Toby & his team catered our wedding in August - they were absolutely fantastic, 5 stars. All the food (canapes/ starters/ pies/ BBQ) that came out of the kitchen was incredible with several guests (us included!) describing their pie as a ‘masterpiece’ and many saying it was the ‘best wedding food they have ever had’ (we agree!). Furthermore Toby’s excellent communication during the build-up, along with his polite and reassuring character kept us calm until the big day, and when it arrived, his team were amazing, super efficient and friendly. I would love to use Humble Pie again in the future and would highly recommend to anyone.

Toby and Alex of the Humble Pie Company are amazing. Really nice guys. More important, their food is delicious. Have used them 5 times now and every time it's been perfect. Most recently for my 70th birthday party. Everyone at my party said how fab the food was. Lovely fresh, tasty food and excellent service all round. You have to use them for your event. You won't be disappointed. They are 10 out of 10.

Toby at the Humble Pie Company catered our wedding. The pies were exceptional, one of the best I've ever had, and they were excellent at catering for allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements. Our gluten-free guests couldn't believe their luck, the pastry was indistinguishable!

On top of that, Toby and the team were all lovely, friendly, fun and full of joy on the day. You worry about a lot on the wedding day, but they made sure we had nothing to worry about with the catering. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. (It's also incredibly reasonable for a wedding meal - the prices are hard to beat!)

We got married 10 days ago with Humble Pie as our caterer, and can’t stop thinking about how great the food was. We’ve both worked extensively in hospitality and can confidently say that both the cooking and the service was faultless. Toby’s communication in the build up, and his team’s execution on the day, meant for an unbelievably relaxed yet assuredly precise and reliable experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and his team to anyone looking for great food and a finely tuned operation. We are looking for an excuse to host another event with Humble Pie asap!!!

The Humble Pie Company catered for our wedding in London. They served delicious canapes, pies and puddings. The food was amazing and Toby was so helpful in the lead up to the event and on the day. Our guests have been asking where our food was from because they loved it! Would 100% recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend Humble Pie to anyone looking for catering for a special occasion. Toby provided a sumptuous pie and mash meal for our wedding and the food was absolutely delicious and went down a treat. Beyond this though was Toby's calming support and warm presence on the day, and during the preparation. We really felt like there was a friend there who was making it all run smoothly so we could just enjoy, Toby really couldn't have done more. Thank you for helping to make our special day such a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The guys came to our office to cater "a pie and mash" lunch. It was absolutely amazing!

Experience with Toby was great! Everyone absolutely loved the canapés - we went for scotch eggs, arancinis, salmon, chorizo and crostinis. It was perfect food to soak up all the drinks during the reception. The pies were excellent! Really enjoyed everything and Toby’s team were there to help with everything we needed both in the run up and on the day. Great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, great hearty casual style food! The plates were also super cool and a really nice touch.

Toby was great to deal with and provided a wonderful 95th birthday dinner for my mother-in-law. Would highly recommend.

The pies and canapes at our wedding were great, we had lots of compliments, and the kids' food went down a treat too. Toby was helpful throughout the planning and on the day he and his team were very efficient and made the meal run smoothly. The choice of flavours was very impressive too.

The Humble Pie catered our brewery wedding last week and we cannot thank them enough. Toby had been on board for our wedding through many covid postponements and date changes and was so accommodating throughout. When we finally did get to have our wedding the food was as great as we remembered! The pies were delicious and so many people commented on how amazing the food was.

Communication with Toby throughout the planning process was brilliant and he even travelled on two occasions for site visits. The service from him and his team on the day was impeccable - we can't thank them enough!

Fantastic!! We booked The Humble Pie Co to provide pie & mash for 120 members of staff. They were able to cover all dietary requirements that we requested, hired all equipment they needed and turned up to a workspace they'd not seen before and use what space we had efficiently. The food was delicious and a firm favourite of the lunches! Looking forward to working with you again! :) Cat

I tasted their pies at a company event and was surprised by how tasty that was. It brings comfort food to a new level.

Humble Pie catered our project wrap party, and they were fab to work with from start to finish. Super chill and accommodating of last minute requests and logistical changes. The food was delicious and fun, covered vegans and meat-eaters alike, and they gracefully catered for some unusual dietary requirements. We had estimated for more food than we needed and so they left all the leftover pies out at the end of the evening so our guests could take some home. Overall strong recommend!

Toby & his team catered for our wedding, providing canapes, a three course meal and toasties in the evening. The quality of the food was excellent and they were incredibly accommodating for attending guests who weren't able to eat food from the standard menu. Service was great throughout the day, and in the lead up the wedding they communicated clearly and promptly whenever we had any queries. We honestly can't imagine anything they could have done better.

We hired Toby and the Humble Pie company for our summer, farm wedding.

They provided us with our wedding breakfast of a main meal of pies, mash and peas with pudding which was absolutely delicious. Our guests were given a choice of 6 pies that we had chosen from their comprehensive list. This included vegan and vegetarian options. Guests loved getting to choose their own pie and were very excited to try them on the day and safe to say they were not disappointed. Who doesn't love a pie! They also provided canapes on arrival at the marquee and a BBQ and buffet for the evening food, all of the food throughout the day was outstanding. Presented really beautifully on rustic unique china plates too.
Worth mentioning here that this is what we chose from a whole list of options for the day and evening food, including starters etc.

On top of providing all of the food they also worked as our staff throughout the day. We had a marquee wedding on a family farm so having people there to do all of the little odd jobs here and there was essential. Some of the other jobs they included: manning the bar throughout the day (they provided all of the alcohol to stock it too), serving welcome drinks which we had bought, keeping tables topped up with wine and water which we had also bought, turning on music for our arrival at our request, switching on fairy lights as the evening went on.
Any little thing that I would remember needed to be done on the day I could ask of Toby and the team and they were more than happy to oblige, it took the responsibility of these kinds of things away from family and friends and for that I am super grateful.

They left a clear and clean space upon leaving.
All of the staff were lovely and are clearly used to working together as a team.

Would recommend a thousand times over!

In fact, we're already trying to think of another event when we can use them again!!

Toby and his team catered and ran the bar service for our wedding in early June for about 90 guests.

Right from the off, Toby was so friendly and willing to go above and beyond. He completed quite a long round trip just to visit/ recce the venue beforehand. Toby was very helpful and responsive to questions we had in the lead-up. He offered for us to just leave him any instructions for the morning on the day of the wedding if we needed help setting anything up like games etc. Toby was also so flexible and understanding of the various postponements we had (2 postpones due to Covid), which was enormously appreciated during a difficult time.

On the day, the canapes, pies and bar service were all just brilliant. Toby and his team were fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Humble Pie catered for our wedding - a large 150 guest event at Forty Hall in North London.

From the start, we were blown away both by the quality of the food - the best pies we sampled by far - and also how friendly and helpful Toby was in the run up to the event.

Toby's team on the night were also super friendly and our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their service at the bar.

We hosted a lunch for about 50 people at our house the day after our daughter’s wedding. Toby and Alex seamlessly got on with the cooking under their gazebo, we barely knew they were there and suddenly all the food was ready. The food quality and service was excellent-everyone loved it and wanted to know about the pies! It was a very stress-free experience all the way through from making the initial booking to the day itself.
I’d highly recommend them.
