System works well for our requirements…
System works well for our requirements and has allowed us to bid on an additional 2 projects in the month we have been utilising this additional sales tool.
Leanne was great at demoing the platform which allowed me to set up my team and show them how to use it.

Much Cheaper providers and better platforms available
Extremely disappointed with Tenders direct and i feel that they have robbed me. They charged me £1400.00 Plus VAT for a years subscription to their platform for tenders alerts. They also try to add on extras like awarded contract alerts and competition alerts for an extra fee, which of course would take the fee even higher although i chose not to add these to my subscription. I now have the same service for all of the above for a fraction of the cost with another provider. £400 Plus VAT for new tender alerts, awarded contract alerts and competition tracking. I'm not sure why Tenders direct think its ok to charge such an excessive amount in comparison to their competitors, they must think they're customers are either stupid or they just don't care. Further more, the service was poor, whenever there was an issue with the information or a link they were not interested in helping and advised that you should contact the buyer for support. The only time they were interested is when your subscription was up for renewal and they wanted more money. Oh and be sure to cancel the auto renew so that you do not get stung with another years subscription should you decide their platform is not for you.

In relation to our price point, at Tenders Direct we read and review every tender to ensure our clients have the best possible chance of finding tenders as the cost of missing opportunities can be detrimental to their business This is one of reasons we bring many new customers onboard from other cheaper platforms. With regards to the issues you had with our customer service, I can see each time you reached out to us, we had your enquiries resolved, your account manager had reached out several times within the year unfortunately they never managed to reach you. When you have issues with any links in the future from your new provider, they will also recommend that you contact the buyers directly as they like us have no control of how the buyers posts and it is a common theme in procurement. The final point on our auto renewal (which is an industry standard), however as per your request your account had been marked to not auto renew and was communicated through multiple emails. I would love the chance to discuss this further over a phone call as we are always looking to improve customer experience through good or bad feedback. Tenders are to vague on specification…the SIC Codes are a blunder buster approach

In relation to vagueness of the specifications, that is not something in our control, that would be up to the buyer who writes the advertisement, for further details there will be a link to the full bid documents.
SIC codes are not used in the public sector by the buyers to try and highlight elements of a tender. They may use CPV codes, these can be extremely generic and most times the buyers would use the wrong code, this is why we do not rely on using these codes to search for tenders.

Just joined our organisation in April and added to Tenders Direct as a new company user. Received an email straight away from our account manager introducing herself and then offering an online training session.

Advanced Bid Writing
I took part in Advanced Bid Writing and found it really useful. Jamie provided great tips on how to structure bids and make them easy to read for assessors as well as how to dissect tender documentation to structure the best possible answer. I would recommend this for anyone who is new to bid writing or a seasoned professional that wants to brush up on their skills. Our group was mixed in terms of experience, and I found it really useful learning from my peers within the session.
