Where is my refund?

Placed an order for a SDD on the 21/04/26 was emailed on the 01/05/26 to tell me that it wasn’t actually in stock and would I like to cancel the order? Emailed them back on 02/05/26 to confirm cancellation, haven’t heard anything back since and obviously no refund. Called multiple times, they do not answer their phone

6 weeks on, no sign of phone, ive paid for repair upfront. They asked for my passcode!

Isent my phone via Royal Mail about 6 weeks ago. The scrren was cracked. I was told it was a small job, and had i been local, i could have taken it home that day. I sent it, i confirmed they had received it, I was even told it had been repaired a couple of weeks ago. And yet, despite recently messaging daily (me, not them) they have only just sent it back to me. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.
I also asked them to check/replace the battery. All in all it cost £240,not including the postage which i had to pay to send it.
I had to buy a new phone to replace it, even though the other one still worked perfectly. Thats another £200.
I have had no apologies, i have not been updated, just reassurances thst all will be well.
I sent the phone in maintenance mode to protect my data. To top it off, last night i was asked to provide my passcode so the technician could check the phone (although it was apparently fixed 2 weeks ago) I obviously did not provide them with access to all my bank accounts/personsl details and told them to just send it. They have always been aware that time is an issue as i am currently travelling around. I leave on Saturday, so if it doesn't arrive tomorrow, i wont get it. Goodness knows whether the battery has been checked or replaced as no direct questions are answered.
I certainly wouldn't send a phone to them again unless i have some masochistic desire to be gaslighted again.
Perhaps this is a recent downturn in quality of support, as one reason i chose them was that they'd been in business for 10 + years.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company. On February 25th I sent my phone to them for a screen replacement. I received the phone back on April 20th so after almost a month and when I opened the package I had a big surprise, the back of the phone was not glued properly and the wrong display was installed (not oled). On March 30th I sent the phone back to them to be repaired properly this time I received the phone back on May 9th. This time the correct display was installed and the back was glued properly but the camera no longer works. They said to send it back and their technician will check it because after the last screen replacement they said the check was not done because the phone needed a password to be unlocked although this is not true because before sending the phone to them a factory reset was done on the phone and the phone was sent without an account or unlock passwords.

I wouldn’t recommend this shop at all. 😡
An item my husband purchased on 25 February still hadn’t been delivered by 4 May. 📦⏳
The sellers kept ignoring our messages, making promises and not following through – it felt very misleading. ❌
In the end, only our bank was able to resolve the issue and help us recover the money. 💳✔️
Very disappointing experience. 👎

Warning to all

I am leaving this review to provide a factual and serious warning to anyone considering using this company for phone repairs.
I handed in my device under an agreed 7–10 working day repair timeframe. Instead, the repair took almost two months to complete. During this period, communication was inconsistent and often non-existent. Several of my messages were read without any response, leaving me with no clarity on the status of my device for extended periods.
Partway through the process, I was informed that there was additional internal damage that needed to be repaired, and I was asked to pay an extra fee for this. However, this internal damage was not present when the device was originally submitted and therefore appears to have occurred while in their care. Being asked to pay for damage that was caused during the repair process was extremely concerning and completely unacceptable.
When I finally received the phone back, although the internal repairs had eventually been completed, the external frame showed scratches and chips that were also not present prior to the repair. This strongly suggests a lack of proper handling and care throughout.
Based on my experience, future customers should be aware of the potential for:
• Extensive delays far beyond agreed timeframes
• Lack of communication or responses to messages
• Unexpected charges for damage caused during the repair
• New external damage upon return of the device
I strongly recommend documenting every aspect of your device — including photos of the internal and external condition — and ensuring that all agreements and costs are confirmed in writing before proceeding with any repair.
I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and implements significant improvements to its service, communication, and accountability processes

Dont trust with Warranty

I had the displays replaced on two different MacBooks, and both screens developed damage within weeks — one within 2 days, another within a month — simply from normal opening and closing. Despite being under warranty, Gadget Clinic refused to cover the repair, citing “physical damage.” If you’re counting on warranty support, don’t. Their after-sales service is deeply disappointing and they will find a way to avoid accountability.

iPhone repair

I took my iPhone in for repair as it was not charging. Tal was very professional in terms of inspecting my phone and then clearly explaining cost and timescal. Due to a faulty replacement part, Tal went out of his way to source another, outside of working hours, to ensure that the repair was successful, keeping me informed at all times. I would highly recommend Tal at The Gadget Clinic

Don’t buy anything from them

Don’t buy anything from them, ordered a gpu and then they said they’re closed for the festive period okay fine so I asked for a refund so I can buy it somewhere else. The guy told me in plain writing he cancelled and refunded it, cool refunds take days so I waited but because I know for a fact Clearpay refunds are basically instant 1-2 days max. I messaged them again to ask what’s going on, no answer…. So I disputed on Clearpay and all of a sudden they answer now but they claim to have shipped it out in the dispute lol. So I message them again this time with attitude because they’re holding my money hostage and then he tells me he can refund me now… so when I asked them to cancel and refund they didn’t originally and I had to push via the payment method for them to actually cancel my order…. Just save yourself time and order from a website that doesn’t look like it was made in 2012. They have no policies on their website about ordering… Only repairs, that should’ve been a red flag to me. It’s my fault for ordering from them. Never again

I had my broken screen replaced within 24 hours of contacting them. They sourced a new  screen immediately and delivered service that felt as precise and high-quality as factory standards. I strongly recommend this company.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company.

2 samsung tablets and a phone sent in April and paid the intial online fee. After WEEKS of hounding we were finally given an additional invoice for more payment due to additional internal damage, fair enough one device was water damaged, another was smashed front and back.

After even more WEEKS of phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages with prmises that the 2 tablets were fixed and they were waiting in the phone, we received the phone back only. The phone was still faulty, when asked about the tablets we were told that they were awaiting parts? WHAT?!?!

Phone went back to be "fixed"!

After, weeks laters and still no word so the process of chasing them began again. More excuses - parts delayed, family members not well etc.

Eventually after a threat of going down the legal route of small claims court the ball was moving.....slowly.

The tablets were finally returnes working, but no phone. We were told it was beyond saving and now an alternative was offered. Fair enough.

This however was coming from "the factory". Another week of chasing after the delivery date came and went without any sign of it.

At this point we decided to travel from Doncaster to shop located in Bromsgrove.

This converstaion was finished unsatisfied as the we were promised the phone will be there the next day, if previous experience is anything to go by we wernt hopeful. And also a good will refund of £50 which has to this date never been recieved.

The refurbed phone finally did arrive and worked however the charging socket wouldnt hold the charging wire so it needs to be placed upright on a dock until it is repaired but definitely not by this team.

Please spend you money elsewhere and save your sanity.

POOR COMMUNICATORS

I used this company for a battery replacement on a Samsung phone. Communication with them by phone is poor, too busy to answer the phone, and a similar response when using WhatsApp. The tracking page gave an 'In progress' as soon as they received my phone, which lasted two weeks.

Scam

First of all, they took more than half a year to "fix" my broken iPad, after I paid extra £250 for the needed parts, and then they sent me a completely different iPad. I sent in a purple 256GB iPad and they sent me a 64GB grey iPad.

Danaged side button on my Samsung Galaxy…

The side button on my Samsung Galaxy mobile 'phone stopped working after I dropped it, which meant I couldn't turn it on.
I was very stressed when I couldn't access my files. The prompt attention and great service I received at The Gadget Clinic restored my 'phone to full working order within an hour. I would not hesitate to recommend The Gadget Clinic to friends and family.
