I had a wonderful apartment in Seattle through Blueground

I had a wonderful experience renting an apartment for two months in Seattle. It was a great location, a comfortable apartment fully furnished and equipped. Easy move in and out. The onsite management and maintenance folks were great. Blueground support was responsive and helpful. I will very likley use Blueground again.

Stay away from this company

This is one of the most difficult unhelpful companies I have error dealt with. I rented an apartment to move in. On the day of move in, the second party company told me blueground never notified them. My previous contact expired. I asked for help and assistance. I received zero help. I would avoid this company at all costs.

The process was just very smooth…

The process was just very smooth starting from reservation to check out. The place was well kept and they took care of small little details like living home items like soap, dishwasher tablets etc to get you started on day1. Will definitely recommend.

Moving in was great

Moving in was great. I didn’t have a heating in my apt but the company managed it fast and resolved the problem.
Now I’m focusing another problem.
I don’t have enough hot water.
During washing my hair the hot water stopped running and I had only cold 🥶.
I couldn’t finish flush my hair 🤨.

We rented a unit in Madrid for a little…

We rented a unit in Madrid for a little over 6 months. There was a bad start due to failure to communicate on BG’s part, but after that the stay was fine. The apartment is well maintained and although response to maintenance issues wasn’t always timely or convenient, the BG staff did their best to keep us comfortable. I would definitely rent from BG again.

Illegal entry and violation of privacy

They entered the apartment 2 days before our moving-out date without our permission and knowledge and cleaned the apartment for next customer. When I returned to apartment the day before move-out date to take the remaining stuff and leave the keys, I was surprised that the remaining items are missing and apartment has been cleaned. When I emailed that you entered my rented property without my permission, they said: send us the receipt of the items that are missing.

Following your message, we reached out to you for further details regarding the items you believe were missing, but we did not receive a response despite multiple attempts to follow up.

We also contacted the building, and they confirmed that no one from their side entered the apartment.

I had a great experience booking my stay in Seoul through Blueground. The apartment was amazing, exactly as described in the pictures on their website. I really like the communication with my…

I really like the communication with my local Blueground Coordinator. She was very responsive and polite and always resolved any problems in a timely manner. The apartment we stay was beautiful and well maintained. Overall we had a great experience with Blueground!

Poor Customer Service in all fronts

If I could I would rate them with -10. The following is a summary of the failures to date:

Safety and Physical Injury

- Garage Door Incidents: The garage door fell on me twice due to incompetent initial repairs, resulting in physical injury and medical expenses.
- Wall Outlet: A power outlet came out of the wall while in use, creating a significant safety hazard.

Persistent Maintenance Failures

- Unresolved Leaks: Ongoing issues with two leaking roofs, the kitchen sink, and an outdoor water tap.
- Mold/Humidity: Persistent moisture and mold issues that have required multiple inspections without a final resolution.
- Intercom/Doorbell: Repeated failures of the intercom system and doorbell, necessitating numerous technician visits.
- Property Upkeep: Failure to maintain the yard and address safety compliance of the main door.

Customer Service and Coordination Issues

- Poor Communication: I have frequently received automated messages for issues I already addressed and have had to repeat the same information to multiple coordinators.
- Scheduling Inconsistencies: Appointments have been scheduled without my prior consent, and technicians have frequently arrived late or not at all (notably the 2 hour and 40 minute delay on March 27th).
- Inaccurate Record Keeping: Your most recent claim that the intercom issue was due to "improper use" was factually incorrect, as the technician on-site confirmed a technical fault and replaced the unit.
- Administrative Delays: Significant delays and repeated follow-ups were required just to receive basic rental invoices and receipts.

We made continuous efforts to resolve all reported issues as promptly as possible. However, in several instances, access restrictions when you were not present caused delays in completing certain repairs. Compensation was also offered in recognition of the inconvenience caused.

Amazing experience living in a…

Amazing experience living in a Blueground serviced apartment in Polanco. The facilities are very well maintained and everything functions properly. The soundproofing is excellent. The living room and kitchen are spacious, making it great for families with young children. The receptionist is very kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. All in all, a great place for expat families — truly a home away from home.

Frequent, invasive viewings for 3rd parties during our stay

During our paid short let they thought it was appropriate to have 4+ viewings for other tenants in a couple of week period.

They lied and said it was for repairs and now have slipped up and said it is for a follow up tenant viewing.

We have twin 9 month old babies and a 4 year old and they are trying to schedule viewings during the weekend when my children are napping.

They are harassing us with the frequency of the viewings. This is all during days when we are paying for the use of the property, not paying to be a show room for them.
