Dishonest Service
I placed an order with Toolshack UK Limited, and it was far from a pleasant experience. The order was placed on Friday, 9th August 2024, at 11:58 AM. I paid £4.99 + VAT for P&P, with the expectation of delivery within 1-3 working days, meaning I should have received it by the following Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
When I called on Wednesday for an update, I was informed that the order was being dispatched that day and would arrive the following day. However, by Monday, 19th August 2024, the order still had not arrived. I called again and was told that the representative would contact the carrier to obtain a tracking number and call me back. I immediately suspected dishonesty, as they should have had the tracking number on hand. An hour later, I had to call back myself, only to be told that the delivery would arrive by 14:00 that day. The representative claimed the package had been sent the previous week but was returned to them. I requested a copy of the tracking number and am still waiting for it. When I asked for a refund on the P&P, I was dismissed.
14:00 came and went without any delivery, so I called again around 15:00 and spoke to Johnathan. He repeated the same story but assured me that the parcel would be delivered the next day before 10:00 AM. He even had the nerve to mention that sending the item pre-10:00 was costing them more, despite clearly knowing they had messed up the order. When I told Johnathan about my experience, he offered me 25% off my next order. Given what I've been through, I wouldn't want to shop with them again.
Before making these calls, I had sent four consecutive emails, none of which received the courtesy of a response.
