on their programme and constantly interrupting him, not letting him express his viewpoint and ridiculing him. This gutter journalism and unprofessional behaviour and do you really want your station marred by the behaviour of these two and your other presenters. Any sane person can see their biased agenda and their zero empathy for the dead Palestinians.

When are you going to take any action against them?
