A brilliantly written CV
I wanted to have my son's CV updated as I thought it was a little insipid. I approched Taylor CVs, and throughout the service they asked me for any more information that could be added. The end result is a CV that is a million miles removed from the one he used before.

The issue I have with this service is…
The issue I have with this service is the amount they charge and time they take when they seem to not absorb the information that you give them. I had to correct things I already had given them information on several times and that took up most of the week that they give support for. Not too pleased with the service tbh . They are polite on the phone however

I paid for the basic CV service. felt that all the service consisted of was me sending my current CV to them and them reformatting it to a very basic, old fashioned style. They wanted me to send them all my career history. This was already outlined on my CV. I needed help creating a CV, not a secretarial service restyling everything I had already created. It was easier to just create my own new CV with a nice modern format and a QR code linking to my LinkedIn page. My LinkedIn page is up-to-date with all my employment history.
I explained several times to them what kind of role I was applying for and the basic qualities for these roles are easily found on any careers website. This is not a professional CV writing service - I have used one before which was much better. All along they were trying to get me to pay for the ‘professional’ CV service. Now as you get further on in your career, your CV gets simpler, not more complicated because the application process gets more complex. I told them not to proceed with the service after I saw the first draft. I have not received any offer of a refund.

As a Dr and a highly experienced professional you purchased our budget Makeover option which clearly states we don't re-write or amend your experience. You purchased the package without speaking to us and after having extensive feedback which showcased vast improvement that needed to be made.
You needed a bespoke option which we offer... everything you mentioned above states that you needed a full re-write. If you choose not to pay a company for that type of service then you won't get it.
If you want a full service, we gave you a special price to upgrade and we also offered to make any further amendments to the layout/ profile and key skills as per the Makeover option.
This is NO fault of our company... this is your personal choice so take responsibility.
Thank you for the feedback but your feedback is not a true reflection of our service but simply a reflection of your poor choices.
