My washing machine was written off after having an engineer come out and told the washing machine couldn’t be fixed. Received a message on 29th October from the write off team telling me I would receive a voucher to buy a new one within 72 hours. We are now in the 4th November and after 5 phone calls being told we would receive the voucher by the end of the day we have received nothing. We have a child in the house and have no means of washing our clothes apart from hand washing. This service is absolutely unacceptable and all our phone calls are falling on deaf ears. Also very infuriating that we can not contact the write off team ourselves and the customer service team can only contact them through email!!!

If I could give a 0 rating I would
I purchased a repair and support plan when I purchased my laptop, I have had numerous repairs on this and the fault I’ve had with it this time, I requested as per agreement that the laptop is to be written off and I am given a new one. The staff at curry’s also agreed that this should be the case and put it in the report to be sent off with laptop for the diagnostic test. Team knowhow repair and ignored this, gone ahead and repaired it and are refusing to provide me with a new laptop.
The staff have said that this is wrong, they have said team knowhow are always doing this and they’re fed up of it.
Team knowhow are breaching the conditions of the contract, they have Mis sold me the insurance, and are acting fraudulently as they are taking peoples money and not doing what they are suppose to be doing.
Being a law graduate I know a lot about contract law, a lot about consumer rights act and know 100% that team know are in serious breach so I will be taking this matter further. You are not fit for purpose, and thousands are being ripped off by you so I will go to great depths to ensure that you are stopped. I know plenty of solicitors who have already offered to take on this case so unless I get what is owing to me, not only will I share this over every social media site going, making Martin Lewis investigate, be contacting trading standards but you’ll also have a legal case brought against you.

Tumbler dryer broken down few months ago engineer ordered 3 parts but when a different engineer came to fit said didn't need motherboard so took it back has was working but broke down again later that day another engineer came out change bottom motherboard but again broke down later that day but said think it's the top motherboard so if it breaks down contact them with this all the part. Now I have to wait 5 weeks for this part I called knowhow to see about our replacement tumble dryer they said I have to ring Hotpoint to get uplift number Hotpoint sale. Nothing to do with us. It's know how but all they do is pass through to one person another to another and then eventually hang up on you I asked to speak to a manager. They said don't talk to me so loud which I wasn't and then hung up again I pay for care and repair cover but they can't do a repair and they definitely don't care and has for Hotpoint who has to wait 5 weeks for there own parts ridiculous just want to if your going to get your machine insuranced or covered DON'T USE KNOWHOW CARE OR REPAIR look for an alternative has I will be doing myself in near future
HAD TO LEAVE 1 STAR HAS NO OPTIONS FOR 0 STAR OR -STARS
Last thing which is annoying is i have to do all the leg work ring KNOWHOW then ring Hotpoint then ring KNOWHOW has they don't seem to communicate with each other I pay KNOWHOW not Hotpoint but I have to do their job for them!!!

Terrible customer service, rude ,no manners. 1 month without our washing machine working . I had a call to say engineer was sick and they couldn't give me an alternative date until he was well. Pathetic excuse for a company. Overseas call centre who severely have no grasp of the English language and continue to talk over me. I will fix the machine myself as I realised this company are totally incompetent. I'm sure il get the usual copy and paste response as an idiot is capable of that !!!!!!

I’d like to post this review because this company abuse customers. They also scam people. I had an issue with appliance that I purchased. I tried to extend the warranty through the process of sending them cheques. They DELIBERATELY rejected the cheque because they wanted my card details. They tell lies after lies after lies. I would strongly please advise do not use this company ever or you’ll wish you hadn’t. This company will make your life a living nightmare. They are not to be trusted, the customer service is absolutely diabolical to say the least. Rude, argumentative & poorly trained staff. The company is an absolute joke & complete waste of time. I hope & pray this company goes bust because they do not deserve any customers. My advice save your money & put it in the bank. If anything goes wrong with your appliance, replace it or pay to repair it yourself. It will be a lot cheaper & you will save yourself a fortune in the long run. Don’t be fooled into think you will have peace of mind because this company just wants your money!

Recently my TV has developed issues with the screen but after having the unit for almost 5 years I wasn't overly surprised. Due to this I went to my local Curry's to discuss new options where it was highlighted that when I originally purchased the TV I took out the care and repair policy which I had subsequently been paying for every month. I was asked to contact the team at KnowHow to get the repair arranged and this is where the problems started and have continued to this date.
After speaking to 4 separate agents being promised call backs/wrong details sent/lied to/delivery dates cancelled and rebooked we had a date (which wasn't convenient for us) booked in for collection. I was also promised a call from a Senior manager the next day who apologised profusely for the service I had received, reconfirmed the collection details and said if there were any further problems to leave a message and he would personally call me back.
Collection day arrived and my wife had altered her schedule to make sure that she was available for the 4 hours that were allocated. 4 hours past and no contact had been made. We therefore called to discuss what was happening and after 15 minutes of being kept on hold we were informed that they were not coming to collect it as they didn't have enough boxes. I asked why we weren't contacted to which the agent replied we could easily take the TV into store ourselves. Two further calls the following day to try and get in touch with the manager who assured me he would call me back and have had no contact since.
After 12 separate calls (all of which are charged) for a service which I have paid for consistently every month I can safely say that this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Complete waste of time and money.

Brought a washing machine in April 2023 so still under warranty. Called for an engineer and offered a visit then sorry no engineers in your area. 5 days later still no engineers and have tried all local companies (supposedly). So how long we gonna be without a washing machine with a child under 5 and no laundrette in the area.
Awful service and won't be buying from Currys again
They can have the bloody machine back

Rang Team Know How and spoke with Junior regards issues I had with my mobile in particular an email. Junior was extremely patient and helpful an asset to the company
Have knowhow plan on most white goods, my washing machine has broken it has taken 11 days for a service engineer to attend and order a part, next visit is booked for 13days later, I was sold a 7 day repair plan by the store team, had to wait the 7 days to request for a replacement machine to be told it will be delt with by the claims team will take 72 working hours. Very disappointing service

I am so angry right now. I had an engineer appointment for an extended warranty booked for the 26/09/23. This appointment was cancelled by the engineer and rescheduled for today, 28/09/23 only to just received a message today that it’s been cancelled again and rescheduled for the 5/10/23. This service is totally unprofessional and disgusting. I called their number and cannot get through to anyone. I’m paying for the service and getting no response as to why cancel my appointment twice.

0 Stars if I could, been paying for extended warranty for a tv that has a fault and keep getting fobbed off, avoid them like the plague and do not buy from Currys who they do the extended warranties for.

Decent repair service, took care of my old laptop for years and fixed every issue. I trusted them after that so I decided to stay with them when I moved to a MacBook and iPad.

Absolutely hopeless service and when I called to complain I was passed from pillar to post and even ID mobile! I would like to complain about a dishwasher repair that took place on 15 Sept.

What an absolutely useless service. Got an email that they wanted to start charging £50 a year so I wanted to cancel. Whereas other services let you just press a cancel button, these want you to fill out a form with postcode used when taking out the service. I’ve moved a huge number of times in the last 10 years! I’ve had this service for years. Do you think I could talk to anyone? Nope. Online person sent me number, the number gave me endless options which were nothing close to what I wanted help with. Absolute con.

Samsung Curved 55inch TV was picked up on Thursday 31st September to be either repaired or replaced as insurance we pay for stated. After my husband and myself noticed the top tight corner of the screen was yellow instead of whit and also a white flash at bottom of the screen on right hand side had started to get bigger to the point it was affecting viewing, we called team know how and pick up was arranged.
The tracker they sent me via text was not working over the weekend and still no change Monday 4th September. I called them to ask if it had arrived and whether it was being replaced or repaired. Was told they had assessed it that morning and it was to be repaired. I was over the moon. I asked what it was they were repairing so my husband had a better idea of what was going on(electrical engineer)
She explained it was a single LED that needed replacing. They had ordered it and were waiting for the part but it would be repaired and delivered home on 7th September. Great.
Tried tracker Tuesday 5th No joy again. Called to see if tv had been repaired and whether it was possible to get an earlier delivery as we both work full time and needed to organise someone being able to collect TV.
Was told by the lady over the phone that it had been assessed again and there was no faults need repairing at all. Other than a new part needed called an LPG which she had said had been replaced and all working order.
I asked what this was for and she was unable to explain. She then went on tob say they had ordered the part and were waiting for it to come. But assured me TV would be home the Thursday 7th.
I was again left feeling confused as in one sentence it didn't need repaired, they had replaced something to we need to order a part. Complete waste of time.
I can't understand what the TV was assessed for the 2nd time around after it was assessed the first time.
The customer service over the phone is absolutely terrible. They have you on hold forever then give you as little and confusing into as possible then end the call.
The Web chat is jsut as bad. They have tou on there waiting ages for a reply. Then it gets to a point where you think they aren't going to respond then you check your phone a min later and they've responded with a few words that have no use and then leaves the chat. This has happened a number of times and I have the chat backups sent to my email as proof.
From reading many people's experiences on here about their repairs my fear is I am getting lack of info and am going to be no further forward in the days to come.
I just want to know the status of our TV and whether its being repaired, been repaired and when it's coming back. If its being replaced I feel this would be a great way to waste someone's time and delay tatic of the customer getting a replacement.
Also the TV we have theybstopped making 6months after bought our TV. Its 6years old. Whats the chances of them having parts to fix a 6year old discontinued curve screen.
I am going to write a letter og complaint to the Head office after writing this. People can not continue to be treat like this.
Update : 6th September
Tried tracker today to see if tv would be delivered as promised tomorrow.
Now saying won't be out for delivery tomorrow as parts needed to fix the TV have been ordered and haven't arrived so unable to complete repair .
Decided to go to local store to see if they could help and explain what situation is and what we are entitled to do about it.
The lady we spoke to (,kingston park branch) was brilliant. Knew what she was talking about and gave us the correct information.
She listened and understood.
She then printed out all telephone conversation notes . She was just as confused as we were.
In the note there was numerous parts ordered and then marked down as damaged on arrival. They had also noted they have damaged several things within the tv whilst trying to fix it and had to use substitute parts to fix.
We were legally entitled to a replacement tv today but decided to wait til the Thursday to see if our TV came back.
6th September -very late afternoon
Within 5mins of us leaving the store we had a text message to say the tv couldn't be delivered as it was unrepairable and they had very kindly decided to offer us vouchers to go and buy a new one.
Great ! Then realised we now have to wait a further 3 days to reveal what this magical figure of what they are so generously giving us is.
So are potentially looking at 11 days no tv all going well.
Whilst under their care and protect plan that says 7days and you will get a tv replacement
Also should add replied to response I had on trustpilot via their preffered method. Awaiting response.
Not holding much hope.
6th - recieved a response that was totally unhelpful as expected

Sent My Lenovo Legion 5 to repair my audio jack as it was squeaking. A few days after receiving it, they factory reset my system without a backup or my permission as well as introducing a new issue; my fans started to act unusual compared to it before the repair.
I would highly recommend giving it to your manufacturer's service provider rather than these people.
