As an ex Taxifast driver I have some experience. booked a taxi, took some time to explain the address although I gave some directions. First I was told to meet him at Bookers wholesale. I was clear that I wanted picking up some short distance from there. Was told that was OK.
Next I was called to say he was at Bookers. In fact he was on the main road further down.
Untalkative, hey that`s OK. What wasn`t OK was we had a near miss caused by the driver travelling at inappropriate speed.
First time I have not tipped for years.

Over charged
Booked for a friend as a wait and return £24.90!!!!!!!!! Even at Christmas it did not cost me as much for the same journey. Driver used the advantage of knowing my friend didn't know the price. Was made to give £30 upfront.

Can't fault the service
I booked a taxi for 0500am and it arrived early. I had notifications that my driver was on the way, and then confirmation of arrival with the type and colour of the car. The same happened on my return journey the next day. Can't fault the service
