07/17/21 Visa Billed $315.99 - No response or refund for cancelled order
07/17/21 on 06/21/21 placed an online order (Order #6100) with The Crypto Merchant for Billfodl Family Pack of 4 Stainless Steel Recovery Seed Backup Tools; Visa was billed $315.99. The Crypto Merchant requested photo id information to complete the order although they already billed my Visa. I declined to send personal id info and requested the order be cancelled. No refund or Visa credit. Sent a follow-up email regarding my refund on 07/13/21 - no response. As of today 07/17/21 still no response from The Crypto Merchant and no refund. They still have my $315.99 and I've received nothing. Beginning to look like they are engaging in theft and wire fraud activities. BUYER'S BEWARE. Linda.
Update 07/22/21 Greetings; Received the promised credit to my Visa card (as of 07/20/21). Thank You Trustpilot for providing a platform to help keep companies honest. Remember it not what these companies say/claim or post....it's what they do. Actions always speak louder than words. Linda.

This customer placed on order on our website using a stolen or hacked visa gift card, with a fake name, email address, and invalid phone number.
Our fraud filters caught the order and our team requested ID verification documents as we typically do in instances of potential fraud. The customer never responded to multiple requests for verification. They then proceeded to write this defamatory review using false information.
Their order has been cancelled and fully refunded. We cancel and fully refund all orders we suspect of fraud that cannot be verified as otherwise by customers.
We do NOT request ID verification for PayPal or Crypto payments. We only request ID verification in instances where we believe that a stolen or fraudulent credit card is being used to place an order.
Do not use a stolen or fraudulent credit card on our website and you should have no issues.

I have yet to actually receive the… and an uodate!
I have yet to actually receive the Trezor Model T I ordered on 1/17/2021. It's been delayed for a 2nd time. I'm not sure when I'll actually get it, so yeah, 2 stars. This may change once I get a shipping email and determine how everything else goes. I'm giving only one more week before I cancel and go elsewhere. 1 month wait seems a bit excessive.
Here's an update concerning the customer service and the product. After being informed about the afore mentioned 2nd delay, customer service at the Crypto Merchant reached out to me to explain the situation with delayed shipping. I totally understood what was happening. After doing some research of my own prior to their communication with me, I could see what was going on in the entire crypto markets and industry. Crypto is exploding at the moment and also with products like Ledger having issues with personal info being compromised, Demand for security has become a priority for folks serious about keeping their assets safe. So, with that, it's become VERY HARD to get a Trezor ANYWHERE without some type of wait. I consider myself lucky to have gotten one at all!! I am thankful that they continued contact with me with updates. When they received their shipment they immediately sent out my order. Even though my order took along time to arrive, I DO NOT lay this at their feet. Their service was awesome. The went above and beyond considering what they had to deal with. It can't be easy to tell customers "delayed again because..." I appreciate it and the Model T is EXACTLY what I needed for "cold storage"!! WELL DONE!
