Quality and finish exceptional
The customer service information throughout was brilliant. Dresser finally delivered and worth the wait. After driving miles to other dresser suppliers to check out the quality and taken a chance on reviews read from this company, really glad we decided to go with them. Brilliant quality, soft close draws and cupboards, hidden hinges and colour, Nordic Blue finish really good.
Thanks and would highly recommend
Top quality and great service
I just received a kitchen dresser from this company that I had ordered earlier in the year. It’s both beautiful and extremely well made. The company was diligent about keeping me informed about delivery dates, and have provided exceptional care post delivery. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
Excellent company
I have recently taken delivery of a dresser and sideboard from The KitchenDresser Company. The quality is excellent and I am delighted with the finish and the colour of the furniture.
I would also like to add, that I have received fantastic customer service throughout, keeping me updated about delivery times etc ( big thank you to Laura).
I would thoroughly recommend this company
Well made and great customer service
I have to say I’m really delighted with my painswick dresser in storm grey I received around a month ago now. Fantastic finish and very well made, it really does bring my dining room together.
Excellent service and would highly recommend the kitchen dresser company.
Delivery and poor customer relations
This review is primarily concerned with delivery and customer relations.
We ordered a 1 meter wide, Lucca dresser in August 21 paying in full at the time of ordering. The following sets out the key timeline:
• Dresser ordered and paid for on the 23rd August 2021
• The price paid - £1,850 with an expectation of high quality
• Estimated delivery at time of order - November 2021
• A £100 refund offered in March 22 (only after I’d requested some level of compensation)
• Actual delivery – 15th April 2022 (approx. 8 months since ordering and 5 months after expected delivery date).
Whilst we were kept informed of the ongoing “delays” throughout with emails being received approx. monthly, there was a glaring absence of apologies. It was only in the final delay email (20th March 22) that an apology appeared, and this was in the middle of the email rather than the first thing said.
In addition, no one ever answers their phone line and no one except the Directors gives an email signature indicating their role in the company (The individual who sent 90% of the emails may have been a front a of house administrator or a Logistics manager – I still have no idea).
Following receipt of the final delay email I sought to clarify the role of the person sending the emails on the basis that had they been an administrator I did not want did not want to express the extent of my frustration and anger at her, rather I wanted to ensure my views were conveyed to the two company directors. I also noted that given the circumstances I would have thought communication from one or other of them would have been appropriate.
Interestingly I got an email back from one of them within 30 mins. His response left me somewhat aghast – it showed a staggering level of arrogance and hubris.
Firstly, he challenged my claim that there had been no apologies prior to the final delay email saying “…we have apologised on every email sent out previously to all customers”. This is incorrect – I re-read all the emails we have received about our order and there are no apologies. There's lots of 'we appreciate your understanding etc ..' but no apologies.
Secondly, he suggested that “… this is wasted effort on all accounts” and “…not worth discussing at such a detailed level”
Finally, he tried to put me on the back foot by suggesting I was condescending to person sending the emails because had suggested they may have been an administrator, and then effectively said go away, there's nothing to see here and once you get your dresser, you'll so blown away by the quality all this will be history!!
Well frankly it’s not all history - the quality is ok but not great (gaps around cupboard doors different on left / right, kick board flush with frame in parts but not others), and it is very difficult to forget the appalling customer relations.
Interestingly I note a similar review by Selina B and a response from the company suggests to her that the relationship between us as customers and them as suppliers should be an equal relationship! This so misunderstands the supplier / customer relationship - it is not equal, especially if you have paid upfront as we did, the supplier is beholden to meet their obligations within the terms of their 'contractual' relationship.

Have had my lovely dresser for excellent customer services
Have had my lovely dresser for around 5 years and one of the hinges broke. I emailed the company to find out details of a replacement hinge and the lovely customer services advisor sent me a new one in the post without hesitation. This was at a cost to them. I can’t fault the after service and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality dresser. Thank you
Gorgeous dresser
Just took delivery of our new Bathwick dresser in nordic grey, it is a fantastic, really well made, solid piece of furniture I know will last a lifetime and become part of the family. Excellent quality and materials, gorgeous colour. Loads of storage space! We live on third floor and were worried about delivery but the guys were fantastic: cheerful, careful and positive.
Dresser is beautiful
Beautiful dresser. Had to wait for it for 6 months as opposed to 14 weeks and I was about to cancel the order out of sheer frustration as I didn't think it would actually ever turn up. But it did and it is beautiful, looks expensive (it was!) but I am finally really pleased. It would be useful if they published a more realistic leadtime.

Beautiful kitchen dresser
Beautiful kitchen dresser sits resplendent in the house. So glad I chose this company over the competition. Really amazing piece of furniture.

Excellent craftsmanship
Excellent craftsmanship - it looks beautiful in our home and exactly as we hoped for. Would definately recommend to anyone looking to purchase a high quality dresser.
Stunning dresser
Our Bellegra dresser arrived yesterday and we are absolutely delighted with it. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is excellent and it fits perfectly in our kitchen. The marble worktop, glass shelves and down lights finish it off perfectly. What a stunning piece of furniture. The colour (concrete) matches perfectly with the sample.
The delivery drivers were great too and our experience has been excellent throughout. Sooooo pleased we chose this dresser and thank you!!!!
Highly recommend this company.

Great Business and Beautiful Product
Absolutely Delighted with our new kitchen dresser, the quality is superb and has transformed our kitchen. Thank you so much !
As a small business owner myself I was angered by the comments of another reviewer and have to ask the question is she aware of what's been going on logistically for two years and how manufacturing has taken a beating making things exceptionally difficult.
I think she's been very unfair on this small UK family business in a particularly difficult time for all small businesses but no, she says she purchased on finance and so only outlaid £150 which was refunded by her own admission.
Seems like she's got her entitled head in the sand and oblivious to what's going on in the world.
Shame on her for slamming a hard-working small business producing beautiful furniture which she clearly couldn't afford anyway.
I can't speak highly enough of this company and highly recommend them in this world of cheap, flat-pack big businesses.
Their communication and actual product has been 'first class' unlike much bigger, faceless firms.
Keep going and ignore the negative nellies !
Very happy with my new dresser
Very happy with my new dresser, it looks amazing and is fabulous quality. Highly recommended!
Great product, good service
Great product. The information we received was regular and they kept us up to date about the delivery. Very happy with the dresser, looks amazing and great quality too. Would recommend.
We received our dresser on Wednesday…
We received our dresser on Wednesday and have to say we are seriously impressed with the quality. It exceeds what we anticipated and it will be much loved and well used in our 2nd kitchen. Many thanks
Delivery and lack of empathy
This rating is purely concerning delivery and customer relationship. I would strongly recommend you look at all the 5* reviews with a slightly raised eyebrow and a cynical view if you take the time to read my cautionary tale.
A number of years ago I was in Liberty in London and saw some examples of Kitchen dressers. I took a note of the supplier as I knew that at some point in the near future, I would be replacing a very old “hand me down” dresser and I sent off for colour samples and read the glowing reviews.
Due to work travel and COVID I did not get round to revamping my Kitchen until summer 2021. On the 6th August last year I placed orders for new table and chairs, a storage unit and a kitchen dresser. I used the finance option when ordering the dresser as I thought it would help spread the financial pain as I was spending a considerable amount of money. The Kitchen Dresser company had some information hidden in their delivery details at this point about possible delays due to COVID but stated they had two shifts working to make up time, so I was not too concerned and was not expecting delivery until end October / November. The other furniture all turned up mid-September with no excuses just excellent service.
I was sent an email on the 13th October saying my order was due for completion week commencing 22nd November and that couriers would contact me to arrange a delivery date. So far so good. But then on the 5th November I was told that it would now be January (unspecified date ). I complained and was told I could have a £150 refund. OK but the company had a sale on and the dresser I had ordered was now £100 less than in August so no real discount…… and the refund was not processed. On the 6th January I asked for an update and what about the refund (which was finally actioned). On the 12th January an email stating completion was expected the 2nd week in February. OK I had waited this long but starting to get very unhappy. 25th January – guess what ….. yes a further delay now not expecting completion in the final week of February. The email stated clearly “They will complete everything by then”. At this point I asked if because I had placed my order using the finance option, I was being treated differently but was told no all orders are made chronologically (I did not believe this). I said this had to be the last delay. On the 16th February I asked if everything was going to plan and the initial response was words to the effect of please go away until we contact you. I then pressed the point and was told by Laura that yes everything was going to schedule.
Then on Saturday 26th February …. yes you have guessed it yet another delay. Email received very similar to the one sent on 13th October stating completion should be the 3rd week in March and then the couriers would contact regarding delivery. Meaning delivery (if it actually happened) would be around the 33 to 35 weeks from placing the order. I gave up and cancelled as I had lost all confidence that there would not be further excuses and delays.
At no point has there been grovelling apologies or any form of empathy with the frustration and anger caused by constant delays with frankly unbelievable excuses. No explanation why I was treated in such an appalling way – was it because I placed the order using the finance option and if I cancelled, they did not have to refund large amounts of money? Perhaps they just did not like my name. Whatever it was I would like to warn you that as this happened to me, it could well happen to you. Think very carefully before placing an order because your order, like mine, may well never actually be delivered.

A beautiful item of furniture.
I was slightly nervous ordering a kitchen dresser online but we were sent painted colour cards when requested. The delivery time quoted was spot on and well worth waiting for such a quality piece of furniture. The final colour was exactly the same as the sample card and tones beautifully with our existing units. The unit is beautifully finished both inside and out. Drawers and doors close silently and we were also given a sample of paint should it get scratched.
The unit was delivered and assembled by a very professional company.
I have no hesitation in recommending The Kitchen Dresser company and the Delivery company they use.
