Catastrophic Quality Control Failures

As a professional craftsman and specialized kiln technician, I cannot recommend utilizing this distributor for critical equipment components or studio supplies. My recent transaction highlighted systemic issues with both lead times and catastrophic quality control failures.

Extended Lead Times: The initial order was subjected to a grueling 12-week lead time, with invoice tracking remaining entirely opaque throughout the process.

Severe Quality Control Failures: Upon final delivery, the kiln bricks supplied to my shop were unusable for professional applications. The inventory consisted of factory-marked QC rejects—complete with blue factory reject markings—featuring entirely breached element channels.

Equipment Hazard: Installing structurally compromised components with exposed or breached channels presents an immediate equipment failure risk and a severe operational hazard to high-voltage kiln wiring assemblies.

Account Resolution: While the customer service team ultimately bypassed standard timelines to issue a refund once confronted with clear photographic evidence of the defective factory scrap, the initial oversight in shipping these materials to a commercial account is unacceptable.

For independent studios, master craftsmen, and service operations requiring precise technical standards, look elsewhere. The lack of warehouse oversight poses too high a liability for professional operations.
