Going onto my third repair within three weeks 7 day replacement policy is not worth the paper it's printed on. Curries Subcontracted whirlpool to repair my machine first visit to replace bearings, engineer left and my machine clearly wasn't working he turned it on and off again and went saying it was. The whole display was flashing and the door seal hasn't been fit back correctly then to find on second repair that same engineer had left a wire unconnected. Second engineer came said it was the unconnected wire that had faulted the machine tested it for a minute at tops went away said it was all working. Turned my machine on same fault occured. In desperation I contacted whirlpool told them it was unrepaired who asked me to start messing about with pipes at the back of the machine and tried telling me it sounds like it was working when I told him it was not. He even suggested I had over or underfilled my washing machine to which I explained I had had this machine for over five years and this had never happened before I know my own machine, it was buzzing, flashing and vibrating loudly when drawer was shut or door. Still no help. Told I would have to wait over a week and he was sure the engineer hadn't meant to leave the wire unconnected or at fault.
Very frustrated at this point contacted Currys who told me to contact whirlpool and basically argue my case again to which I explained again that they were unwilling to help. The man then kindly said he would get this sorted out for me and that it was unacceptable of whirlpool, he even asked me if I wanted a new washing machine as this had gone over the 7 day repair policy to which I accepted at this point. I was told after filling out the relevant paperwork that someone would contact me within 2 days and everyone was very nice and understanding and full of promises.
Two days later and no phone call. Contacted Currys who said it would no one had even looked at the paperwork to ring back after the weekend. I rang again on Monday to be told the same. I rang today to be told my claim had been rejected and I would have to wait for a third repair or a whirlpool engineer to write it off.
Three weeks of washing here and launderette has not been cheap I have four children one who is potty training, this has been a nightmare and I feel Currys and whirlpool are inhumane.
I've been fooled into thinking this would be sorted by people who just cover each others backs, lie just to get you off the line and don't ever ring you back. Be prepared to do all the work and very disappointed and frustrated is all I can say while trying to be polite about how I'm feeling right now.
I would not recommend this policy or the companies I have been dealing with.
Three weeks on and a broken machine, customers forced to take a repair and refused a replacement. Been a total waste of time, money and endless phonecalls.

I am not lying this is the level of service I have received from both companies but I will contact you on the email you have provided with my details so you can see for yourself. I don't hold out any hope that you can assist me before my third repair date on Thursday.

Third attempt of repair by Hotpoint/whirlpool and again I'm left with a broken washing machine that this company has completed as working. The engineer would not watch a washing cycle to fault the machine basically filled it with water and emptied it yet again has not took into account anything I have said regarding the fault and upon me testing it with washing in to show him what was happening with the fault he walked out and drove off without a word. Attempted to blame the water pipe at the back being blocked but was not water runs freely through it and pumps out no problem as he saw and said he had removed objects from the pipe which he had not on the completion report.
The assistance I was offered previously basically is non existent just emails saying the same thing if whirlpool dont put what's happening in a report there is nothing they can do so basically I'm left with no washing machine, no help, no repair, no replacement,a policy to pay that's no fit for purpose,a mound of washing I can't wash, and basically been called a liar.
This is the level of service I have received from both companies.
What an absolute disappointment.

Called into Currys last Thursday, took lots of videos and pictures of my machine faulting.
The gentleman behind the counter emailed headoffice on my behalf asking for a replacement stating he had seen proof of the videos of the machine still faulting and said someone would be in touch. I contacted know-how support team who said I would be issued vouchers for a replacement
Today still no call back and no vouchers. Rang support team yet again to be told my claim had been rejected and to arrange another repair with whirlpool. Took my Money though on time again.

I purchased a Samsung washing machine and along with it received of 5 year cover plan. And in case of any faults a 7 day repair promise. (you would expect this buying a thousand pound washing machine).after 3 weeks of being promised an engineer. I still have dirty washing. best service about!

Don’t waste your money, I feel swindled
I have been without a washing machine now since 11 August.
It was written off and we were told to expect a gift card to get a replacement.
How on earth they expect us to purchase a washing machine for £199 is just ridiculous, they don’t even sell one for that amount, plus the delivery and disposal costs.
We feel we have been mis-sold this policy we have continued to pay our monthly cover for ten years equating to over £1000, when sold we were informed if the machine could not be fixed then the item would be replaced with the same spec.
Our was a energy rating AA, 7kg drum with a 1500 spin.
Filtering on like for like the cost of a washing machine with this spec would be £379.00 the cheapest one
I have had to take this to my mothers who lives 6 miles away.
This has already had a financial impact as well as stressful one.
To be honest I don’t know what I’m going to do as I don’t have the funds to buy a washing machine.

My cooker needs fixing Tried for 4 days to contact know how, got stuck in the loop, then cut off, finally got through then transferred to someone else the repair is in 2 weeks time no time given for when they’re coming so having to wait in all day. Just had the paperwork through to guarantee another year don’t think I’m going to bother as appalling service sent a letter to your head office complaining about your service, why are you selling a service when you can’t access it. Don’t even think you deserve 1 star. One very angry and frustrated customer.

I have had a Knowhow policy for ten years. Used to be a good service when I needed support over the phone but the telephone customer service has gone downhill. When phoning about a laptop recently I was kept on hold and cut off. The last phone call the other day, the person asked for my post code and name endless times and kept getting them wrong, and kept asking me to restart the PC when I had explained numerous times the reason it wouldn't restart, and told me to go to the rescue me website to help remotely when I had explained it wouldn't even restart, and kept asking me what the issue was when I had repeatedly explained. I am not even sure if I was speaking to someone in the UK. When I was explaining I would get no answer just silence much of the time. I had to end the call and just take the laptop into the store. The guy knew right away what was wrong, it was fixed promptly and working fine. Lately, it's the telephone customer service that's been lousy. I've only given the 1-star for that. The service from the tech people in-store is good. I have had my laptop serviced by Knowhow many times since having it and that part has always been excellent.

Very poor service. Have had knowhow policy for washing machine for many years since purchased. Used it for repair before and was impressed with response and repair so continued with policy. Our Hotpoint is currently leaking and I have spent last 2 days attempting to book repair. Tried to phone knowhow but got stuck in continual loop at end of which was told there was no one available and to call back later then call cut off. Tried webchat but they were unable to help and told me to try store. Attended store and they were unable to help as I was told to contact knowhow or Hotpoint direct. Contacted Hotpoint but they said the policy did not cover. After 40 min of arguing they admitted my policy is valid and as they were about to book engineer I was cut off. I am now back to where I started. I received no help whatsoever from knowhow or currys. Very, very poor customer service, everyone just refused to help and passed me on to a different team. Despite 2 days of trying I am no closer to getting my washing machine fixed. I will be cancelling my knowhow policy and will not purchase anything from Currys again. No surprise that I have found similar reviews as it is a very poor service.

I received a £219 voucher from my tablet insurance. The voucher should be valid for 2 years until September 2023. Unfortunately, it has been reset. I wrote about it in an online chat, talked to employees in the store, called and wrote e-mails. Unfortunately, no result. Currys Customer Service directs me to Team knowhow because the voucher is from you. I have already sent you an email, unfortunately no response. In the e-mail I included the date of receipt of the voucher and related screenshots. The reference number I received in the return e-mail. That all and nothing more

My washing machine needs fixed. I took out Curry's repair and support plan when i purchased this item. I phoned there phone line yesterday and was not answered after waiting 1 hour and today i called and this was not answered after 3 hours. This is a shocking way to treat customers. There is no other number to phone so i am left with a washing machine that doesnt work.

After waiting over 2 hours for your phone lines to be answered - guess what I’ve given up! Appalling customer service , appalling wait times & extremely frustrating to even speak to a person regarding an problem . Really not worth the money paid for this policy personally zero stars would be more suiting !

Dyson hoover broke, took to store as I have the instant replacement insurance. It's been 4 days and haven't heard from them nor did I get replacement. Rang them to be told they won't fix it as it's still under warranty with Dyson! Then why the hell have I been paying insurance for over a year! Told me to ring customer service to make a complaint, great, I'll wait on hold for another hour only to be speaking to someone in India who can't understand me. Absolute shambles! The guy I spoke to used the excuse of 'well this is my first day back since tuesday' idgaf mate, I'm trying to run a cleaning business without a hoover. I'll be wanting my money back for the useless insurance I've been paying!

Disgraceful that, having delivered the wrong dishwasher replacement part, I was advised by the call team to simply throw it away (it would be 'cheaper' that arranging a pick up and return to stock). What kind of attitude is this to the environment? Trying to get through to the right department to arrange a pick up this morning: 8 different call assistants, 41 minutes on hold and still now on permanent hold.

absolutely appalling. I have been paying £5 a month for over 15 years to this company on a whateverhappens policy for a Zanussi washing machine. 13th June I reported a fault. An engineer came 16th June lifted up the slipped spring ( took less than a minute) left without doing any further checks.
I went on holiday 18th June .On my return 23rd June attempted to do a load of laundry and same fault reoccurred. 2nd engineer came out 29th June looked at machine, pronounced it unrepairable and left without touching any part of the appliance.
After many many phone calls and literally hours being bounced around from department to department the machine was written off 8th July and a gift voucher was issued via email to replace machine.TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY NINE POUNDS AND NINETY FIVE PENCE!!!!
My policy states with absolute clarity that I should receive vouchers for an appliance of equivalent specification NOT the same amount which I paid 15 years ago!
I rang on the 9th to query this amount and was assured that someone would look into this within 72 hours. Today is the 13th and no answer or remedy yet. This is shameful treatment of a long standing custome.
As of today I have not had a working washing machine for a full calendar month and have paid £1200 for this appliance with initial purchase and this “ care plan”.
This is one of 3 plans I have with this despicable company but it will certainly be the last.
If I do not have the compensation detailed in my plan by close of business today I shall be taking this to Martin Lewis and the small claims court.
Shameful and immoral
