The last 3 visits to Tesco store Lee Mill the shelves have been empty, and I mean empty, just empty boxes where the stock had been. The store seems to be very untidy because of this and there are more... See more

I have been a Tesco shopper for many years.but lately I have been getting stressed out when shopping as they do not keep enough tills open for people who do not want self service....I find it exhausting after having picked up your shopping to use the self service
It is not wanted by most older people and that is including myself.... .ok for the younger generation.... . Please think again for all your customers
Rip-off
They should take responsibility for their carpark. We were fined £70 for a technicality after using the shop and staying within the time limit.

It only rated 1 star as it doesnt allow for none. Tesco customer service is shambolic the call centres are thousands of miles away and they call females Paul or Pau there. I really did feel like jumping off the viaduct after this conversation with that ejit. Anyway, please use this and stay clear of tesco mobile
So expensive compared to Aldi and Lidl!

Tesco is an absolute joke
Prescot Tesco is an absolute joke. They have 1 staffed checkout open when it’s busy. Most of the checkouts are self serve which I refuse to use 1. I’m not employed by Tesco 2. It’s depriving someone of a job. Management must be raking in the bonuses instead of paying staff. I wouldn’t shop at Tesco if I didn’t go shopping for my mother.
poor service and poor customer service
I recently contacted Tesco regarding a delivery for 12-1pm that was over two hours late. I was informed that the driver had experienced an accident and that my groceries would now be delivered at some point after 7:30pm... making it a delay of over 6.5 hours. When I enquired about the timing of the accident, I learned it occurred AFTER my original delivery time! It was already late, so now its 6 hours later!
This situation has left me very frustrated, as no message was sent, no information at all not on the site or app. I wasted 10 minutes trying to find a number to call. I feel I am being penalised and find it hard to believe they couldnt put my order onto the next delivery in my area or, at the very least one sooner than 7 hours!
While the representative I spoke to expressed his apologies and mentioned he consulted with a manager, I found the interaction unsatisfactory. When I requested to speak to a manager directly, I was informed that the person I was speaking to was a manager ... are you or aren't you not a manager? If so, it's concerning. Additionally, I felt the service I received was lacking in both professionalism and courtesy.... even told me off a tad -shame on him! Im unable to go to the store and do not need attitude when I say I'm unsatisfied – they certainly took my money! Which will take a few days to return....
Given this experience, I wouldnt bother with Tesco delivery, while it's clear that Tesco likes its profit, it doesn't seem to care about inadequate service or poor customer service.
Skin saints serums
I am59 years old I’m female and have started using skin saints serums from Tesco at £4 a bottle for vit c and hyaluronic acid and I can’t believe the difference they make they smell lovely and make such a positive and visual difference to my skin I don’t understand why some people left review saying hyaluronic acid smells really bad because that’s not the case I’m absolutely buzzing with these products and especially the price because I’ve used high end brand serums which I can’t afford anymore so I think I’ve found a gold mine with these products and truly hope they continue to sell them
Who's lives matter?
Visited the Forest Hill Tesco Express location yesterday and the little short one with blond hair, ponytail that works there was talking to someone near the staff back room bit, near where the toilets are and I heard her use the term "it's not just black lives that matter, all lives matter" which has put me off ever going in there again to be honest
I visit my local Ingleby Barwick Tesco…
I visit my local Ingleby Barwick Tesco several times a week. Lately I noticed a lot of empty shelves & freezers. I thought it must be an issue with deliveries, hot weather etc.
However I spoke to a member of staff as there was not any Swede, avocados for 3 days running.
He told me they do not have enough staff and there was plenty of supplies in the stockroom.
Apparently since the minimum wage has raised they cannot afford to pay staff.
I find this absolutely ridiculous. Tesco must be making millions of profit and there is a massive shortage of jobs for young people. They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Marks & Spencer and Aldi don’t seem to have this issue.
I will be shopping elsewhere now rather than a wasted journey for fresh items.
Let Down
After 18 years of online shopping I feel compelled to send in a review. Tesco online shopping when I started was brilliant but recently has become frustrating with constant you can no longer increase this item things discontinued its no good to me. I feel this is all about profits not the customer who gives them the profits. Market place needs looking at never did get what I ordered and we should be able to get this all under one roof. The only good thing about online shopping is the delivery driver who are always nice and helpful. please Tesco sort this out I am not the only one who thinks this because I am not far away from going somewhere else. Look after your customers.
Whoosh
Whoosh - seriously, why do Tesco, why do you bother with this.? Great store, but with this service on many occasions, I've put a dozen or so everyday items in my basket, get to checkout and always find a vast majority of them arnt available. It's a service that really doesn't seem to work.

Tesco profits are excessive.
Tesco profits are excessive.
Tesco prices are exorbitant.
As a nation the population should get together and boycott Tesco and similar moneygrubbing companies.
Home Delivery GOOD FOR ME
Surprised at the negative reviews My last visit was very good staff helpful & polite.
This is my 2nd review this time regarding home delivery as i am disabled. Some dates are a little short BUT 95% SPOT ON. MAYBE 1 ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT. Drivers are always polite & helpful. So far 4 deliveries ALL GOOD. MEET the minimum purchase for free delivery and pick a BARGAIN delivery spot. All done for a couple of quid? Cant go wrong really. HAPPY DAYS...
Bought meat from Tesco and made to feel like a shoplifter
self checked and paid for a large bag of shopping at Tesco Winchester. Left the store and was hauled back to have my bag emptied and inspected. Was made to feel like I had been caught shoplifting. Apparently a meat item triggered an alarm. Asked to see manager but none turned up. No apology. Don't buy meat from Tesco if you don't want to have this kind of experience.
Easy and helpful
Suppliers are not always Tesco but other companies who have your data
With a recent delivered order, there were companies I have never heard of supplying goods ordered from Tesco. Tesco are a principled company (I lived over the oringinal Tesco in Bootle!) so do have a long 70 year association. But this recent order, with its discrepancies, rather means other orders will go to Waitrose. Sorry about that but too many unexplained missing items and just rather dented faith in Tesco.
Non Mayo sandwiches
Today I saw that Tesco now do sandwiches which have no Mayo, the packet says just ham cheese and butter. For years my wife has gone without as every sandwich in most places were just Mayo. So this is a great step forward and will make us use Tesco more.
Nice one Tesco many people do not like Mayo.
Awful service
Awful service, site glitched and ended up processing the order twice despite showing a message that order was not processed. Realised the order was placed when I received two emails. Could not cancel as supplier details were incorrect on Tesco's website and cannot get my money back. A total scam. Would definately not recommend tesco to anyone.
