Mulberry Bayswater success

My Mulberry Bayswater bag was grease stained and really showing signs of wear.It was returned to me as new!!What more can I say....fantastic!!

Worst handbag spa ever, give your lovely handbag at your risk

Worst handbag spa ever! Ruined my Chanel lait minaudière. Returned damaged, bag strap not even serviced at all. When I posted review on Ig this morning, they blocked me. Rude staff who takes weeks to respond to emails , never an update on handbag progress as promised before I gave my bag to them. Requested refund through PayPal they didn’t refund stating it was service not a good merchandise. The Handbag spa completely agreed their staff ‘forgot’ to even attempt to restore the strap at all and that they used wrong diamantés for restoration but somehow PayPal still sided with them as it was a service (even though bad) which was provided and they refused to pay for damage and incomplete work they inflicted. Don’t use them , so evil ! Gosh!

We were very thorough in the estimate we supplied for the work you requested which included
cleaning of the strap but not any restoration work.

The bag in general and the strap in particular were in a poor state of repair when the bag was sent to us and the services that you requested us to carry out were all carried out along with the shoes that you also sent to us.
Automated updates were sent to you throughout the process, we are sorry if for some reason you did not receive these.

We tried to resolve the issues you raised over the work with you through many emails but in the middle of this process you raised a chargeback with PayPal instead of following it through with our accounts department.

PayPal then investigated the claim thoroughly with us including taking photos of the before and after of the work we had carried out and they found in our favour.
In these circumstances we take PayPal (who are an independent arbitrator) as a final decision.

We are very sorry if the work we did did not meet your expectations but as explained we cannot return a very damaged bag back to an ‘as new’ condition and we are happy that you are pleased with the results we achieved on your shoes.

Professional, efficient and friendly company doing exactly what they advertise. I had one very sad looking handbag that they have given a new life to. Very happy to recommend.

The team at The Handbag Spa most…

The team at The Handbag Spa most definitely bought my handbag back to life it is 15 years old and required a lot of attention to revive it back to it's original look, I can honestly say my handbag looks brand new, the estimated time of repair is stated as any time between 6-8 weeks but be aware my handbag took 10 weeks I was informed at all times of its progress and in the end it was worth the wait all good things come to those who wait!! I am a very happy customer!

Mulberry handbag

My wife’s Mulberry handbag was stained inside and also had a lipstick stain on the outside

They have completely ruined my bag

They have completely ruined my bag. The whole leather is dehydrated and torn and they blame me for it. I took pictures on the day I have send it to them and the leather was in perfect condition. Then they made more stains and didn't mention it before they have send it back. The stains were not there and the leather was in perfect condition and now it is shredded. They also dare to ask money for this too.. The moment you file a complaint, they indicate that you have done it yourself. Never send your bag here !!!

Disgrace.

Disgrace.. paid £190 for what I thought was going to be a full restore of a bag.. now anyone with half a brain would know a full restore would involve the inside..no not this company.. the bag came back more or less the same..I only wish I could upload photos on here! Now they want another £100 to do the inside! Absolute disgrace!! Do not use! Avoid!! They won't get another penny out of me!

I found this company online and I wish…

I found this company online and I wish I had read the reviews before sending my £2000 Chanel Handbag to them to be cleaned! Not only did they initially ask for £90 to clean it they then requested a further £80 to colour restore it (plus an extortionate amount to return it considering what I paid to send it to them, insured and tracked) I have had to chase them at every step of the process, sending numerous emails that were not returned and following up with phone calls. After being promised it would be back by 7th-14th Jan and then again was told (after sending numerous emails and making phone calls) that it would be sent out on 18th January and when I still hadn’t received it I began to get worried which is when I read their online reviews, which made me even more worried, I finally received the bag at the beginning of February.
The bag looks exactly the same colour as when I sent it to them, they have colour restored it to the same dirty colour it was when I sent it, they did not colour match from the inside where there was no wear, and the strap is still filthy and looks as though no cleaning has taken place, they did say it may need colour restore but they would let me know, they did not. I did ask for a partial refund as I feel I have had very poor value for money, £170 for a terrible service, in both the finished product and their customer service, however all I got back was arrogant defensive emails saying they had done what was paid for!
I also notice online they are in liquidation which does not surprise me.
I would avoid this cowboy set-up with a barge pole!

Very bad experienece

Very bad experienece. I contacted them to ask for my bags to be returned to me. Yes the bag has been with them since about April 2017, however I was severely unwell and out of the UK receiving life saving treatment for my condition. I kept in touch with them and I was told to get back to them when I was ready to go ahead with the repair. I have e-mail evidence of all communication with them. They made no attempts to contact me to notify me that they will get rid of expensive bags in their possession if I did not pick them up within 6 months. They had all my contact details including my e-mail address and also had the option of returning it to the sender (Flair Dry Cleaners).I am still in absolute shock. This all happened today.Please avoid them at all costs. I was an exiting customer and had got 4 bags repaired just around the same time I took the 3 bags in question. My greatest mistake was not waiting to see the quality of the repair before sending the 3 bags they are telling me I cannot have back because time has lapsed. I guess I was too ill to think straight. There will surely not be a next time and I will ensure I check reviews before sending my bags for repair anywhere in future. Terrible service. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Horrific !

Horrific !! I would have put no stars at all if there was the facility. Sent in a valuable bag with a defined pattern and with no phone call or consultation with me they attempted what they described as a "repair" but which I could only describe as a total and utter mess. I also asked for the bag to be clean. Instead they wrecked the suede and sent the bag back to me smelling really fusty and no cleaner. They then accused me of ruining the suede through transfer of body oils even though the damage they caused was on an area I never touched. When I complained I never got a named person and was told to send the bag back to them for further assessment. I wouldn't trust them with a barge pole. I would urge other people not to make the same mistake and to think twice before using. I am going to have to pursue through the courts to get this sorted.

Absolutely horrendous experience

Absolutely horrendous experience. Totally ruined my bag and just didn’t care. These are not professionals. Customer service is non-existent and I have been completely ignored initially and then treated with total contempt. Incredibly rude. Currently in the process of taking them to court. Please take note of these reviews and not end up in same situation.

At your own risk

At your own risk! I sent in my Gucci bag for a clean and my bag was returned smelling of damp and still dirty. It seems like they had just left my bag to decay in one damp corner. I almost cried when I got my bag back. I am unable to get rid of the smell since, my £1k bag is ruined.
