Thames Valley police is an extremely…

Thames Valley police is an extremely corrupt organisation. They fabricated evidence and concealed evidence to get a drunk driver off with running over a pedestrian. They lied about the facts and refused to take any statements from the victim's witnesses.
When a complaint was lodged against them, they investigated themselves and covered everything up.
The police complaints commission is as corrupt as the Police themselves.

Would give no stars if I could.

Would give no stars if I could.
Case got pulled for silly reasons.
Let a violent man off with nothing and actually classed him as a victim when he endangered my children!!!
On top of this he admitted my claims and I was waiting two days for forensics that afterwards they told me they did not even need!!!
Traumatised as it were… don’t think il ever report anything again. I’m glad I’m out of bucks! Good luck guys!!

Worse than useless

Worse than useless. I feel more traumatized by the TVP than the violent offender I tried to report.

completed a review 5 days ago about TVP…

completed a review 5 days ago about TVP complaints department; had an email repeating a complaints number that is automatically assigned when you make a complaint; then stating someone will be contact in due course; they also state there is no time periods to adhere to with the IOPC; under the old system of the PCA there were strict time frames for dealing with public complaints........disgraceful attitude .....I will continue to update this review with their action

Every day we here about knife crimes…

Every day we here about knife crimes and kids getting stabbed to death and other types of murders.
Houses getting robbed . Go to highwcombe and there racing around in there super cars and go to chesham
There also racing around in Lamborghinis in groups and other super cars and none of them have got number plates on.!!!!!!
Robberies going on theiving going on and where's thames valley police.??
There all in a little group and stopping people like me a 53 year old in my pride and joy vw t5 and giving me a ticket thats means i get 3 points and a fine because they say my window tints are too dark.
They have been on there 3 years and ive not had a problem.!!!!
But because thames valley police have obviously got spare time on there hands i have had too have my window tints removed and im absolutely gutted because it has ruined the overrule look of my pride and joy..
And the police wonder why most of the general public hate them.
Just go and do some rea crime solving.!!!!!!!

Shockingly bad

Shockingly bad. The front line are probably doing a good job - fair play to them but from Inspector level upwards there are serious organisational issues. They operate a 'you can always raise a complaint' culture as if it's just another day in the office. You have to keep on at them to get anywhere (and I mean years) and a lot (not all to be fair) of the departments are liked dazed wasps. Avoid if you possibly can, your life will be happier. If we all stay quiet nothing will change hence this review - I take no pleasure in it...

No understanding or sympathy

Have just spoken to Thames Valley Police to report a covid breach. Wouldn’t normally do this but a neighbour is literally having a rave and not only are they breaching covid restrictions but the volume of the music is horrendous and keeping my children and myself awake and as I can’t go to ask them to turn it down myself I’m at a loss as to what I should do, so called them for help. I didn’t get any, not even a kind word. The person told me that they won’t investigate a breach unless I can confirm that I have counted 30 or more people at the address, obviously pretty difficult to do unless I was actually there, so I told him there must be more than 30 but that I couldn’t physically count, and he said that wasn’t good enough so it won’t be investigated. When I told him how awful the noise was he was so unsympathetic and just said “we’ll it’s Saturday night so you should expect noise” clearly not appreciating how bad it is! He didn’t even try and understand how desperate I feel, having two small kids awake so late and not being able to escape the noise anywhere in my house to get the kids back to sleep! He just continued to be condescending and told me there’s no law that stipulates time restrictions for noise and I should understand it’s the weekend and that people will have parties! When I told him I felt that he wasn’t being very sympathetic or helpful he said I was being rude!!! So disappointing.

Waste of money paying Thames Valley police

Banbury Thames Valley police for 2 1/2 years we live on the Middleton Road we reported many vehicles that belonged to a different property that were from a foreign culture when we approach them and told them that they could not park there all day and all night it is only a 30 minute zone they looked at me and said don’t speak English after approaching the police the police then fobbed it off to the local council because I couldn’t be bothered I approach the council and my wife did then the council said it is not our responsibility it is the Thames Valley local police after approaching them again 34 times the rudeness from staff on the telephones there in mannered behaviour the way they interact you don’t let you talk then it gets funnier a police car arrives outside goes to a different property the same for cars parked out there 3 1/2 hours the guy goes in 45 minutes into the property he then comes out looks at the vehicles then gets in his car and drives off nothing done we pay taxpayers money but idiot a child could do a better job than them Muppets all they’re interested in is juicy murders juicy drug deals and arresting people why bother having signs on the road saying you can’t park because nobody gives a monkeys they are a waste of space they hide behind cars they hide behind lorries and they hide behind houses all they’re interested in screwing you the police force sorry in Surrey I’m much better they don’t tolerate this stupid behaviour they would’ve dealt with it obviously Thames Valley don’t train the staff very well if it was me I wouldn’t bother

Hopeless

I wouldn’t trust these PUBLIC SERVANTS!!

I was arrested for walking home one evening I looked “dodgy” I wanted to get home and this women who was behind me was cleary on drugs but there training didn’t kick in and arrest me . The Rhino of a police officer who stamp on my head got away with it . The Sargent thought it was “funny” and cleary allows people to be on drugs . Oh and TVP why did you arrest some of you staff who work in TVP?? Hmmm dodgy... . I didn’t get one court letter nothing and had a bailiff knocking on my door for £500 when I rang the dum people up at TVP they said they sent letters. Yeah course you did!
Only one word for TVP SCUM 👍🏻

Over the years, since the 80s, they have got worse and worse. This year,I reported a moped driver( uninsured)who smashed into my stationary vehicle, and I was.made to fill out an online form about it rather than talk to someone.. Months later ,they admit they know where he lives but can"t spare the resources to go round to his house...
It is so sad and quite terrifying that we have a completely redundant, utterly inadequate police force. How can we cope moving forward? Vigilante groups?

Very rude and arrogant lady who called me regarding a theft I reported , didn’t even let me speak or listened to my side of the story , kept shushing me.

Poor service , said she couldn’t do much and had to close the case . By looking at previous reviews looks like Thames valley police has a reputation for this very poor service indeed

no wonder crime is high

no wonder crime is high. we had some 10 year olds spray our cars with stuff. 40 min before this, they were in the road on there scooters, refused to move making us stop, so we shock our heads at them. then they done this to the cars. contacted the parents as we saw them run off. one parent was good and the lad appoligised for the road thing, both kids total denied it. but got there story wrong. the other parent clearly knew her boy done it as lied to us as she said she saw the boys in the road and told them off, after getting our car id wrong. then said her little angle would never do that. but its ok that the 10 year olds play in the road unsupervised ?? great parenting. told the police everything. gave a statement. GUESS WHAT THEY CANT BE BOTHERED TO EVEN GO AROUND AND QUESTION THEM. SO THEY NOW THINK THIS IS OK TO DO, AND THEY WILL BE THE NEXT KIDS CAUSING EVEN MORE CRIME. WELL DOWN THAMES VALLEY POLICE.

The police do not seem to actively do…

The police do not seem to actively do anything for me or my family who have been and are the victims of some quite serious and violent and escalating crimes. No correspondence or actioning taken when something does happen which is very disturbing. Hats off to those of the police force that do try as I feel some of them care.
I have by and by been on the receiving end of their justice even having done nothing in any crime being the victim in some cases. I think possibly a tactic is to fob you off long enough so that it gets swept under the rug as I am still trying to make a complaint to the police CQC, having two bikes stolen and convicting one of the thefts and being told the guy would only get charged for the other offences and just filled away I thought shocking and have heard many other similar cases. But on the other hand can you blame them for having to deal with the scum of the earth on a daily basis.

Very unhelpful and unsupportive

Very unhelpful and unsupportive. Basically, said their time was too precious to waste on my case and spending time on it has already wasted money. Accussed me of lying despite having brought the case to their attention, implying I was guilty until proven innocent. Not sure that their budget cuts should mean that they do not investigate crime. No wonder trust in the police is low.
