The experience was an excellent one largely due to the friendly fitters Micheal and Brandon a father and son partnership . Excellent fitting skills clean tidy and precise. All done with a can do attitude and a friendly manner . Carpet very good quality and value for money . Service from start to finish fast and seamless . No pun intended 😂

Had 2 bedrooms carpeted a few months ago which I was very pleased with. I returned to Carpet giant to discuss my lounge / hall and dining area . The team were very professional, offered suggestions to alleviate any concerns I raised .also working within my budget . Steve the fitter arrived on Monday and finished today, the end result highlighted his skill as a fitter. A true professional .

Our third visit to Carpet Giant at Charlton . Well you will not visit a better carpet flooring provider . John who we have dealt with on each occasion is superb ! So helpful without being intrusive and certainly knows his stuff . The other members of staff are great too. Selection of all your flooring needs could not be better at a very competitive price . Congratulations to John for all he does . See you next time.

I only popped in for a small piece of vinyl, the man in there was very helpful and friendly not like another shop I went into , the man came over to help me to work out which would be best .
I wish I got his name as he was very helpful 1 st time I have been there and will definitely go back there in the future.

We had our carpet fitted yesterday, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Both Andy and Alex did an amazing job! We’re not usually comfortable having people around doing jobs, but they’ve been a pleasure to have—it felt as if they weren’t even here. Such lovely people! Very precise!

An outstanding service from start to finish!

We chose a carpet, and Mark came to measure everything. He gave us a quote instantly, which we decided to proceed with as the price was very competitive. The meeting was also very informative, and all the measurements were spot on! There were no issues at all on installation day.

A store rep Donald came to my assistance I told him exactly what I needed he was very attentive to my requirements easy to talk to and listened Donald then guided me around to look at carpets samples explaining if the carpet was suitable
I made a decision and completed my order

Buyer beware 0 star review.

Bought an off-cut of vinyl and returned it within 24 hours as the colour wasn’t right. They refused to take it back, claiming there were bends and bumps—conveniently ones they couldn’t show me. Feels like they’re well-rehearsed in dodging returns. Wouldn’t recommend! Salesman very shouty and bullying I had to tell him to calm down and don’t speak to me like that. As a female would not go back.

Lovely staff very helpful in store. Not pushy at all will shop there again.

I was completely impressed with Rob's professionalism and customer service from the Lockmeadow branch of Carpet Giant in Maidstone. I was impressed by his commitment to going the extra mile by checking other branches of Carpet Giant to find the type and design of carpet and underlay to suit my requirements. He was highly efficient and I highly recommend that you visit this branch for your carpet needs. Although, I was concerned whether I could get a carpet fitter in time before Christmas, noting this would be a very busy period, he even helped to arrange a carpet fitter Simon, for the following week. Simon did an excellent job fitting my carpet and exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Rob and Simon.

I purchased carpet and lino removal and replacement for a house. The contractors sent by carpet giant left the premises with supplies I provided (glue, grippers but even all the snacks I left them), pressurised me into paying them then and there but promised to come back in two days to rectify the snags.

Two days later and they are not here, they are not picking up the phone and when I called from another number told me they won't come as I already paid them.

I called carpet giant and was told by a director they would sue me for leaving a review or contacting my credit card provider and that their disclaimers do not cover doors catching the carpet, contractors failing to come as agreed and nicking my items. I presume the disclaimers also cover leaving debris all over the new carpet for me to clean up.

Compared to a number of services and companies that in the course of my build I have dealt with, based on my personal experience I would rate CG as one the best .
The others are corrupt and take the paying customer for granted.

We have always trusted Carpet giant for an excellent carpet and laminate flooring services. Recently we had wooden liminate flooring, Ricky did an exceptionally good and neat and clean job.Helped with some jobs were not contracted.
Definitely recommended.

Excellent customer experience at Carpet Giant in Maidstone. Doug was extremely knowledgable and took us through our options for replacing our bathroom flooring. He also showed us the interactive website, where you can import the chosen flooring into your bathroom, to get an idea of how it looks. This was very helpful with our decision process.

Fitting was quick and done to a good standard

Dear John, as your Charlton office inspected my flat, why was I not informed door will need to be sanded which a contractor cannot do? This contractor AFTER laminate flooring was done only ... removed 4 doors.. & 2 doors not moving... and then immediately disappeared from my flat without fitting the door.
I want compensation.

Invoice was £1590 but you told me to pay £1650 (630 contractor + 390+570+60). I am overpaid and my money stolen for not fitting door.
Today I paid £70 for each door sanding totalling £420. this is with "Pistachio the Circular Saw (cordless)" from new flooring contractor. I want this compensated within 14 days please.

I am satisfied with the flooring. Good quality and design. The colour is very nice and it is comfortable. Overall, there is hardly any negatives to the flooring and it is decent and great.

This is my first time used with Carpet Giant. Their prices are keen and they keep their appointments on time.
I had a lovely guys, Leon and Maurice as the carpet fitter. I had missed one room when I bought the vinyl. Leon was brilliant he managed to fixed it for free.
He’s genuinely nice guy. Highly recommend this company and Leon the fitter
