Washing machine repair

Washing machine repair, first appointment identified problem placed order for parts all good. Second appointment cancelled due to time allocated to replace the part wasn't long enough. New part ordered (don't ask me why) out of stock (despite having ordered me one), new repair appointment booked in. Received text cancelling it and moved to another day. Ring Currys get cut off ring again, asking for new washer as it wasn't fixed within 2 weeks, was finally told yes we can fo that but will take longer than waiting for my scheduled appointment. Fingers crossed my washer gets fixed in two days....watch this space.

Worst company I've ever dealt with

Worst company I've ever dealt with. My TV has no power but I pay every month for the repair plan. I reported this to knowhow 3 weeks ago and I have now had 4 occasions where I have waited in for the TV collection but I've never had the TV collected or had any communication to say they were not coming. I have had to chase this up everytime and the reason they keep giving me is that the don't have a container big enough to transport the TV (65 inch).

Awful and negligable customer service

Awful and negligable customer service. Been trying to get our dishwasher repaired now for over 6 weeks, despite a promise that it should be repaired in 7 days. Team Knowhow repair centre have promised a text/ phone call 5 tines now and we have not received one single message from tmhem. Wasted hours of our time on the phone (now made 5 phone calls) being passed from pillar to post and even told they can't put us through to a manager!!! When we insisted, they said no -one is available and an area manager will call you back within 24 hours. Yet again, no call back fir the 3rd time and we are still no further in receiving our voucher which was promised over 3 weeks ago for a new machine. Two customer service representatives on the phone have been rude, do absolutely nothing to solve the problem and continue to say the same thing - that you will get a text message or a phone call back that never happens. The whole process is extremely frustrating, time consuming and quite frankly disgraceful customer service over a policy that we have taken out and paid for. We will certainly nit be taking out any more of these policies with Curries and woukd strongly advise others not to either. My next step will be an email to the Ombudsman as we have tried phoning 5 times but get absolutely nowhere with this disgraceful company who have shown absolutely no customer service whatsoever!

I am realy annoyed about knowhow care…

I am realy annoyed about knowhow care plan have tried booking a repair for my brothers cooker which i bought have been on the phone and internet trying to book a repair from 1pm till6pm phoned 5 times and got speak to people and got cut off every time so tried online and guess what they just left the chats so tried to ring again and got cut off again so rude of them all thats 5 hours and have still not got to book a repair anyone thinking of taking this insurance dont bother as i am sick and fed up with the stress of all this and paid insurance for no help at all so would not recomend paying this they are so rude on phone am realy not happy we need help as my brother is his late 80s so needs cooker and insurance is paid

Curry’s are a shambles when it comes to…

Curry’s are a shambles when it comes to repair or customer service in fault goods. We bought our son a phone and it was rubbish. I took it back and they sent it off to be repaired then tried to blame us for the damage inside the phone. The pictures showed the metal plate which was the main board plate dented in 3 places, one dent pushing outwards. How on earth could my son have done this! This was obviously the reason the phone never got phone signal. I sent it back a second time because I didn’t accept their reasons and they repaired 5 things on it which proves it was not customer damage! The girl in store was trying to stick up for them saying how her phone did the same and it can happen. No why can a phone that’s been in a case and screen protected bend a metal plate inside the phone. It is laughable that they even said this. I hate curry’s refund policy. If you buy a faulty item you should be able to return it not have everything sent off for repair. I will no longer buy from them.

Terrible service fridge freezer broken…

Terrible service fridge freezer broken phoned know how team as have taken out there policy fridge freezer only a couple years old said they would put someone out in 7th aug that’s 2and half weeks with out fridge freezer had to throw out about £200pounds of food got an email saying it would now be 9th aug phoned and tried to get them to come out earlier but no joy not helpful in this weather not having a fridge freezer is not handy no cold drinks having to shop twice a day to buy fresh food if anything left have to throw it out as no where to store it shocking service really annoyed still waiting !!!

Would be zero

Would be zero.
Disgraceful service and thieves. Over £700 spent on my Knowhow plans and I have been without a working washing machine and dishwasher for 2 months. 4 repair teams been out in 4 weeks and I have taken 4 days off work. Dishwasher has damaged my kitchen units and floor due to continued leaking, Despite being told I would get a replacement I have spent 3 hours on the phone and basically called a liar, When I asked for complaint contact they hung up. Have been in store prior to last visit and will have to go in again as there is no willingness to help yet continue taking direct debit. Will cancel contact and would advise it is a waste of time. I have been living in an unsanitary home due to leaks and damage and am so angry. I’ve never complained in my life but this experience has tipped me over the edge. Over 2 months without washing machine and a young family is not ideal.

05/08/24 5 repair visits now and 5 days holiday used!

06/07/05 call from repair team wanting to send out repair team for 6th time!

I haven't had a washing machine for 2…

I haven't had a washing machine for 2 weeks it broke been promised the engineer would come out twice and been told theyre not absolutely raging took out the extended warranty never again will i buy any product from currys still without a washing machine will
Be next friday before it gets fixed hopefully when the guy camr out to have a look he said it probably wasn't worth fixing to many problems with it but currys decided they would fix it when i wonder just so pissed off is an understatement

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I’m only giving 1 star as it won’t let me give zero stars.DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.false promises and lies.they don’t do what they say.I’ve had my Apple iMac go faulty 4 times this year and they still won’t replace it even though it states 4 or more repairs or more in the policy.also my AirPods keep dropping Bluetooth and they won’t repair or replace due to external scratches which is nothing to do with the fault.exceptionally poor customer service and communication..AVOID THIS COMPANY….

If I could I would give a 0!
Tried to report a repair of my washing machine, Hotpoint had no record of my w/machine, just X prod recorded as my appliance, despite it being on a multi-cover for a number of years, since 2007. Told by Hotpoint to call Currys to get them to change my policy so it shows up on the agreement. Did so, 45 mins later, back from pillar to post with Currys, one department saying yes it's on my agreement and then saying they'll pass me over to someone else or alternatively just putting me on hold and not even saying they were doing so, by the time I get anywhere after being told I now need a code to give to Hotpoint repair by someone different on Currys I'm losing the will to live...may have been quite frustrated at this point but this process is not simple, now over an hour gone, and Hotpoint is now closed to report my repair. Exactly a year ago since my last repair and I remember now the debacle of a repairs system, they never seem to know what I have covered, take an age to get my details of which I seem to be put through to numerous staff to repeat the same details. I was quite frankly made to feel utterly devalued and the staff although some were helpful are not equipped to give good service.

Absolutely disgusting service call out…

Absolutely disgusting service call out to find didn’t come with parts to then say they use a third party as no spots to then have to chase them up as 3 weeks pass to find no record of being passed over to then rebook for today to be cancelled as engineer sick yet I can track the engineer and he on call number 6 of the day and I have to wait another week to use my cooker !!!

been waiting 7 days for a repair on my washing machine due to come out on day 8 so as per my agreement i can request a new machine as not repaired in their 7 day window so called the call centre and the staff are so rude and obnoxious dont want to help got told call tomm day 8 would not bother with the insurance you pay currys as not worth the paper it written on never dealt with such incompetent staff have insurance for other appliances with domestic and general and they are so helpful

carphone warehouse phone warranties!!

Returned a two week old phone to curry’s for repair as the screen had gone blank, took four weeks to be told it wasn’t repairable as it had water damage, this claim we knew to be total rubbish.
Collected the phone and took it to a local repair shop, within ten minutes it had been repaired and has been fine since.
I am doubting that the phone ever got looked at due to the length of time it took to return it and the reason given as to why it couldn’t be repaired.

Don't Ever Use Currys - Team Know How!

Contacted Team Know How (or Team Don't Know How) for a repair for a fridge freezer that we purchased 5 years ago from them. I did not take out a care plan which they said was fine. I can pay a one off fee, the repair would be assessed and if within the price I had paid then it would be done.
Engineer came out to look at repair, sent the report back to Know How who confirmed with me after a phone call it was viable, repair booked in, had to wait a week, cancelled on the day changing their minds on the repair, saying it now wasn't viable, no contact bar a missed phone call from a private number, no email to inform us of cancellation. Waited in all day, contacted Know How who confirmed it had been cancelled and why, their mistake, their issue, absolutely do not care, will not rectify their mistake, will not budge or even acknowledge that they have changed their minds even though I have email and text confirmation. If you but a product from Curry's and it work then fine but if it goes wrong, do not bother with a repair, save yourself the hassle and get it repaired or replaced not using this bunch of cowboys. I find it embarrassing (but not surprised) that such a large company care so little about customer satisfaction and looking at the reviews I am not the only one in this position.

So we have a plan with know how for a…

So we have a plan with know how for a fridge, our problem was the fridge was freezing all the veg and fresh stuff which meant we had to throw most of it away. 2 engineers later and the problem is worse than ever and the engineers attitude of Friday was “well if it happens again call us back up” which we’ve done but now have to wait another 2 weeks absolutely shocking customer service when explained what has happened will never use this company again and will never recommend anyone to use this absolute pathetic excuse for an insurance for white goods 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Will never buy another warranty from…

Will never buy another warranty from this company they give a date of 8 days you speak to a person from South Africa then after waiting the 8 days you think to yourself at 5 pm. where the hell are they.?.When you ring again your told that you did not infact book the appointment and the line was dropped that's a lie.
exact words where the next available appointment I have was for the 8 days I want be putting in the exact date. I ask what am I suppose to do for an appliance. She said I don't know.
So with that I hang up thinking its all booked you would think but they say the line was dropped which is a lie. As I thought that was the end of the conversation.SAVE YOUR SELF THE TROUBLE AND THE MONEY DON'T I REPEAT DONT BUY A WARRANTY IT'S NOT WORTH THE PROBLEMS THEY GIVE YOU...SHOULD HAVE TOOK MY OWN ADVICE FROM TWO YEARS AGO.
Just to update this post Engineer just came and basically said its done for. That's after waiting 13DAYS TO THE PERSON FROM CURRYS SENT YOU ALL THE INFO YOU NEEDED DON'T HOLD HOPE OF YOU DOING ANYTHING EITHER.30/5/24 UPDATE I WAS CORRECT THIS GUY DID'NT HELP IN ANYWAY AT ALL.
