Once again logging into may account to renew my resident parking free was problematic

Once again logging into may account to renew my free resident parking was problematic. My password was not recognised and when I updated it the updated password was not recognised and then it locked my account. This has happened on previous years too. It makes me wonder how much Merton council spent on this computer system and whether it was value money.

Rip off for residents parking

This company runs the Coventry residents parking scheme. The whole scheme is as clear as a pint of Guinness. On tryingto register a tradesman's van at my mother in law's house (She's mid 80s and wanted me there when the workmen arrived) not only was it totally impossible to register the van I also discovered that my permit to park there had expired 7 months earlier - but was unable to re register my vehicle. Checked through MiL's emails and NOTHING from Taranto or Coventry council to say that the previous permit had expired.
Total rip off.

Very impersonal and not helpful.

Ealing council sent a link to Taranto services reset my password to buy CPZ. Every time I tried it, I got a message saying Taranto systems were down. I asked Taranto services for support but they said I needed to contact Ealing Council even though Ealing council had sent me Taranto link. Thankfully, someone helped me by suggesting I use a different browser. Ealing council also responded and although I had solved the problem by this time, were much more helpful than Taranto.

What’s the opposite of “cutting edge”?

Once I got a vague error trying to buy 4 visitor vouchers. Tried throughout the day, called them, no luck getting it to work. Accidentally requested 5 on one of my attempts and it worked. Tried 4 again right after - got the error again.

Awful system!!!

I use harngeys taranto system and it is awful. Conveniently forgets passwords and doesn't allow you reset the password and then locks your account. No doubt to elicit more money in fines. All the this terrible system does is compliment the already awful systems and service provided by Haringey Council.

Hopeless parking permit system

Hopeless parking permit system. My car is only 2 years old yet cannot even look up my CO2 from DVLA. Other plugin hybrid owners reporting the same at Haringey Council. And then takes days to fix (still not fixed 6 days on). No contact. Simply hopeless.

These guys took over Ealings Residents…

These guys took over Ealings Residents Permits. Suddenly there is no paper or physical reminder about when your permit needs to be renewed. Your dependent on them to send you an email. We now see residents constantly getting fines because they don't receive notification about renewals. Obviously its not in Ealing Councils interest to inform residents about renewals as they can generate revenue from fines. Bad systems, implemented by unaccountable bureaucrats, with conflicted motivation.
