My phone was taken for repair, I had a text saying it was repairable and another that it had been repaired, however never received the phone call to collect, even over a week after the collection date. Went in store to check, to find they couldn't find it. They did give me a replacement refurbished phone, to be fair, but still .

I have tried to contact currys knowhow via phone and email regarding repairs to washing machine only to be met with either an automated machine that is useless or email address that is no longer in use.
I have several appliances insured through this system and am now seriously concerned that I am paying monthly for a service that is a complete waste of time and money,would not recommend this company to my worst enemy now considering cancelling all policies.

Edit: Followed the advice to write an email. Recieved an acknowledgement email back and haven't heard anything since. This was nearly 3 months ago!! As anticipated, no help at all and money still being taken from my account.
I've tried several times to cancel but have been unsuccessful as they're unable to find any of my details!! Don't take out insurance with this company as it seems once you sign up you can't get out of it!

i was told by one of your staff that currys have a set price of £170 to repair galaxy z fold3 5g ..that was just before xmas 2024,i took my phone to the boston store and when i got the signed receits given me was told it could take upto about 4weeks to return the phone,but they would be intouch, this was 10/2/2025 when i left my phone with your store at boston (branch west street -7485) i waited to be contacted by currys but never got any message phone call or letter,so i went to the store to see what was happening with my phone..i was seen by a male staff member of your force who went into a joint room and holding a package,he had another guy see me at another till,while at the till the guy phoned the repair department then hung up after afew minutes then he said to me they not repaired it as it would have cost more than i wanted to spend?the staff member from your store said it would have been around £600 to repair..also saying they got the phone back awhile ago in store?the point is why didnt the repair department tell me about how much it would have cost; for all they know i might have said being as you already have my phone you might aswell repair it..i was never notified of any outcome untill i went to the store,so im really anoyed at the result...i have had alot of currys items that i have bought but this puts the damper on it.

This is the most useless company I've come across, they don't seem to care about customer service. I've have complained so many times regarding my washing machine, and is still faulty after 3 engineer visits and the issue is still not resolved. My last email I was told about them sending me details of referring to the ombudsman, but still waiting for this and now my emails to them are not received any response. Stay away from this rubbish company. They don't want to know when you get problems with your purchase, they wash their hands from helping you.

I wish I checked these reviews before deciding to start a cover plan with them. I have been waiting more than a month for my washing machine to be repaired. First the engineer enters the wrong report for my address which delays the visit for further 2 weeks because of parts that needs to be ordered. Then decides to not turn up to the visit and was given another week time visit but they decided to text me that 30mins before the time slot finishes when the engineer wasn’t even logged into work the whole day!!! Wasting my annual leave. I’ve spent so much money dry cleaning and all. We’ve got a family of 10. Tried to file in a complaint but kept getting ‘transferred to the right department’ but everyone denying it’s them that can help. Absaloute shambles I don’t know how they’re allowed to operate and I will getting ombudsman, trading standards everyone I can to investigate them

Disgusting service! Quick to take payment every month to cover the cost of insurance yet slow to act when needed! Same exact problem with my washing machine now for the 3rd time yet having to wait for over 2 weeks to have it seen to. Absolutely terrible service. On top of that I called the correct number to book the repair and was given a number to call to discuss my disappointment and the person I spoke to was just another customer service operator who books repairs and had no idea why I was given their number to call. I will never buy from curry's again.

Takes forever to get intouch with anyone on the phone system to report the problem im having with broken washing machine ..after 2.5hrs got through to someone and wont send a engineer. they want to do a video call for me to turn on a broken machine to see whats wrong with the it before an engineer will be sent out .i have video of the machine making the broken noise but they say they cant accept that .congrats on selling warranty to a 80 year old disabled man who cant use is machine after only 6 months .shame on you

Seeking to end my Currys Team KnowHow backup account, Currys have chosen not to respond to my Article 17 GDPR data deletion requests (including twice by letter - tracked delivery).
Currys still tried to renew my account - fortunately my bank had placed a precautionary block on any renewal attempt by Currys TKH.
Unable to delete my backup files before Currys locked my out of my account, am highly concerned that Currys still has control over my data which I cannot delete.
Accordingly I no longer believe my backed up data is safe.
In the absence of any response from Currys, I've now escallated this non-compliance with GDPR to the Information Commissioner's Office.
As Currys Group Ltd received my 24-hour tracked letter (to the address registerd with Companies House) and the matter is now with the Information Commissioner's office, there will not be any further communications with Currys.

Last minute engineers cancellation! Very disappointed I have no washing machine for a few weeks. Waiting for engineer and also me rescheduling my outings with family and engineer cancels. At least send someone else in his place! I have to wait another full week ! The amount and tine I have spent on laundrette and 12 years of insurance I should have bought a new washing machine!

Had machine repaired 16th Dec for it too break down on the 21st Dec repair booked for 30th engineer came could not repair it so ordered new parts was told will get back to book me in phoned them to be told will call 7th Jan to tepair I have had no washing machine I am discussed with the wait and how many times I have had to call for repairs not forgetting had a new motor on 16th dec

The 30 day money back is not honoured.
Even if you have receipt with the date on.
It means nothing to them because they argue that the date on the receipt is not the date they record from it's when you viewed the item online.
My autistic child's Christmas day was ruined because they sold me a faulty product.
They also told me that even if you are within thirty days if you have used the product you are not entitled to your money back.
So, in essence they sold me a faulty product, took my 800 pounds and said if I want a replacement that would cost another 300 pounds.
I was also told to leave the customer service desk as their were other customers waiting.
They are now fixing the computer.
But, I have no confidence in them.
I will never, ever shop at Curry's

Bought a mac book back in 2019. I agreed to pay for a years worth of back up with Knowhow but realise I was also signing up for this to be renewed every year. So i’ve now just realised TODAY I’ve been paying £60 a year for backup I don't even use. Cant even get hold of them to cancel my direct debit because the ‘website is being repaired’. Even disputed the payment with my bank a couple of months back because I had no idea what it was. Now I’m here.

The worst company to deal with. I have being paying for a care plan on my washing machine since 2016. Have had so many repairs, and each time an engineer comes they say next time we write it off and this never happens. The engineer that came yesterday refused to write it off, but also couldn't repair it as they needed a part. Currently been without my washing machine since 28th Nov and it's now 12th Dec. Raised a complaint, phoned up next day to check on it (today) and have been told there is no complaint logged. So frustrated. 2 kids at school and no washing machine to wash their uniform.

Absolute worse company i have dealt with. I have a care plan and taken my laptop with them over 4 occasions and they still haven’t fixed the problem although they say they have. They keep giving me back a faulty product although they said they have fixed it. They said they will write the product off and they won’t. Absolute rip off merchants. Paying for a care plan when they haven’t even fixed my product! And keep cutting me off when I call them.

I would give them a zero if it was possible. They're deleted all my data and all of my photos because my direct debit did not go through due to a card change. There were no emails, phone calls to let me know the payment had failed. I called them up as soon as my account stopped working to be told all my data has been deleted and there is nothing I can do. I recommend avoid using this service at all costs.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I have done a previous review on here for the same item and guess what it’s still ongoing! Still not got my refund. Now being told because I’ve switched current accounts they can’t refund me my money and can only refund it to a gift card. Erm news flash, not acceptable!!! Think it’s utterly disgusting, I have been waiting for my 69.99 refund since May!! It’s not September. Someone get in touch or I’m going to trading standards!!!

Absolutely frustrating experience dealing with these guys.
Had a problem with my washing machine, waited a week to be seen, first appointment 20th Aug. Engineer came and seen problem and ordered parts. 2nd Appointment 29th Aug!!! Engineer came out fitted parts, still not working, ordered more parts. 3rd Appointment 5th September. Engineer came out and basically said it can't be repaired. Will receive a voucher to purchase new washing machine by today. Called again on 9th September for voucher, told it can take upto 72 hours, so should receive it by 11th September. Haven't received any voucher until now. Called again 12th September only to be told that they'll email the write off team and chase up the voucher. I'm sorry but it's simply not good enough. Its been nearly 1 month since I reported the problem and still no resolution. Living with kids it been hard taking clothes to get washed not to mention the money it has cost me. You would have thought such an essential item like a washing machine would have been given priority and more competent engineer.
To say I'm fed up with the whole experience is an under statement.
I won't be using these guys again.

Waited in had a repair pickup for 8am till 12pm to find at 12pm they rebooked it. They was ment to text me yesterday to let me know not to stay in. But never got it. So waited money as I could have been working. If it happens again I will seek compensation for loss of earnings.
And go to the ombiman. So just for now ill see how it goes Monday coming.
