Trick you into an update to use your old moving animations. However, they don't tell you which update you need. I choose Starter and later on I notice that I need a more expensive one. A monthly subscription of $32 is crazy for these features.
The software is decent but pricing is ridiculous. Of course a year subscription is cheaper but you don't want a year subscription if you just start out.

We invested a lot of time and effort to build our service and we strongly believe it brings value to our users. While the monthly price is indeed higher than the yearly one, you can always try our service for one month then upgrade to the yearly subscription. The yearly price is lower than the monthly one in order to reward the users that commit for a longer period.

BannerSnack is Great but can be Improved
It is a good sight all in all, I've have had a blast using it, but things that I think could be improved are the amount of banners you can make before going premium. Bannersnack also needs give a larger variety to people not using the premium pack to understand how good this sight really is.

Bannersnack cuts hours off graphic design
Before we got Bannersnack we were using Photoshop to create animated gifs for the Google Ad Network. Man, that took forever. First of all each different size has to be its own separate file, you can't design simultaneously like with Bannersnack. Secondly, it takes a real pro to use Photoshop, which we have on staff, but it's nice how with Bannersnack you can start designing with no real design experience. I am proficient with PowerPoint and Canva and I found that Bannersnack was just like a marriage of those two programs, with a little Premiere Pro thrown in the mix (lightly as that's not an easy program to learn either). So the point is, Bannersnack is really, really, really easy to use. A kid could figure it out. We originally bought it to make banner ads, but once we made the purchase we thought of so many other uses. It allows for large, hi-res files too. So we started to use it to design videos for our lobby TV screens which we manage through Inlighten Studio Pro. We also started using it to make animated posts for Facebook and Instagram. Our graphic designer is currently working on creating some animated infographics that we plan to share on our website. It's a great content creator, and the limit is your imagination. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone trying to take their media to the next level while cutting many tedious hours off production.
