Just spent a few days at THB Lanzarote…

Just spent a few days at THB Lanzarote Beach. The staff are amazing, going over and above to please, nothing is too much trouble. Went all inclusive and the food was excellent with a wide variety to suit most tastes. The evening entertainment took me back to my youth and I really enjoyed it. To summarise, this is a hotel I would come back to without hesitation

SCAM SUSPECTED AT THB ROYAL PLAYA BLANCA will update if they deign to speak with me!

On Feb 6th our flight back to the UK was cancelled by Easy Jet and we were given a choice of hotels to book into for the night, free of charge. Having booked in on the EJ app to the THB Royal whilst still at the airport and receiving confirmation that we were booked in, we arrived with around 40 other people and queued for around an hour and a half waiting to be checked in. At almost midnight, having seen only about 5 groups being checked in, the 30 or so of us were told that they were full but the man on reception would call and try to find other hotels nearby. He then reported that everywhere was full and that we could either wait in their reception area for the night or try elsewhere ourselves.
We were fortunate enough enough to rebook into the H10 Rubicon where we had been staying for the week but obviously had to pay the nightly rate of around 258 pounds! To claim this expense, Easyjet are asking for proof that the THB Royal could not acommodate us.
No problem, or so we thought!!! Despite many calls and emails, the THB have been evading our request for verification. Today, they finally said that they could not provide this confirmation and conveniently cut me off! We cannot understand why they are being so utterly unhelpful. We are about to take this up with Easy Jet as we are now wondering if they have pocketed the money from Easy Jet for our stay. We cannot see any other reason for their flat refusal to help. I will be updating this and will ensure that we get to the bittom of this!
I would just add that our previous hotel was beautiful, this hotel had a really shabby reception, glad we were not staying there for our week's break.

Hotel THB Royal in Lanzarote.

Hotel THB Royal in Lanzarote.
Everything is pretty great including service and staff. However don’t stay here if you want to sleep past 8 am. Every single morning if it’s not the active construction they’re doing on the room below then it’s the leaf blower on full blast. I appreciate the work needs to be done but why don’t they at least start at 9 am or maybe invest in some double glazed windows because it’s a bit ridiculous.

I stayed at Hotel THB Gran Bahía and got to say was a good experience, breakfast wasn’t great but wasn’t bad eggs were cooked fresh how you like them, coffee machine was good, everything was fresh, just the sausage but like most hotels though to be fair only get good sausage when you go out to eat. But the room and staff fantastic, would stay again.

THB Hotels are doing overbookings

THB Hotels are doing overbookings - and “compensate” by sending you to lower standard hotels, and offer a free (two) breakfast.

Fair enough to do a mistake - but the least you can do is to compensate and fix it in a reasonable manner!!

I strongly recommend NOT to book at THB hotels - I believe there are significant better options in any og their locations!!

Customer service is A1

Customer service is A1, both checking in and throughout week long stay. The cleanliness of the hotel and gardens is immaculate. A great pool area for swimming and a large terrace for sunbathing.
Rooms are modern and comfortable double bed and balcony as standard.
Dining and cruise is healthy and fresh food every day, a superb menu.
Big on sustainability which is another huge plus for looking after our planet.
Having stayed at Lanzarote and now Can Picafort, Mallorca, THB hotels is the best independent family run business in the hospitality industry. Thank you team.

Fantastic Stay at THB Cala Lliteras

I had an amazing stay at the THB Cala Lliteras Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pool and gym facilities were also great, providing a perfect place to relax and stay active. The location is ideal – just far enough from the busy centre to avoid noise, yet only a 5-minute walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Such a fabulous place to stay

Just returned from a short break in the Costa Del Sol and we stayed at THB San Fermin in Benelmadena.
We hopped in a taxi from the airport and it only cost 24 euros, so much cheaper and quicker than a transfer with potentially 100 other people.
The taxi rank is to the right when you leave Malaga airport, you can't miss it.
The welcome we received from the staff on our arrival at the hotel was lovely, we were a tad early and asked if our room was ready and luckily we only had a short wait so we headed to the bar for a much needed cold pint of San Miguel (about 3 euros each).
Our room was on the second floor and we were able to use the lift with our cases which was handy.
On entering our room we were pleasantly surprised, it was very light and airy, modern but simple which is absolutely fine for us.
There was a small fridge (extremely handy for any bottles of beer) and a kettle with a few tea bags and coffee (no milk provided).
We had the Deluxe balcony room and could see the pool but weren't directly overlooking it.
Now the important bit, the food...well what can I say? Wow!!!!
We were half board as it automatically came with our booking.
The dining area is lovely, clean and light and airy.
The food is buffet style so you just go and help yourself.
The food is absolutely amazing!!!!!
Breakfast was delicious, there was always freshly made pancakes (the chef makes them in front of you) eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, cheese, bread, meat, cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit.
It certainly filled us up ready for the day ahead.
They also have themed nights for the evening buffet so we had chinese ,Italian and Moroccan whilst we were there.
There was a huge selection of fresh salad and bread every night, there was also some amazing cheeses and sea food.
Dessert varied every night but there was always beautiful fresh fruit and my hubby was very fond of the sponge cakes.
One thing I have to mention is the dining room staff, they are all absolutely amazing.
They work unbelievably hard and always have a smile on their faces and can't do enough for you.
Please look out for a particular member of staff in the dining area named Cruz, she is absolutely amazing.
We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary when we were staying there and she gave us a miniature bottle of bubbly which was so kind of her ❤️
The staff are such a credit to the hotel ❤️
Location wise the hotel is up what the locals call Cardiac Hill.
It's a bit of a jaunt up but there is a little shop half way up which acts as a good pit stop should you need to catch your breath.
Anyone with mobility issues probably would struggle.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the sea front which is fantastic, once again though there are steps going down to the beach front.
You can walk along the main road though at the bottom and find an easier way down.
You really can't beat the location of this hotel as you can walk for miles, like we did everyday.
The walk to Torremolinos is lovely and you go past the fabulous harbour where there are some fabulous shops and places to eat.

The only downside to the hotel for us was that our room was near the lift so we would hear people alot in the mornings going down to breakfast (it would seem alot of people think it's ok to have a very loud conversation in the corridor at 7.15am) and the same for people coming home in the early hours.
Unfortunately that's what happens in hotels though isn't it.
We can't recommend this hotel enough, we'd definitely stay again without hesitation.

Stayed in the THB Lanzarote end of nov to dec 2022!
Place is lovely, clean and very friendly. One huge main pool and kids pool and one adult only pool with private bar. There are also pools outside some of the rooms, which anyone can use.
Rooms are spacious and clean, little kitchenette with plates, bowls, kettle, cutlery etc.
Used the poolside bar for drinks and snacks, the sex on the beach cocktails where nice and strong. Food was a little cold, but edible.
All in all I would definitely go back.

THB Felip Porto Cristo Majorca

Stayed at THB Felip in the resort of Porto Cristo 25th April - 9th May as a Solo Traveler on Half Board basis.
From day one being greeted by Sara on arrival at reception, viewing room, bar, restaurant, checking out location and getting to know staff was a very good experience for my first day. The resort itself was quiet as it was pedestrianised but busy and had a great outlook to the bay from the hotel.
This hotel, I can safely say, was one of the best I’ve stayed in for location, service, staff, food & drinks and of course quality of room for many a year. Staff were patient as I tried out my Spanish.
Sadly I did not get everyone’s names as the staff were constantly busy and rarely stopped for chat beyond taking food or drink orders, just shows you the popularity of this hotel.
Breakfast & Dinner were buffet style and one of the best I have experienced. Selection of food covered all variables and tastes, you were truly spoilt for choice with everything prepared & presented perfectly. Chef was on hand each meal time adding personal touches to requests like fried eggs, omelette, crepes, steaks etc. I can honestly say I did not need to eat the same thing twice during my stay. My compliments to the chefs.
Drinks, I’m not much of a drinker now but still partial to San Miguel so this was my regular order though I did have wine with evening meals. Bar staff were very attentive and friendly and often went beyond what you would expect. I thank all the bar staff for their service and I hope I showed my appreciation by tipping well enough both bar staff and waiters.
Special mention to Sara, Maria, Claudia and the guys behind the bar. Sara always getting out of her seat and gave full attention to customers enquiries and requests not just my own. Maria, amazed me in the number of languages she spoke with ease. Maria also as did Sara did everything to give a good guest experience, it was well noted.
Claudia served coffee’s as you liked it each breakfast and with a smile even under pressure as it did get very busy at times. Claudia was also very attentive to tables at mealtimes making sure you had all you wanted and corrected other staff mistakes I won’t go into as some I expect were novices or still learning, we all start somewhere.
Thanks to the Night Porter whom I did not get a name and served early breakfast alternative on two occasions with enthusiasm and smile even after I know would be a long night.
All in all this was a great stay, all the staff played a part in welcoming their guests and providing second to none service. I give ***** Thanks guys you all know who you are even if I don’t. I look forward to visiting again.
Todos los mejores chicos, John de Escocia.

THB Tropical lanazarote

Stayed at this hotel in lanazarote it was uwful like a hostel very dirty rooms are derelict with no pitchers or anything kitchen filthy plates, clutery, dirty. Bathroom light didn't work shower stops running, towels had a very funny smell. Pull down bed didnt work it was broken. Restaurant well what can I say disgusting 🫣 plates dirty, greasy food was unedable always cold and not much choice, chef flipping eggs used the same spatular to flip the pancakes, fruit dried out it was unlawful really disappointing. Pitchers are not how the hotel looks nows! and wouldnt call this a hotel more of a holiday village, you have to walk ages to get a drink. Reception staff rude and not helpful 😑 please trust me and don't stay at this hotel it's the worse hotel I've ever stayed at and glad I only booked 3 nights and not a full holiday with them

Excellent getaway

Flew with Jet2 and could not fault airline, staff very friendly and helpful

Stayed all inclusive in THB Tropical Island Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

Hotel was so clean ie grounds and rooms. Layout of hotel but xx fusing to begin with. You have Tropical & Island sections but they are basically mirror image of each other. Rooms we very spacious. Bedroom with safe and built in wardrobe and balcony. Lounge / kitchenette are very spacious. Bathroom has hairdryer and shower over bath. Only criticism with bathroom is the the super glass is fitted to bath is very difficult to lean around to use taps and not ideal with young children.

Towels weee changed everyday and apartment cleaned everyday

Grounds were immaculately kept and staff very friendly.

We went all inclusive which I wouldn’t normally do. Buffet restaurant was very good good selection of food

There are other restaurants but you need to book these

Snack bars available

You definitely need to explore site to know where everything is.

Supermarket on sight

Would definitely recommend but would at in the summer months it is more of a family resort place and is catered more for children. I would not go in summer months if you are a couple

THB Lanzarote

Stayed in the Lanzarote Hotel. There were 14 of us staying for for FIL's 70th, the travel agent was supposed to arrange for us to all be near to each other but when we arrived that was not the case. The family was upset and I spoke with the manager who could not have been more helpful and our rooms were changed and we were all next to each other and gave us extras to cover the inconvenience. It is a big complex and was always clean and tidy and the adults only 50 metre pool and private bar were excellent would stay at again.

I have just had Two weeks in the THB Sa…

I have just had Two weeks in the THB Sa Coma Platja hotel 20/09/2019 to the 4/10/2019 through Jet 2 Holidays ,on arriving the first thing i was shocked at was the Hotels Main entrance ,as its located between a Bag shop and a Kebab shop that was a massive skip a heart beat situation..On going into the Hotel i was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it looked and how clean it felt .I had booked a sea view room but was given a room looking over a rear car park so had to make a real fuss to get moved the next day to a room looking over the sea as was on my booking form.

The Hotel Manager was certainly not at all nice or helpful and only from speaking to staff i found out she was the manager .So being nice helpful from there management is not high on the list .When i booked i was half board but found i was spending a small fortunes on coffee cold drinks ect .so by day 4 paid another 400 euros to go all inclusive as you get most things free as well as all food.On to the food Breakfast is good plenty on offer as such with a chef cooking you fresh eggs if wanted good choices of juices and hot drinks to cater for all ones tastes .The food under the heat lamps was always Luke warm this was the situation at all meal times but there was a microwave there if needed not good ...So all meals are help yourself as are the drinks you have to go and get the drinks you want and if your Half board or under you will pay expect for Breakfast juices and hot drinks .
There is also on offer for all inclusive guests use of there Italian restaurant once per week well Yes hot food same as food in main restaurant great portions and they serve you at the table ..Sadly its all very rushed terrible decor but allows you the escape from the buffet based meals .I did forget to mention there is a chef or two on hand at all meals to cook certain meats ect but the quality of meats was not that good so the wastage i left and others left was very bad indeed. And for lunch and dinner the desserts was mainly Cakes same ones day in got boring .Also had to make sure plates and dishes was clean another big issue ..All these was told to the Assistant manager but they listen and do nothing to improve things.

The pool was okay but always cold not heated so enter slowly unless its so hot in the air and then i guess the water in the pool will improve but when i was there we had days of 32 degrees and still a cold pool . One awesome thing was how close the beach was under 2 minutes through the hotel gate and the beach once all the seaweed was cleared was not to bad just very expensive for hire of sun beds and one umbrella ranges from 30 euros to 16 euros a day for two beds and one sun umbrella .The Hotel entertainment was okay repeated every week unless they managed to get in something new but finished every night at 10.00 pm then the bar closed ,normally well before midnight even after complaining about this the Hotel management dont care turning all out side lights off leaving us guests drinking in the dark.So one good thing was the Kids club run by a fantastic kids entertainer called Pedro Palouhe was just brilliant with the kids we saw in the hotel and also kept most of the adults guests entertained with dance in water ,volleyball ,table tennis ,walk to this old castle near the hotel along the woods by the coast .
The room was not bad the worst sleep in two weeks as bed is so hard the pillows tube shaped so impossible to catch ones sleep on with air con in all rooms. To get clean towels and sheets in rooms only done 5 days a week they need to be thrown in the Bath made wet so there all changed ...Also for a deposit of 10 euros per Beach towel you get a towel to use and keep through the holiday with a 1 euro charge every time you want a clean one.Overall this was meant to be a 4 star Hotel really not more like a good 3 star and sadly not as cheap nice holiday as most staff was lovely there was one very Rude one with massive attitude all the rest not bad ..I cant see my self going back as food sleep so much of a nightmare and these are important to be good to make a person holiday .On speaking with the Jet 2 holiday Rep she just brushed off all issues and certainly was not interested in helping sort anything else to rectify these issues I and most other guests i spoke with, also agreed on food and sleep issues and changing sheets and towels unless tossed into your bath tub.
