The shop ignores their customers when sth goes wrong

After placing warranty claim the shop simply stopped answering my emails. not one, many emails. After calling them I heard some vague and mutually exclusive explanations- "parts are ordered and should be here on Friday" and then "we have no contact with supplier as it is holiday" on next call. Another few weeks later there is no answer from shop. Despite of being prompted they just ignore claims so keep that in mind when placing an order here. The store is a scam.

No bike and no refund!

Originally ordered a bike that was supposed to be available in 2 weeks. I received an email confirming dispatch with a tracking code. The code did not work and when I contacted e-bikes4you I was told the bike had not been sent and in fact would not be in stock for at least 6 months.
I was offered a refund which I accepted. The refund did not come through and I have been chasing for 6 weeks. In my latest email to them I informed them that I had called my bank who had confirmed that no refund had been made. e-bikes4you appear to have ignored the entire content of that email, as they have responded to say they are so happy that the refund was successful.

I have now had to file a claim with my bank to try to get my money back - nearly 4000 euros!

Edit to update: despite the response from the company below I have not received the credit memo they mentioned. I have also spoken to my bank and they have confirmed that no refund has been made by e-bikes4you.

Thank you for providing more information concerning your review via Trust Pilot.

Please find your credit memo in your emails, the refund was processed on July, 3rd and left our account on this date. It was refunded to your credit card and should really be with you at this stage, however sometimes credit card companies hold on to refunds for slightly longer than necessary. Submitting a claim with your credit card company should do the job and encourage them to release the money back to your card asap.

I understand how frustrated you must be and I’m very sorry for the delay, but unfortunately there is very little we can do to influence your credit card supplier.

If you got a message that we processed your refund, that should be the case. Please be aware that we have to refund your money the same way you paid initially (this is an anti-money laundering regulation, that all online retailers have to adhere to). So if you paid via Paypal, this is where you will find your refund, if you used AmazonPay, please check there.

Took about 3 weeks for tha T.E.C cable…

Took about 3 weeks for tha T.E.C cable to arrive, but well packaged and for now working well.
The cable itself is very stiff wich in time will probably lead to failure..for a 65€ a piece it could be made more flexible.

Bad communication

I ordered a bike in early August 2022. It is now June and I am still waiting for its delivery. Emails and a (registered) letter are not responded to. I have contacted the shop several times by phone, but I get a vague response. Rarely experienced such a bad webshop.

the bike was completely assembled, the tubeless tyres were already pre-filled with sealant. Exceptional price compared to prices in the Czech Republic. Fast delivery time.

DISORGANIZED, SLOW SERVICE

I purchased a bike, the website was promising to deliver it in 15 days. The actual delivery took 5 weeks. Throughout this time, I received no proactive information from the company informing about or explaining the delay. I needed to follow up multiple times and always received the "next week" response. At the end the order arrived, but only half of it. I needed to follow up again twice to get any reply when the rest of the order would be shipped. Nice products, but disorganized and seemingly careless service, one can do better to shopping elsewhere.

i am genuinely sorry that your order took so long, we had a bit of logistical trouble getting your bike from the manufacturer, but we should have kept you up to date more proactively and I'm very sorry you felt left in the dark. Unfortunately we were very dependent on the manufacturer in getting information ourselves and for a while there was very little to pass on to you. We should have kept you in the loop though, so I am very sorry for that.

No email answers and only broken promises on phone

Never had such bad experience before with an online shop. I ordered an Ebike for 6000Eur on the 30th of November. I did not receive a confirmation per email so I called them. The guy on the phone confirmed and sent email as well. So far so good. But I told the guy that I cannot decide between S4 or S5 size so please wait with the dispatch until Monday so I can try out some locally.
I even called on Saturday to confirm I will call on Monday with my size decision, and to confirm that they can wait. They confirmed they can wait even until Wednesday and that they have stock!

So I call them on Monday to switch to the S4 size from S5 and send me a written confirmation about it as well. I was promised a confirmation the same day... Well that never came, wrote an email about it Monday evening. No answer! Called next day evening, where they promised a response again the same day in email where they confirm size change etc. Never came! Rinse and repeat the next day. Now 3 broken promises and counting....

So I try to cancel the order today, since my trust is gone and I do not want to loose all my hair in case I have to do guaranty service with them! Somehow they can reply to the cancellation email in a timely fashion, but not what you expect!

In the email they only state that "the bike is dispatched" 6! minutes before they go on an add hoc 2 days long Christmas Holidays in the middle of the week (no-one does that)! The best is that the attached tracking number is for a completely different product and person?! How can they mess up so many things in a row and lie to the customer so many times?
Now I don't know what is coming, whether it is coming, when it is coming and in what condition after all.
This would be minor annoyance if I was in Austria with 0 fees to send the thing back and not right before Christmas...

Attached for fun the wrong product they sent the confirmation about. Oh BTW on the site the thing is still not dispatched.

I'm really sorry so many things went wrong with your order! We've just switched to a new order management system and it works great for straighforward orders, but with slightly awkward orders like yours, there's still some challanges.

Since you cancelled your order we transferred the money back to your account and will not be sending you a bike. If you do still want us to dispatch the bike you'll unfortunately need to place a new order.
