Yet again my order included 1 out of date pack of watercress, 3 packs of pitta that had only 1 day left to use by .
And 5 unavailable items ! Broccoli ! Chicken wings! Soft drinks! Mineral water 500ml . I can understand items being unavailable. But why send a packet of watercress that was out of date at the day of delivery at 7pm !
And I ordered 5 packs of thin pittas 3 of which expire in 5 hours of delivery
And within 24 hours. Obviously the pickers and packers don’t care !
Even though I left a note asking for no short dated items. This happened almost every order for a year now !
Time to switch to another supermarket
Tesco simply can’t give professional service! Order 6321-8713-78
I’ll get another message from Zoe at customer no service
Tescos and ransid food
One of the worst supermarket experiences I have had. I purchased onions, garlic and sweetcorn from the Hinckley Tesco Superstore and found that the produce was already off. The quality was completely unacceptable. As soon as I realised the condition of the food, it went straight in the bin.
Fresh food should be fit for consumption. There is no excuse for selling produce that is deteriorating or spoiled. Customers rely on supermarkets to maintain basic food quality standards, and on this occasion Tesco failed badly.
The onions were off, the garlic was off, and even the sweetcorn appeared rancid. This has left me with no confidence in the store's quality control. I will not be shopping at Tesco again and cannot recommend it based on my experience. Tesco needs to take a serious look at its food handling, stock rotation and quality standards. ZERO Stars
Unreliable home delivery
Unreliable home delivery, inconsistent updates. Kept pushing time back and then all tracking stopped and driver was a no show! Wouldn’t recommend
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Great food. Good value for money.
Wanting to pay cash…
Was in the tesco crediton store arround 1pm. Went to pay for my shopping as usual in cash when a bleep went off the cashier said oh you've paid with card. I said no I want to pay by cash I'm on a budget. Og I cannot do a refund THE TILL WONT ALLOW ME TO DO THAT. she said you will need to go to customer service. I explained the dituation at customer service who was very annoyed with my situation. I said sorry do you want to serve the others first she said I'm serving you abruptly. I said do what you need to do then for me to pay cash. She then said I cannot refund weighed items the till won't let me do it . I exclaimed this is unbelievable I just want to pay cash. We cannot do some items and some we can. Its crazy the customer is right does not exist anymore it's unbelievable that I cannot pay cash once the computer has read my card which in fact remained in my purse. Added to this I had told the cashier to refund an apple which looked bad and I did not want. When I got gome it had not been refunded even though I did not take the apple. I'm sorely dissappinted with tesco superstore of crediton.you need to clean up your act and respect your customer's who keep you in work.

Wanted to give a minus score but cannot. Bought something on Tesco market place. Each member of staff gives different information aircooler never delivered but trader marks it as delivered.
Seller never responds to messages or answers phone and Tesco customer services is smothered in red tape to protect their traders and not their customers.
I have just come out of hospital after major surgery and they have reduced me to tears on two cases now.
TESCO YOU ARE A JOKE give me my money back
Visited the said store today 2/1/2026 at 7.30am
Visited the said store today 2/1/2026. I said I would not use it again for the chit chat that goes on about customers, but could only get the item I wanted from this store. A member of staff bonny lady with short dyed grey hair. Looked at me and started saying something about me,I have no idea why,but I wish they would stop it. Most staff are very pleasant seems to be older staff that have been there a while and think the store runs for them.
Order did not arrive
Ordered a Gazebo through Tesco marketplace, what a total nightmare. A day after delivery date expired i called Tesco to only be fobbed off being told I have to wait a further week to get my money back, I will never use them again for marketplace items.

I am disabled with kidney failure and MGUD((joints and blood flow problems). And to top it all off I went on holiday recently and slipped on the apartment floor and broke both wrists!!!! I had delivery today from the meadows Sandhurst. My delivery man was called Steve. He had a name badge saying Nutty! I questioned it and he said that was what he was known as at work. I had thrown bags down the stairs and Nutty loaded them all up for me and stacked them on my stair lift so I could transport them upstairs by remote control. He was possibly the best delivery driver I have ever had. Kind understanding and patient. Thank you so much from a very loyal Tesco shopper. Thank you Nutty
On-going problems with home deliveries ......
On-going problems with home deliveries with regard to short duration items, and very poor quality fruit and veg. I am a disabled customer and can no longer do my shopping in-store and have repeatedly given feedback to Tesco about this. It improves for a couple of weeks, then goes back to the same old same old. Just had to throw my broccoli away again today - it had a use by date of 02/06/26 but was yellow and going brown today (01/02/26), despite being kept in a fridge since delivery on 29/5/26 late pm. Also noticed recently that certain items are "out of stock" despite being on offer, eg Tesco Belgian Chocolate eclairs x 4, so haven't been able to order them for the duration of the offer - just bet they will be available again after the offer ends tomorrow! It really feels like home delivery customers are being used as Tesco's dumping ground, as it obvious that stores are prioritising stocking their shelves over home deliveries when it comes to the freshest produce and offers - it is disgraceful, and means that people like me end up throwing so many items away, or worse, going without. So, so unfair. Do something about this Tesco - please!
TESCOS RUMP STEAK IS A BUM STEER Overall delivery to the home is very…
Overall delivery to the home is very good, prompt and friendly. Our very real issue is paying for extremely poor rump steaks (in particular) selected by Tesco shopping staff who appear to have no knowledge of the chain’s products. Time and time again, after complaining and receiving prompt refunds, the lack of quality and sometimes, as today, usability of the TESCOS rump steak product is insulting and abominable. The “pickers” obviously either lack training or empathy. Their efforts and product selection skills reflect the indifference of uneducated teens raised on Big Macs and cardboard Pringles. Actual food cannot be part of their growing experience. Avoid purchasing any cut of meat via the employment of TESCOS “pickers”that is intended for human consumption, or the consumption of dogs or cats if you love your pets. In fact any meat eating teen in your household would rather you took your chances with any random takeaway. ALSO the packaging was broken leaking blood which suggests the product was no longer sealed and safely hygienic! VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL.
Year out of date skin care product
Giving another review because I've just realised after getting a rash on my face that in my last big order with tesco, they sold Aveeno cream for sensitive skin which was one whole year out of date. It was on special offer and now I know why. When I phoned to complain they offered me a £5 goodwill gesture and said they'd pass the information on to the relevant team. Seriously, that's how much Tesco care about it's customers.
The agent was more concerned about me giving feedback for the call and said to remember that the feedback is for the call and not about the product they had sold me. They just want you off the phone as quickly as possible patting you on the head with a voucher as if you should be grateful. When I voiced that I wasn't pleased with the outcome because I have a red raw rash on my face, the agent just advised I should see a doctor about it. One more reason to never shop with them again. Check for expiry dates on skin products.
Disappointed
Recently had a home delivery from Tesco.com. The milk I ordered had a 6+ days shelf life advertised however the milk received expired the day after receiving. Fresh fruits were of unsatisfactory condition and part of the order was out of stock. Looks like Tesco.com are trying to shift all unwanted store items to home delivery. Very disappointing.
Avoid cashing in clubcard points for hotel stays.
Tried over 2 days to use clubcard points vouchers on a Hotel booking. Impossible. Phoned clubcard twice, nice agents but no real help. They offered different advice. The second guys best effort was I was doing something wrong, but he could no say what. The outcome is the points are useless and I had to pay full price for the booking. Highly frustrating. I've tried this three times with different bookings. 1 worked fine. 2, had to cancel, no charge from the hotel but the voucher was lost. 3. Seems to be no way to get the voucher to be recognised by the system. £70 more than I expected. Thanks Tesco. still have the voucher valid for a few months but will have to try and use it on another hotel another time, if I need one and if it works !
Where is the stock Tesco?
The last 3 visits to Tesco store Lee Mill the shelves have been empty, and I mean empty, just empty boxes where the stock had been. The store seems to be very untidy because of this and there are more staff collecting online shopping than customers. The staff doing the online shopping seem to think they have priority over customers and won't let you past or park their trolleys in front of the stock that the store does have. We have decided to visit Lidl or Aldi tomorrow rather than waste our time visiting a store that has no stock.
Tesco New Milton, New Forest
This is about Tesco, New Milton in the New Forest. The second time in 3 weeks there have been no shopping trolleys available as they had not been collected from the car park areas. Over the vegetable aisle/dairy aisle one of the LED strip lights is faulty and is flashing. This has been faulty since before Christmas 2025. Quite a few of the shelves are empty or items are at the back of the shelves, inaccessible to those under 6 feet tall. i was approached by 3 separate people today to get these items. There were many items not available unless customers opened New boxes of goods stored at the back of shelves. some were just empty. This is not a one off. Staff at this store are polite and pleasant but I guess the management are trying to run this store on a shoestring.
