I want to CAUTION anyone who is…
I want to caution anyone who is hesitant about ordering from this place to not rush into it!!!

BEWARE! You may end up without your order and without your money. I placed an order on April 11th for 400 euros+, but it still has not been delivered as of May 23rd. They have been giving me the runaround, asking me to wait for a refund twice, but they have not refunded my money!
It seems like this company named theHUT, has stolen my funds and I have been trying to get it back for months. Avoid purchasing from thehut.com or their parent companies. I am initiating a claim with PayPal and will pursue a chargeback through my bank if necessary.

FIXED // Cancelled order, now stranded

UPDATE: after the complaint and review, customer serviced came back to me and somewhat fixed the problem. This deserves an update of the star to 3☆ from 1☆.

Original review: The store announced availability of an item and accepted the order, only to then a day later cancel the order claiming lack of stock. This is unacceptable as there is now no time for me to find an alternative that will arrive in time. The Hut was actually more expensive than alternatives, and I chose it because it claimed it could deliver faster.

Clearly, if they cannot run their business, they should go out of business.

Waiting already for 2 months for item

Waiting already for almost 2 months for my order. Customer Service is just sending standard Canned Responses. I could have ordered the item already somewhere else slightly more expensive, but now that offer is gone and I am still waiting for it from theHut.
Horrible Customer Experience!
And when I read what others write about delivery cost, I am already getting anxious I might get charged way more without warning.

I was very disappointed that on the website it says free delivery for orders above 50 Euro. However, I was still charged for express delivery. There was no option for standard delivery. I kindly ask you remove the delivery fee from my order.

Product ordered successfully no longer available!

I wanted to reply to the below customer support message but the function doesn’t exist: Thanks for your prompt support on my issue! I received the shoes and you fixed the miscommunication happened in this regards in a very fast and professional way! Great Shoes! Style and quality are as expected.

Issue was: as i placed the order, the product was available and the order was processed successfully. There was a small payment complication reported by thehut after the order was placed successfully and i changed the payment method immediately and proceeded.
I wanted to check if the reflection is in place and when will the product get delivered so i contacted thehut. After 24 hours of contacting the customer service team (they answered fast) they informed me that the product is no longer available. such a technical issue caused this bad feedback.

Service System is not working

I reached out to the service team because i wanted to send back my order.

First they sent me the regular etikett, which I couldnt use because it was a present and the order was received in a different country then my homecountry. So they sent me another etikett with my right adress but I would have to send it to the UK although it came from a german adress. Which means I would have to pay for it. So again I sent them my adress and the correct adress to send it back to. The service team then answered that I should confirm that the order has not been used, opened and is in good condition.

Unfortunately TheHut only has a one-way-service-system so I couldnt confirm corretly which now means that all the time I had in order to send it back in the correct time frame has now passed and I cannot return it anymore.

Order did not arrive

Order did not arrive. After 3 weeks I was asked to wait another week. Still no package arrived. Now there is no more communication. They just stopped responding to my inquiry.
No refund up to now.

Order never arrived, you really have to Chase Customer Services

Simple Order : 6 Side Plates, in stock, invoiced/ paid in full. I plate arrived, when contacted, out of stock, put on special order, delivery date not known. Cancelled order, requested refund. 6 emails later, refund promised 3-5 days. 8 days later No refund, promised again! Waiting now.!!!
Very disappointed on the time , and effort you have to put in to get things sorted.
Not impressed with Service Level, will steer clear of this company in the future.
