I brought a one-day pass as did my disabled brother for some strange reason his pin would not be accepted and he was sent a message saying the manager will meet him to talk about the issue which I couldn't believe so unprofessional literally scammed I then tried to buy another day pass from my account for my brother and they sent me the same pin which doesn't even make sense as I can only use it once I felt robbed there was no customer service no answer from the assistance phone despite me trying an hr I felt so bad for my brother who is disabled and suffers from severe chrohns and cancer and this is the last thing he needs I'm so disgusted pls do not use this gym they are so unprofessional wethere they are aware of it or not they robbed me and my brother twice it's so disgraceful worst company let alone gym

Bad customer services

I paid for a full month membership and only managed to attend a few sessions before I had to stop due to serious medical reasons and an upcoming surgery, as well as leaving the country.

I requested a refund or a fair solution based on this situation, but was told I could simply use the remaining membership instead. This was not a reasonable response as I am physically unable to attend.

Despite having already paid for the full month, my access was then removed after I raised the issue, which felt unfair and unprofessional.

Overall, I am very disappointed with how this situation has been handled and would not expect this level of flexibility or customer care in a situation involving genuine medical circumstances.

Not the best

I have only just joined having been a member at another well known gym for many years, but it has become too expensive. I Joined this one as it is considerably cheaper and I can see why. It is very busy and difficult get on to equipment that you want to, so I am not able to do the exercise I want to. The cleaning is very poor with the base of the equipment being covered in dust. I haven't seen any staff walking around that you can ask to help to show you how the equipment works so I have had to play around to discover for myself. I don't think I will be staying at this gym for long.

Really good gym lovely personal…

Really good gym lovely personal trainers really friendly with a smile. The only thing is the weights only go up to 38kg dumbbells they should go up to 50kg. The staff make up for it but they need to see what they can do in relation to this speak to head office as the instructors says it’s above them.

Busiest place I ever seen

Busiest place I ever seen. Equipment are too busy and some groups with number of people kept machine busy with workout or personal training throughout. Don't know they going home or not. Lacking proper machines but having old machine like dumped here. Having just one landmine attachment in whole heaving place located where not accessible if someone working one nearby equipment. Poorly managed gym. Needed to be lucky day or fight to get equipment. Must review who is accessing gym.

I worked here and had a very negative…

I worked here and had a very negative experience with one of the managers. While my interactions with other staff members were generally positive, this manager was disrespectful and unprofessional in his communication with employees. He spoke down to me and staff and created an uncomfortable work environment. In my experience, many of the workplace issues were related to his management style. Because of this, I would not recommend working here. His name is Xadim
When I’m posting the review on Google he is always deleting it as he knows that I have evidence as I recorded his unprofessional attitude and coments towards me

Support is non-existent

I like the gym but my pin keeps being rejected despite being a paying customer and the support is non-existent.

I am a paying customer being ignored and always relying on staff to let me in. Not good enough and sad that I've had to resort to a negative review in an attempt to get it resolved.

When you raise a ticket it sends an automatic email immediately closing your request. Very poor customer experience.

Absolutely abysmal customer service

Absolutely abysmal customer service. I attempt to refund my membership going through the correct channels only to still be billed. I am yet to have a response. The gym itself is lacking in equipment and most equipment is damaged.

Horrendous customer service that won’t let you cancel your membership and terrible staff.

Will not be joining ever again.

The haed task facing the manager

The previous manager, Michael Kaylan, was very good, and the new manager, Roberto Abrantes continues to carry on the good work. Given that a lot of the clients are very difficult or ignorant on proper etiquette and use, Roberto is doing a fantastic job , to try and keep us long standing members renew our membership. I just feel more focus should be made on educating some users on how to behave .

They are complete scam

They are complete scam ! You cancel your membership and they cancel your cancelation! I’m trying to cancel and no matter how many forms I completed they just continue to file deduced the payment ! DO NOT USE THIS GYM !

I am happy to recommend this gym

I am happy to recommend this gym. I mainly do bodyweight training with a bit of weights and machines. There are plenty free-standing pull-up bars, which are necessary for calisthenics, and a few dipping bars. I usually come between 8 and 9 on weekdays, hardly ever had to wait for any equipment including machines and free weights.

There is a dedicated Hyrox/Crossfit training space with rope pulls, boxes, medicine balls and mats.

Changing rooms and showers are clean and pleasant to use. Never had difficulty finding a locker. There is free parking for gym users and a Lime bike drop off point right outside. There is also a Sainsbury's in the same building for all the post-training cravings.

George P, the gym's manager, is passionate and dedicated to keeping high standards. He is also a competent bodyweight coach with great personality.

They lure you in with email offers and…

They lure you in with email offers and advertisements promising "50% off your first month" and "no annual fees." However, as soon as you sign up, they immediately charge you £26.99 instead of the promotional rate. How is this not misleading advertising?
​When you notice the mistake and try to cancel your membership, they make it as difficult as possible. You have to do it via email, and then you have to constantly chase them just to get a reply. Very disappointed with these practices. Completely untrustworthy.
