I purchased 4 locks and 3 of them cannot hold a charge. A total waste of money. So disappointed

I bought tapplock padlock 3 months ago and used it with the fingerprint option since then every week day. Let say it worked well or nearly well with my finger until 2 weeks ago when it refused to recognize my fingerprint. I tried to use the bluetooth but it was not connecting to my phone. After many trial I finally open the padlock and get off the metro three stations after the one I was supposed to get off.
I bought a simple combinaison padlock which is mechanical and perfectly works.

Love my Tapplock! I use it every day at the gym. It has been 5 months and it still is sowing 80% battery on the initial charge. No more keys or combinations to remember and lose. I love gadgets, but this is seriously used every day, it is a high quality and solid lock. My highest recommendation goes to Tapplock!

Gotta love new Technology.
I first experienced Tapplock when a friend of mine purchased one. We’ve all had those standard spin combination locks for years and then Tapplock comes along with a new twist on an old concept. Finger print technology, ya gotta love it! I love my Tapplock and tell everyone I can about it.

I have had this for six months. Water has got in despite it being locked. Now it will not charge, will not unlock and it is stuck on my gate with little hope of removing it. Assistance is only available by email and so far very little help. Not sure how I am going to get this thing off.
Don’t buy. Not as reliable as they would have you believe.

We love the lock! Works great, looks great and has become quite the talking point with our friends. We use ours on a potting shed at the back of the yard and not having to always remember a key is fantastic.

I think this is a fantastic device which is controllable from your phone and can be unlocked using fingerprint recognition. I have two of them and have used them for many months now. Brilliant device which I highly recommend.

I love this lock! It’s an amazing piece of technology that is super functional. It is a bit heavier than I thought it would be, but that’s ok. It works perfectly, even with wet hands. If you don’t have this lock yet, get one!

I have had the lock less than a year and it stopped working for no reason. I have no way to unlock the lock. I contacted their customer service and was told that bc I bought it through Amazon, I had to deal with them and that it will have to be cut off. No other remedies. That’s a pathetic customer service response.

While a bit of a luxury, this lock has been one of my top purchases this year. It saves me time getting into my locker, completely eliminating the hassle of sometimes having to enter my combo multiple times on my old combo lock. This time-saver is the most appreciated those times I am in a rush or when I mistakenly prematurely close my locker and have to get back in. Tapplock is easy to use and secure - a particular concern of mine when there was a warning of lockers being broken into.

The customer service is also fantastic. My first lock had issues relocking and customer service was excellent and responsive in not only diagnosing the issue being caused by a broken O-ring, but also offering to replace the lock free of charge.

My only criticism is the setup and iPhone app are a bit buggy and it required multiple attempts to get the lock to work properly by storing my fingerprints and morse code. Also the magnetized charging connection detaches easily, so you just have to pay particular attention to ensure that it stays connected during charging.

All in all, minor inconveniences for a benefit I appreciate on a daily basis.

The Tapplock is reliable and simple to use. Quality of the lock is very good and the functionality has proven to be very handy. I can only recommend the lock to anyone who is looking for a fingerprint reliable lock
