We’ve eaten in the Covered Wagon, Coventry, many times and always been excellent. We’ve just had a takeaway delivered and it was awful, nothing like the restaurant food. Chicken Bhuna was flavourless, naans were horrible (nothing like what you get in the restaurant), chips were cold. Very disappointing, won’t get a delivery again. The cost was just under £80 for three people, which I wouldn’t mind paying for quality, tasty food - extortionate for lower than average, flavourless food, not even a couple of free popadoms included - which most takeaways do when you are spending a high amount!!

What a shame the service is such a shambles… the curry was lovely. No cutlery, no clean plates for main meal, had to repeat our order, the meal came out too fast at the same time as popadoms. It was supposed to be a nice birthday treat but it turned into everyone just talking about how bad it was… memorable for the wrong reasons. Maybe it’s a busy Saturday thing?

ahas been the best food always...but recently become Inconsistent and poor quality as opposed to super in the past.
The portion sizes of all food is reduced without any reduction in the menu prices!!!

A party of 18 of us went to The Covered Wagon on Holyhead Road Coventry on 9th February. I found there to be lots of parking. The inside has been totally refurbished and was a welcoming environment. The service was very friendly and efficient. Our order came quickly with generous portions. We all commented on how good the meal was. Overall it was a really enjoyable experience

Arrived not booking a table unfortunately. The manager said they were fully booked but if we waited a little while he would see what he could do. Within 10 minutes he had found us a table. Really friendly staff and the food was outstanding. Definitely will be back and will tell family and friends about this amazing place. I would suggest booking beforehand though as it gets really busy.

We visited the Covered Wagon in Coventry tonight. It was very busy and we were seated at our booked table after a short wait. Our server, Kane, was enthusiastic, informative and helpful. He made our evening an absolute pleasure. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We will be coming back!

A TRULY GREAT EVENING. A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE WHICH WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A SUPERB AND VARIED MENU. UNLIKE SO MANY RESTAURANTS THESE DAYS WE GOT WHAT WE PAID FOR. EXCELLENT QUALITY FOOD IN PORTION SIZES THAT SURPRISED ALL MY PARTY. EXCELLENT VALUE, QUICKLY DELIVERED WITH NO LONG WAITS. AT NO TIME HOWEVER DID WE FEEL RUSHED. WE COULDN'T FINISH THE FOOD AND WERE GIVEN BOXES TO TAKE IT HOME. I MUST ASO GIVE A HUGE 'SHOUT OUT' TO OUR SERVER WHO'S NAME WAS 'DEEP' A YOUNG MAN WHO WAS WELCOMING AND VERY FRIENDLY. KNOWLEDGABLE WITH REGARD TO THE FOOD AND REALLY HELPED US TO CHOOSE OUR FOOD. A CREDIT TO THE RESTAURANT. IN SHORT, IF YOU WANT A REALLY NICE EVENING OUT WITH GREAT WITH FRIENDS WITH GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE THIS IS THE PLACE. IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY ON OUR VISIT AND IT REALLY MADE MY DAY SPECIAL. I CAN'T FAULT IT. TRY IT, YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED.

Such a fantastic place to eat /drink. The food is top notch and always fresh. The service is also always friendly.

They cater to all needs and I was most impressed with the vegetarian options. Highly impressed with their customer service and cleanliness aswell.
