Nilesh is an excellent Sales Executive who is always professional, proactive, and genuinely cares about his clients. He consistently refers high-quality business to us, and it's clear he takes the time to understand his customers' needs before introducing them. Taylor Wimpey, separately warned that the housing market was in a “prolonged downturn”. Your fault. The current market conditions highlight a long‑standing issue: housebuilders have been charging far too much for new homes and flats. Many developments offer poor value for money, and service charges for flats are often unreasonable and poorly explained. Consumers deserve fair pricing, clear information, and homes that justify the cost

What a great experience with Taylor Wimpey.

Sale executives were amazing at Coatham Gardens. Thoroughly explained the process of buying a new built and well guided through. Very welcoming/very well organised/very informative and very helpful. Communication was first class.

Unfortunately, our experience with Taylor Wimpey's after-sales service has been disappointing.
Since moving into our home, we've raised a number of concerns and have often felt that responses have been dismissive rather than genuinely focused on understanding the issue being raised.
We understand that not every issue falls within a developer's responsibility, and we have never expected Taylor Wimpey to resolve matters outside their control. However, we did expect clearer communication, empathy and better support when looking for advice.
The home itself is good, but the level of after-sales care has left us disappointed and is not an experience we would currently recommend to friends or family.

Their honesty, professionalism, and genuine advice gave us confidence in every decision we made.

Great house design and sales people but the after sales/customer support is absolutely abysmal and I would 100% would not buy if I had to deal with them again.
The customer support team simply DO NOT care about supporting you. Issues for my house took ages and required constant reminders and chasing to the developer. The Customer Relations Manager (David) was like talking to a brick wall as concerns were never relayed or snags actioned in a timely manner.
I complained about another issue affecting our kitchen and spoke about how it affected our family. All the customer rep said over the phone was "aw bless"

Absolutely awful so avoid.

So far the process has been very helpful and stress free. Martyn has been brilliant and kept us up to date and worked really hard for us. We are very grateful for the support so far.

I had a terrible experience with the south midlands, Leighton Buzzard sales team. We were told that there was an opportunity to part exchange, rushed through the process - call with mortgage agents the following day to prove affordability, took day off work 2 days later to allow agents to come in to value, got a call on the 3 days later with a px offer that I was told was from the sales director and I had 24 hours to decide. As we hadn’t seen the show house we drove an hour to St Albans to check we loved it in real life as much as we did from the renderings. I went back to them on Monday and accepted the offer and was told it just needed to go to head office for final sign off. I received an email late today to be told the sales director (who I assume was the same one that signed off the px offer) had decided not to proceed due to budget constraints. The problem I have is that before the process started I said that we were only interested in px, there was a mention of budget constraints but was told that would be checked prior to our first meeting taking place. As that meeting went ahead I assumed there was no issue and allowed to be taken along for a ride. TW - you owe me a days holiday and petrol to St Albans and back

We are very happy with our experience with Taylor Wimpey. The whole process has been smooth, and the quality of our new home has met our expectations.

A special mention goes to John, who has been exceptional throughout. He has always been professional, approachable, and willing to help with any questions or concerns we had. His communication was excellent, and he made sure everything was handled promptly, making the entire experience much less stressful.

Lisa has been incredibly helpful throughout the process. Helping us to understand the options available to us and accommodating all of our questions and requests for multiple viewings! Communication has been really clear and transparent throughout. Most importantly we are really excited by our new home!
