On line experience is very good: good range of whiskies and competitive pricing; queries / issues (infrequent) settled politely and quickly.

In store is a curate's egg: on the down side the shop lacks the air of a specialist whisky merchant (e.g. Loch Fyne Whiskies before The Whisky Shop homogenised them) such is the range of other stuff available at The Green Welly; on the up side the people are nice, the range much the same as online and (paradoxically) you can also pick up a burger, a Barbour and a fridge magnet while you're there.

I have used this company twice to deliver gifts to relatives. There is a no fuss honest service which delivers on time and at a good price. I highly recomend them to anyone and everyone. Thanks.

Wonderful little shop with great selection of whiskies including a lot of rare bottlings. The packaging of the parcels couldn't be better. No doubt there's a lot of love and care involved. One of my favorite whisky retailers!

Ordered over the Bank Holiday, posted late in the day they reopened. I was not expecting delivery for Two days or so, but came the day after they posted the parcel, outstanding. Parcel was well bubble wrap and then each container was then neatly wrapped in Green Welly paper. I will use again, very soon.

Would have given five stars but had to keep pestering to get an ETA and courier info. Was told that I would be contacted with when to expect parcel, but wasn't and it was incorrectly addressed and lucky I was in and heard my neighbours flat doorbell ring. Can't fault this whiskey though and sad it wasn't for me but a gift for a friend. Can recommend it to people who enjoy Irish Whisky. Lovely subtle flavours and smooth.

I was very pleased with the service I received from the Green Welly Stop. I had problems with my internet service during an online purchase and thought it had failed so I called them to make my purchase over the phone. Later, they called me back to say the online purchased had been successful and went out of their way to help refund the slightly more expensive purchase I'd made by phone. They also stock some very difficult-to-find whisky's.

Easy to use website. Order delivered as expected with robust packaging. Prices are very competitive so no complaints at all. 3rd or 4th time I've had deliveries and never disappointed.

Just as the title says, enquired about a bottle and was phoned back by a member of staff who said she would keep me informed. That very afternoon I got another call back and the bottle was delivered within a few days, excellent.
