I would highly recommend THST from the minute I arrived at Izmir I was looked after so well.
The surgeon nurses interpretars can’t do enough for you to make you feel welcome and comfortable and all come an talk to you never felt alone once.I stayed after surgery in a lovely hotel I just cannot find any fault with my experience.

I would recommend this company to anyone who is considering surgery abroad. THST run like a well oiled machine, communication, empathy and support available at all times. No question is silly no request ignored. My one regret is I didn’t come sooner . Dr Remzi performed my surgery and gave me the extent of care you would never get at home! *He* even came and changed my dressings and checked on me at 5 in the morning one day. I will leave here being able to blend in with the crowd and no more unwanted attention.. ooh and my back ache ? Gone ! Thankyou you have changed my life ❤️‍🩹

I had GS surgery almost 4 weeks ago with THST. I would award 10* if I could. Everything was amazing. Jackie Drummond was my point of contact. Jackie is the kindest and most professional person I've ever worked with. Nothing is too much bother. She even checks in with me whilst on her own holiday. She is always available day or night and she's been through this whole process so she has all that experience to draw from.
From the second I arrived in Turkey I received 5* treatment. My driver was so friendly and even taught me some of the main Turkish phrases. I arrived at the hospital. Oh my goodness its like a 5* hotel with a 5* service. I arrived at 10pm and within approximately 12hours I had all my preop tests completed and was in surgery. As an NHS nurse I was amazed at the efficiency. I had visits from psychologist, dietitians to name a few. Our surgeon is amazing he made me feel so at ease and explained everything so clearly and checked on me 2-3 times a day in the hospital.
The language barrier was non existent. Although the nurses didn't speak English, The THST team were with me at every contact so communication flowed easily.
The surgery was smooth and yes I had pain but the THST team were with me and held my hand (literally). The first night I had gas pain and the THST staff on duty sat with me and held my hand and rubbed my back. I had travelled alone and this was way more that I could have asked for. When I left the hospital I was taken to a beautiful hotel. I had to leave for airport at 6pm but check out was at 12pm. The THST team paid for an extra night so that I could stay in my room those extra few hours. Nothing was a bother to them. They felt like friends and we chatted and laughed the whole time.
I've waited 4 weeks to post this review as I wanted to give a full overview and my gosh the treatment continues. The after care is second to none. I have regular check ins from Jackie and the team. I've spoken with the psychologist on a few occasions when battling with the mental aspect. I've had a message today to remind me to get my bloods checked and send results to my consultant in Turkey, who will also review and advise. I speak with my dietitian regularly... all via WhatsApp group and they reply immediately to any questions i may have.
I researched quite a bit before my surgery and THST did NOT have one negative review. They were all great reviews and the reason is because they are AMAZING! I've recommended them to family and friends and honestly, if you want a professional and caring group of professionals, then Jackie Drummond and THST are exactly that! Thank you to you all x

I had a gastric sleeve 9th Feb 2023
I live outside Belfast in N.Ireland and I'd never even been to Turkey before never mind have surgery there
I know a few people who had the surgery and they had very good feedback about HST and the whole procedure which made me want to use them so I contacted their rep Jackie Drummond who lives in Belfast
She put me at ease straight away with her big smile and bubbly personality she explained everything to me from enquiring booking to travelling the operation and aftercare
She was able to answer all of my questions some of which I felt where silly but she said they were important to me so never silly .
If there was something she didn't know she would find out and get right back to me
She made the process so easy and even now nearly 11 weeks later she still checks in to see if I'm ok and coping with things
I believe this is the best thing I've done for myself I'm 56 and want to enjoy the rest of my life with better health my weight was hindering me from doing that I'm 3 stone down already and I've so much more energy and vigour I feel I'm getting my mojo back
I believe my journey def would have been more of struggle with out Jackie's help thank you
I'd also like to say the hospital was first class the tests before the op were so rigorous they tested for everything just to be sure all was well
The surgeon came to my room a few times to talk over the procedure and ask me if I had any questions or concerns he also visited for a few days afterwards just checking it was all good and I was well
The care nurses and staff were so attentive were in and out of my room during the day and night doing bloods and observations most would speak very good English and if they didn't an interpreter was present
The hospital was very clean and a very relaxed atmosphere
I was given a dietician who talked me through the do's and don'ts of post care and I got a folder of the diet week by week for the first 6-8 weeks
It wasn't easy but what's a few weeks out of the rest of your life
The hospital staff are now in a chat on WhatsApp and if I need to ask anything at all they are always there and get back asap

I heard about the health Store Turkey through a friend of a friend went on their Facebook page and had alook at some of people's journeys said to myself I'm going to get it done so went to the balmoral hotel in belfast for a consultation and met the lovely rep Jackie Drummond and on the 16th feb this year went to Turkey with jackie and a few others hospital staff where there for you the whole stay and the people at the hotel can't thank them all enough. Especially the Belfast rep JACKIE DRUMMOND she goes above and beyond for her clients she is the nicest lady and cares about everyone

The service, care and support from Jackie Drummond was unbelievable. She is always on hand to give information or answer any questions you may have, this before when deciding on to through the surgery and on returning home. Along with Jackie being so fabulous the THST team when you arrive in Turkey are unreal the care and attention the support staff and medical personnel is better than being at home. The surgeon is also brilliant visiting sometimes a few times a day to check on you even when your surgery went well. I would totally recommend Jackie Drummond and THST

My experience started with the help of the Northern Ireland rep. Her name is Jackie Drummond, Jackie has helped and guided me with my decision and without her help I might not have had my sleeve done. The staff from THST are fabulous and nothing is too much for them. The hospital is spotlessly clean, there was no issues with language barriers as there are interpreters to help with everything. I would highly recommend Jackie and THST.

Just had a gastric sleeve with the health store turkey. What can i say from booking with Jackie in Belfast until now everything has been amazing. The staff go above and beyond for you. The surgeon is lovely and really makes you feel at ease. If your thinking about it do it you wont be disappointed xx

The staff is absolutely amazing. The coordinators are always there for you. The hospital is very clean and looks more like a SPA or 5star hotel. The doctor is a great guy! Overall getting surgery is a very stressful thing but this guys made my experience much easier. Amazing team! I highly recommend THST.

All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. The Health Store is amazing. They provide an incredible service. From the beginning, Salih was my advisor, he answered every single question that I had and gave me a lot of confidence to go ahead and book. He arranged everything for me including; transfers, hospital and hotel stay and he even helped me with my flights. He was always on hand for anything I needed, and was well versed in my procedure. My surgery was confirmed and 3 days before I flew out, a WhatsApp group was created with all of the staff that would help me along my journey. They were all so polite and eager to help. When we arrived, our driver was waiting for us, he was also a lovely man. Everything was 5* - the hospital room looked more like a high end hotel, even the transport bus was luxury.

As soon as we got to the hospital we were shown to our room and a lot of tests were done - they were very efficient. I saw more specialist doctors than I have ever seen in the U.K. and only after being cleared by every single specialist, was the surgery also cleared.

My Surgeon Dr Hüseyin was incredible, he gave me a lot of confidence as he is so confident in his own work.

My aftercare was incredible, the team couldn’t do enough to help me and make me feel comfortable - anything I asked for they provided. I was checked on regularly and given medication regularly.

When I was discharged we were taken to our hotel, which was also beautiful and again the staff went above and beyond to assist us.

Overall, all I can say is it was worth every penny, and it was a fraction of the cost in the U.K., yet I received a better service. I am beyond grateful for such an incredible team, surgeon and experience. Thank you so much to all of you.

The Health store is the only place I would ever recommend to anyone for surgery. If you are thinking of booking with them, go ahead, you won’t regret it.

Oh. My. Goodness. What amazing care from THST! I had a gastric sleeve operation this week and I’ve been blown away by the care. I’ve had an operation in a private hospital in the U.K. and that was great but this hospital and operating is way beyond that. 100% recommend them.

My experience at the health store Turkey has been exceptional, from the patient coordinators to the nurses and the surgeon. I have felt very well taken care off.

From my arrival to discharge everything was well planned and I can recommend any one to follow this through if you so decide. On discharge we were taken to a beautiful hotel. Overall I would say well done.

thst turkey was fantastic dr huseyin the best. All the co ordinators at the hospital were fantastic.
However - i paid for what was suppose to be an accompanied trip with vip transfers. This we did not receive even though we paid for it.
Beware of booking reps as ours were partying in a nearby hotel and posting pictures on social media - not good role models at all for people who have thought about and planned weight loss surgery. we also paid for VIP transfers something we did not receive. We were also told our transfer would be 3 to 3 half hours from dalaman upto Izmir - journey there in a dilapidated bus took us 5 half hours. I was in a group of 7 girls and we were NOT accompanied at all. When we tried to talk resonably before we left regarding a promise of 3 cars to transport us back we were told it was the same bus to which we refused. one of the booking agents over the phone spoke to us as though we were dirt. Would definatly use THST again but would avoid Booking agents and deal direct with hospital.

Hi all ,my self and seven other ladies took the brave step on the 17th of February 2023 to go with a rep called Jackie Drummond from the moment we all met in the bus station in Belfast to get the bus to Dublin Jackie was a great help relaxing us and keeping us calm, she chated to us the whole way there ,from the moment we got picked up at the airport in ismare the whole team were fantastic the hospital was like a five star hotel I couldn't fault it or the staff at all ,the best experience the best decision I have ever maid ,and the best decision to go with Jackie Drummond and going with seven women who were going through the same gastric surgery as my self 🙂

I cannot thank THST enough, me and my wife had separate procedures. From the moment we got picked up from the airport the staff are amazing and really look after you, they cannot do enough for you, keep you constantly informed via What's app group chat so I could keep track of my wife as we were in separate hospitals. Room cleaned twice daily, food ok then taken to a hotel which I could not fault. For anyone worried about surgery in Turkey, I can assure you, THST you'll be looked after for a fraction of the cost in the UK. We wouldn't hesitate to come back for future procedures.

Great experience. Staff were caring and professional. Dr Remzi is a lovely, caring man whose professional skills are exceptional, thorough and meticulous. My stay was very pleasant and I’m glad I chose Health store. I would recommend it above the UK. I was very impressed with all the staff and I felt I was listened to every step of the way.
