​I had an incredibly positive experience with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) recently, all thanks to a staff member, Elly!
​Navigating the dispute application process can be quite stressful and confusing, but Elly was exceptionally polite and patient from start to finish. She took the time to explain the entire procedure and the methods involved clearly, ensuring I understood every step.
​What impressed me most was her efficiency. I was having some technical difficulties with the online application, and Elly managed to figure out exactly what the issue was almost instantly. Her dedication and prompt replies made the whole process much smoother than I expected.

SafeDeposits Scotland Staff Shout-Out

We recently approached SafeDeposits Scotland regarding the making of changes to the landlord and agent data viewable within our respective accounts. Although it was not as straightforward to make these changes as we would perhaps have wished (a number of telephone conversations were required before everything was sorted), Sanaa was very patient and resolute throughout. (When she promised a ‘call back’, this actually did happen!)

we have had no information about was…

we have had no information about was happened to the deposit, which we had asked to be returned to ourselves as the house had been left full of rubbish and filthy, so far it has cost over £5000 in work to get it right. We would never let a house again or use the deposit scheme ever again.

We can see that in this case, the landlord withdrew consent to use our ADR process. When this happens, we issue an email advising that there is a three-month period to initiate court action.

As we have not received any correspondence or evidence to confirm that court action was taken within this timeframe by yourself, the deposit would have been released to the other party in line with our scheme rules.
