I tried to use the Taxiapp and it required me to enter a code sent to my mobile. It was quite impossible to move onto the next screen as the keyboard obscured the next button. Very irritating. I gave up and took the Tube

My first time using TAXIAPP and I couldn’t be happier. I made an advance booking for a trip to the airport and driver was allocated well in advance and got in touch to confirm the booking. Arrived very promptly for pick up and was very helpful with luggage as I am recovering from a knee surgery and currently use a walking stick. Definitely will use them again and already recommended to a few of my friends.

They now accept tourists so changed to 5 stars!

I want to use a London taxi only app when I visit London 4 times a year but I can't.

They do not allow foreign mobiles to register so I have to stick with FreeNow UK.

Brilliant service from a black cab as ever, the best way to travel in a taxi/car around London.

Great to hear this is an app by the drivers for the drivers which will support their future.

App very easy to use and useful being able to pre-book.

I have used this app 3 times to book a taxi in advance. On the first 2 occasions the taxi was waiting outside before the alloted time which was excellent. On the last occasion the taxi was not there. When I opened the app, to try to call the driver, a message came through to say that the booking had been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Also, the app did not have the driver's telephone number. As I needed to attend an important hospital appointment and go there NOT via public transport, this left me in a fix. The app needs to be improved so that passengers are warned in advance if a booking arranged in advance cannot be kept. ie, they should be sent a text message or email so that another arrangement can be made. In future, I would be unsure about relying on this app for advance bookings unless it can be improved.

Amazing app, this app stopped us from missing our train which would have been expensive. At high periods when taxis are in demand this app can give you the edge and unlike other apps this is free at no cost to the customer or cabbie. Should be rolled out to the other cities across the UK. If you are a London cabbie and you are not using this app then YOU should be.

Excellent app, worked well no fuss, driver was extremely professional and phoned me to confirm pick up address and gave me ETA. I will continue to use this particular app because it supports the black taxis in London, they keep all of my fare and pay no commission unlike other apps.

Used Taxiapp for the first time last night when in a hurry to get to London Bridge, all as you would expect from London’s black cabs, knowledgable driver with added use of bus lanes got me there on time with no fuss, the app worked well, driver said a new update coming soon to give greater coverage.
Choice of paying by card or cash. Transparent pricing, the amount you pay being displayed on the meter, so no nasty surprises unlike some other apps.
Nice to know this app is run by the drivers and only use black cabs.

Excellent service. Second to none. Black cab driver knew the route through expert experience through the knowledge (did not need a Sat Nav that does not always give the most cost effective/ easy route,!)

have used the app a few times when not near a main road to hail a taxi. The drivers are always knowledgeable and know the quickest way to your destination. One driver also mentioned that it is run by drivers which is great!
