I ordered a Christmas present for my mum and it still hasn’t arrived 5 month later!!! I have emailed numerous times and I haven’t had no update no email even though what I purchased was IN SHOCK online!!!! Plus I has to pay customs witch on website had no mention of!!!!!

I had a great experience buying a…

I had a great experience buying a number of items for a project in London. I was apprehensive after reading some reviews flagging issues with deliveries but I had no problems. My order was split into two deliveries (at my request), and I actually received the most time critical part of the order a day earlier than expected! There was some lack of clarity on expected delivery dates for some items that were made to order but I had anticipated longer lead times for those and made sure to order well in advance so this wasn't an issue. Antonio and Andrew were very responsive throughout the process - I'd recommend.

Long wait for delivery and high additional costs.

(1) I ordered the item on February 18 and it was shipped on April 2. When I inquired as to the delay I kept getting told to be patient.

(2) the item cost $168.69. I was charged $48 for shipping and then surprised on April 4 with an import duty due -- unless I paid another $45.39 the item would not be delivered.

So even though I eventually got the item in good order, I would not recommend this site to Americans.

Don't order anything here. I ordered wallpaper. It was out of stock. The order was cancelled. I still haven't received my money back, even though I have asked for it at least 4 times.

Bought two cast iron cooking pots (made by Staub France) at an attractive price. But at no point of the purchase process was I made aware that the items were being sent from non-uk source and that a tax premium would be payable on delivery.
Had I been aware of these undisclosed charges I would not have purchased the items.

This company are PANTS

This company are PANTS. Charge you shipping but don’t mention import duty and then make a lot of false promises about “sorting it out”. Lots of charming talk BUT no action. Don’t waste your money, time or energy on them

Avoid Shopping Here if US citizen

the shipper misclassified my entire order so it was designated as all steel whichis a 56% tariff. my $405 order had $226 is tariffs and they refused to amend the designation. i am going in circles with them to get the matter addressed. sometimes they email in italian and i
cannot recommend this company. they blame the US shipper but the US shipper shows the ShippyHome paperwork. Impossible. company also doesn't understand how reviews work and instead just copied what i shared without anything useful or understanding. boycott this company.

Stay very clear of this company

Stay very clear of this company! I would not recommend anyone to use this company at all. I originally placed an order for a Seletti rug totalling to over £600 I didn’t realise that coming from Italy I would have to pay 20% and more than likely wait weeks or months for my Order. So Immediately contacted tatthome to cancel my order. Didn’t get a response back. Luckily I paid with PayPal thank goodness. So opened a case with PayPal. 24 hours later received a email from tattahome saying apprently they didn’t receive a email from me. Which I don’t believe at all. Tattahome confirmed they would respond to the claim 48 hours later nothing and no refund. Contacted tattahome again. To be told there is nothing they can do as I have opened a PayPal case. Which is a complete lie. They have 7 days to reply and to refund. Which they have not before I can forward this to claim. Well tattahome since have come out with every exscuse going why they can’t refund me. They haven’t even bothered to comment on the case with PayPal which they have told me they would. And all communication from tatthome would be through PayPal. Well they haven’t bothered. And keep sending me Emails to my personal email address. Is it really that difficult tattahome to contact me through the PayPal case and refund me. Like you said you would but haven’t bothered. Just had the same email back from them now. Well a screenshot from the previous email, and you actually being serious saying we will reply back to the case. And they haven’t. I warn anyone do not use this liar of a company. They will use any excuse not to refund you. And hope the case runs out with PayPal. Scammers stay very clear of this Company

Update to your response, you had 7 days to answer To the dispute on PayPal! Which you completely ignored. You told me on 3 occasions through my personal email, that you would directly respond through the PayPal dispute. As PayPal as you know was awaiting your response, you failed again to respond! Even Theo you told me 3 times to my personal email you you would directly communicate through the dispute! That was another lie! This has nothing to do with PayPal. PayPal sent you reminders so don’t lie! You never once responded! Only after the 7 days you had to respond. I furthered the case to PayPal for claim! Suddenly after I did this within 10 minutes you refunded me! You had a whole week to refund me before I had to escalate the claim. So don’t use PayPal as you scapegoat and come out with utter lies!!! You say this is what happened. I have actually posted what happened. Your whole company is full of complete and utter lies!!!! Stay away this company really is a SCAM!!!! They will lie and blame others. Just check there other reviews I’m not the only customer!

However, we would like to clarify what actually happens in these cases.

As soon as a PayPal dispute is opened, the transaction is immediately frozen by PayPal. From that moment, the seller is no longer able to process a direct refund outside the case, and all actions must go exclusively through the PayPal resolution center.

This is not our policy — it is how PayPal’s system works.

We did not ignore your request. On the contrary:

We acknowledged your cancellation request
We informed you that the refund would be handled via PayPal
We are required to respond within the PayPal case, not via separate channels

If there has been any delay in communication within the case, we sincerely apologize — but there is absolutely no intention to avoid the refund. The outcome is managed and finalized directly by PayPal, which guarantees protection for both parties.

Regarding duties and VAT: after Brexit, all UK orders are subject to local VAT (20%) payable upon import. This is clearly stated on our website and applies to all international purchases into the UK.

We strongly reject the accusation of being a “scam” or acting in bad faith. We process thousands of international orders every year, and when issues arise, we work within official procedures to resolve them correctly.

We remain fully available to assist you and we encourage you to continue the communication directly within your PayPal case, where the refund will be properly completed.

Refund not being processed

I contacted the company a couple days after my order to cancel as I had changed my mind. However 3 weeks later my order still has not been cancelled. I keep getting told by customer service that’s it’s with the admin team or they will sort it soon but nothing has happened. I will not order from here again and as of now just want my refund
