Norwich Branch: My first time going to the Cornish Bakery, the Shakshuka Croissant was lovely and so was the coffee (latte). However, I found the customer service let my experience down. Queued at 8:3... See more

Visited the newly opened Bakewell shop
Visited the newly opened Bakewell shop. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pasty and Portuguese tart were delicious and the cappuccino was the best I’ve ever had. Only lost a star because customer had a dog in the cafe and that’s a problem for us re hygiene, allergies and dog phobias. I realise this won’t be a problem for some customers.
We called in last week
We called in last week. The Cornish Pasties were the best we have ever tasted! The staff were wonderful. Have recommended it to lots of friends&family since. Great experience!
Do not Bother
Our family of 4 all had pasties. What a disappointment. So salty, hard pastry I guess they must have been sitting on the whatever you call the hot thing for too long. Overpriced and well just a rip off. Fair to say we will never ever visit again.
Newly opened in Bakewell
Newly opened in Bakewell, Derbyshire. Great, friendly service and welcoming. Was really clean too. The pasty I had was super nice, really tasty. Would go again definitely.
Twice this week
Twice this week, the 28th March Salisbury & then on the 39th down in Somerset at the Clarke Village. Both times the pasties were over cooked & very hard to bite, over cooked & really quiet browned off.As my husband is a Cornish man he was very disappointed. We always go to the one in Salisbury & have been going there since they opened & never before experienced pasties like that. But on the whole, friendly staff & clean.
The Cornish Bakery in Bourton on the Water is my favourite Bakery Café.
You receive a warm friendly welcome. The Cornish Bakery offers a delicious range of savoury and sweet food that is fresh and tasty.
I highly recommend the Cornish Bakery in Bourton on the Water as a regular customer.

Avoid if you don't want a cashless society
Ordered but was then told I couldn't use cash. Will avoid in future, as will probably all people that don't want a cashless society
Lunch and tasty coffee
We came in for lunch today after a walk at Lyme. We were greeted by Annette who couldn’t be more helpful. There were 4 of us including a child and we had a dog. Annette was polite, knowledgeable and efficient in serving us. We’ll be back!

Visited the Bude store today for a coffee in the hail storm. Pasties always delicious and full of flavour and we were able to take the dog in. The place was spotless and the lady serving was lovely. Thank you for making our dog walk day end on a high and a really great coffee which is way better than the luke warm dishwater at Costa.
Shame its card only. As a local i took the pasty home. Was not a nice taste. Lacked seasoning and very bland. Most was thrown away. Will not buy from there again from Bourton shop.
Shame its card only.

Just been into your Gretna store to grab lunch. A long queue to door, absolutely no problem with waiting. I noticed the man on till suck his fingers and then carry on serving the customer he was dealing with without washing his hands. I turned tail and left not purchasing. Please educate the staff on food hygiene!

Bought a pasty and the meat was all clumped up in one place,
I recommend mixing the meat in properly
Terrible & dirty 👎🏻
I went to the Dorchester branch yesterday 09/11/22 it was my first time going to the Cornish bakery and I won’t be going again!!
The tables, cups & teapots were filthy! The food was burnt! It was awful, there was only one toilet which was constantly engaged. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
A total waste of money.
Excellent hospitality
Enjoyed excellent service, food & coffee from your bakery in Tintagel. Special thank yous go to Kim & Callum who where excellent in all respects.
BTW Kim's knowledge on house building was an unexpected bonus!!
Note this wasn't any old a one off, we visited a total of five times during w/c 10/10/22!!
Very poor cleaniness
We visited at 8.45 this morning - 31/10/22.
What a great shame to have such a good location and modern pleasant decor but completely let down by lack of cleanliness.
There were flies on the food in the display area. In the outdoor area there was evidence of used dirty napkins, food residue on the tables, sticky seating benches from unknown sources and heavily littered floors. This did not happen first thing on Monday morning!!

Friday at 16.30 and they are putting the chairs on the table as if to show they are closing up, not very inviting. Cleaningvthe tables with the hand not a cloth. Staff seem friendly enough and the food looks nice.Their coffee is not to my taste so I will probably not come back. We are very well catered for in Stamford, Lincolnshire for coffee shops.
We were the very first customers at the new Whitby outlet opened today
We were the very first customers to your new outlet in Whitby by the harbour this morning. Lovely people inc your ops training chappie and we felt very welcome. Lovely coffee and excellent chocolate twists (or whatever you call them). Hope all goes well at the branch, look forward to the branding and refurb next year.
