What a joke

What a joke
We handed our additional Foxtel box in because I got fed up with the faults and problems
Decided to give it another go
Account is in my Uncles name, no D/Licence, no passport, no mobile or email address, he’s 86
They have my ex g/f details on there from years ago
I can’t cancel it, can’t change to my details and can’t get another top box because my Uncle can’t be varified by talking with him, address, D.O.B etc !

I had a pleasure to deal with Kevin…

I had a pleasure to deal with Kevin from Altona Gate - Telstra shop. As I had a lot of problems with my i-phone and opening my yahoo mail.
I have been dealing with him for the last few days who assisted me with my i-phone and open my yahoo mail.
Kevin was very helpful, persistent in finding the write way to solve my phone problems as I'm and elderly customer, he reassured me at all times that he will find a solution. And he did, I'm very greatful for his help and highly recommend his services.

My phone has lost internet reception …

My phone has lost internet reception since Feb 2 it has run slow and a lot of times there was not enough speed and it timed out , said I was off-line I waited from then til today for telstra faults to get back . I got a call that rang 3 times hung up, then 3 min later I took call , my phone went flat I turned it on then it rang again on the 3rd ring I answered then call dropped out , I've been unable to stream using my data because service is so slow. Telstra is not interested in helping . I never received call back following , no resolution call

Sana from Werribee Plaza Telstra store…

Sana from Werribee Plaza Telstra store was amazing. She helped me with my mobile issues and was very friendly. Definitely would recommend speaking with Sana if available.
Telstra need more employees like Sana who take the time to listen.

I've been with Telstra for over 20 years!

I've been with Telstra for over 20 years and they are absolute junk. I signed in on the website for a new phone to add to my current plan as my last one broke and needed it urgently for work. My mate who works part time at telstra told me they have 2x phones in this particular store. I cant get through on the phone as the AI just answers and puts you to message bank but nobody calls you back and if I try to add just the phone online it only works if I add a NEW plan! If i try to keep my old one it says Login - Remember I'm already logged in here! so I click login and we go right back around to the beginning to start the process again! Complete lack of respect for their customers time I say!

NO PHONE SUPPORT

I have a phone app on my phone to pay
for stuff. this will be hard to believe but Telstra support is only available during office hours. So apparently things will only go wrong with the app during office hours

Crap internet provider

Absolute disgrace of an internet provider. ANY internet provider is better, you are paying high sums for NOTHING. If you are paying for internet from Telstra you can get the same quality for cheaper or higher quality for the same price. Don’t even get me started on the customer service. You have to have the same conversation over 10 times before you make any progress. Switched from Telstra and never regretted it.

I went in store just before Christmas to purchase my daughter her 1st phone they had a offer I store offer 100k telstra points to new devices and plans I met all requirements as per deal after months of trying to sort it out with them they are mow telling me because they didnt send me a email to invite me to participate in the event they do t need to honour the promotion

My experience with Telstra has been…

My experience with Telstra has been extremely disappointing. I have been dealing with ongoing issues with a faulty iPhone 16 Plus Max, including repeated call dropouts while speaking with clients. This has caused significant stress, anxiety, and harm to my business reputation.

When I raised the issue, Telstra’s response was dismissive. I was offered only two options — both unreasonable — and was told it was a “take it or leave it” situation. At no point was a fair, customer-focused solution offered.

Given Telstra’s premium pricing, I expected a much higher standard of service and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience has shown a lack of empathy and responsibility toward customers. I would not recommend Telstra based on my experience.

Seems I hit the jackpot with Telstra…

Seems I hit the jackpot with Telstra yesterday. My phone was stolen and a temporary old one needed a new sim and my old number. First I made an appointment so I did not hang in a queue indefinitely but was seen at once and on time. Rojita fixed that speedily.
The second problem was an account payment issue. Rojita called in manager Heshan. More complicated but he fixed it cleverly. Both were so pleasant, patient and helpful. I know Telstra is not known as a 5 star company but for me they were worth that.

I consistently receive texts and emails to pay a bill by the 29th of January (today being the 16th of January) before the bill is even due. This is harassment and I would like to complain bitterly about Telstra’s “service” and behaviour.

I went to Macquarie Center, NSW

I went to Macquarie Center, NSW, Australia Telstra shop with a WiFi issue. Customer Service girl came up and said that there is nothing she can do. At that point, I asked for the branch manager to explain my issue further. Then i was introduced to Mark Jenkins.

Mark was excellent, patent and technically savvy. he showed all these skills within first 5 minutes. He was efficient, diagnosed and solved the problem with interest. He certainly went over and above. As a loyal customer over 20 years I would like to see him as a manager, so that many other clients will benefit his technical expertise and efficiency in building a positive relationships.
