6 weeks ago I wrote a review about the mystery bundle that I'd purchase where I received 2 watches, and 2 pairs of sunglasses - EXACTLY the same - no response to that review.... I also purchased a second bundle a couple of days after my original purchase. After multiple emails chasing the delivery of my second order, it's finally arrived.... in that second bundle I received 4 watches .... 3 were exactly the same... so now I'm the not so HAPPY owner of 5 of the same watch, two pairs of the same sunglasses. Tipping the Pink band wasn't a popular item... How does one deem that remotely acceptable !?! Completely understand the possibility of getting the same product across 2 bundles .... but 2 of the same watch and 2 of the same sunglasses in the first package then 3 of the same watch in the second package....
Let's rewind a little, these were purchased back in early November, my 2nd package was only shipped on the 9th December some 3-4 weeks later - no communication to say there was a delay. This was only actioned after my multiple emails chasing my purchase.

Variety in the mystery bundles - .5 (based on my 8 items I have 3 different pieces)
Delivery time -1 (working on the fact they actually arrived, eventually. Even though I had to continually chase)
This once was a good company, I have a watch I've owned for around 5 years. After this experience, I will never purchase from this company again. To avoid disappointment, don't click add to cart! X

Paid a full luxury watch more than 3 years ago, have not received any package from them in this time. They don't respond to any of their contact details.
Be aware or you will lose your money just like I did.

Something has gone very wrong with this business

Shopped from the 5th before with no problems. Placed another order and after two weeks with no shipping notification I contacted them and was told they had supply delays. Two weeks later, a month after I placed my order with still no shipping notification, I contacted them again twice for an update. As yet I have received no response. In the meantime I am still receiving emails with further promotions! The whole thing wouldn't be so bad if the 5th had been in touch with me with updates and offered me something for the inconvenience. Not shipping a month after an order is possibly even a breach of the Australian equivalent of Trading Standards or retail law. I don't know what's gone wrong with the 5th but they appear to have gone from reputable business to complete joke, with terrible customer service. It's very disappointing.
Update as of 29/12/22: finally (and unexpectedly), two months after purchasing I received my order which contained a Mystery Box advertised as $329 worth of goods for $65. Not 'up to' $329 which is key because I received two watches worth a total of $148 full price, $58 in the current sale. And to make things worse, I got two of the literal Exact Same Watch!!! An utter rip off and clearly a scam on the part of the company to get rid of stock no one was buying. Avoid!!!

No product and no refund! Steer clear!

I wish I read these reviews before purchasing from this company! I was able to purchase an out of stock item on line, after waiting for the delivery time to pass (6 weeks) I followed up and was told the item was out of stock. I requested a refund over 3 months ago and I am still waiting, I have received a few emails which always say it’s being processed but still no refund!! Recommend steering clear from this company, I consider this theft!!

Purchased a watch in April for my wife, turns out she already had the same watch. Filled out their Refund form on the website which I got no response from, followed up a week later with an email to them which I got a response from. The watch was never removed from the box and still had the plastic protect on the face. Organised a refund and paid for postage as agreed. They had received the watch and told me that I would receive my refund in 10 business days. That was the first week of July, it is now 2 months later and I have not received my money or heard anything back from them. I have sent follow up emails, messages on Instagram and Facebook and received nothing back. I am now lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria. STAY AWAY!!!

Not refunding for out of stock watch

The watch I wanted was out of stock after I’d paid for it - fair enough.
They tried to offer me a different one - fair enough.
I just wanted a refund.
Three weeks later the refund still hasn’t arrived, initially because of some ‘finance delay’ and now they just don’t bother responding to emails chasing it up.
Will now have to claim through my credit card company, but avoid this hassle in the first place by going elsewhere!!

Horrible service

I ordered watch, they confirmed payment. Later notified that watch was out of stock and offered to choose different one. I refused, as I had my eye on specific model and requested refund. They confirmed that refund will be processed within 10 days. After 2 weeks it was not processed, I wrote email, they did not reply. Communication was horrible, they ignored chasers, if they replied, they made excuses of email disturbances and then continued to ignore with occasional useless replies. Thankfully I got my money back through PayPal. Do yourself a favour and choose different company.

You need to be aware

You need to be aware, The 5th is a marketing company not a watch company. They simply care about moving product, not about the quality or ownership experience. Take your money and buy a watch from a brand that cares about its customers because speaking from experience, The 5th does not.

Their customer support is without a doubt the worse I have ever experience in Australia and although I loved the mechanical watch I purchased I now regret doing so. Do not waste your money, energy or time with this company. Simply look elsewhere

Save your time and money, DO NOT buy from this company! I paid for two pairs back in December of 2021. It is end of March 2022 and I steel have not received either watch or my money back. Horrible customer service!!!!!!

Great watch- poor communication

Great watch- nice packaging. Perfect for a gift (if you aren't in a rush). Not too expensive, but does look luxury for what you pay. Poor communication from the company and don't bother paying express, as they won't ship straight away. I kept on top of them from the beginning though, and love the watch once I got it. I got a future discount code for my inconvenience so all in all- beautiful watches that are sold by people who aren't concerned with proactive customer service. I would shop here again but with lower expectations.

I ordered watch from them on 26.11.2020 and still have not received it today 1.09.2021!!! Are you kidding me??
I left them several messages, my address has changed, and they are NOT RESPONDING. I cannot believe how terrible they are, THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD.
I own already one watch that was given to me as a gift, sadly I dropped and glass smashed and it costs a lot to change ot as they can't just replace the glass they have to break open the whole watch. But oh well wasn't complaining that much, still loved their brand. Decided to order another one from them and then this happened! Do not buy anything from them, paying 100 eur for a watch, not to receive it for almost a year and being ignored by them is sooo over the line. I am so disappointed can't believe I actually have been recommending them to people.

Beautiful watches, fantastic quality.

I have purchased two watches from The 5TH, and both times was so happy with the product and customer service.

I wear my Geneva Valere watch from them every day, and still get compliments! Their team were so helpful when I had questions about how to resize the bracelet strap, and got back to me straight away.

If you're looking for a watch that's amazing quality, and different to the typical brands that everyone else buys, The 5TH is for you.
