What an amazing day today!

What an amazing day today! The team were so welcoming on arrival, the host was friendly, knowledgeable and competent. There were 7 of us and they could not have been more helpful. Facilities were great, all food was quality, treatments were all lovely. Definitely value for money. Will be back!

Wonderful day at The Malvern Spa

My friend & I had a wonderful day at The Malvern Spa last Thursday. From the minute we arrived we were met with such friendliness. Our pool host Sarah was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble & we felt very pampered. The full body massage that I had from Natalia was perfect as was the beautiful facial from Charlotte. The food was lovely & our waitress extremely efficient & helpful. It’s our favourite Spa & are looking forward to going back.

Absolutely a waste of money to…

Absolutely a waste of money to experience a 23 degrees swimming pool which is supposed to be 30 degrees plus , spent most of our time cold in the pool so had to get out and when you complain to staff and then management your told to basically keep quite and carry on evem though they were receiving multiples complaints in which they just deny and tell you there is no problem even though most of there residents and members are or have complained about the same problem when pushing the matter further as I’m asking to speak to management we were asked to leave as they didn’t like my attitude , it’s like your not allowed to complain otherwise yiu have a team of people surrounding you until you back down and if you Dnt back down your asked to leave , we got a full refund which tells you everything and we went on our way home to be laughed at on the way out by the 2 female managers , absolutely disgusting behaviour by the soa staff and most definitely wil not be returning for our 5th visit as we have been multiple times and know what expectations and experience should be had and it just wasn’t like that this time which is fine but atleast let your visitors express there views , Malvern are now catering for new custermers as there current clientele knows the experience and they are just not getting it anymore which is unfortunate, certainly wnt be returning until it’s back to how it used to be amd management have been replaced

Our hydrotherapy pool is carefully maintained at approximately 33°C and was checked routinely on the day.

While we always aim to address concerns during a visit, the manner in which these were expressed on this occasion was not acceptable. Our team were subjected to inappropriate language and threatening behaviour that we do not tolerate within our spa environment.

As a result, your visit was brought to an early close. A full refund was issued at the time, which exceeded what was warranted under the circumstances.

We take great pride in both our facilities and our team, and we remain committed to providing a calm, respectful and safe environment for all guests. We stand fully behind our staff and the manner in which this situation was handled.

Lovely but could so easily be better

We imagined this spa hotel to be in the middle of the countryside so were surprised to find it at the start of a business park next to a large retail and supermarket complex. Once inside though the hotel is very nice and the spa is lovely- light-filled with indoor/outdoor pool and sun beds. The best thing about this hotel is the staff- friendly, polite, smiling, efficient and attentive. Also the food is very good- they have an excellent chef. It could be so much better though so easily- we stayed 3 nights and every evening the restaurant was cold and we had to ask for the heating to be turned up. Also you don’t get towels at the spa but have to go to reception through the security gate to ask for them- why? At breakfast you don’t get mugs for tea/coffee but smaller cups but no saucer for them- so constant top ups and nowhere to put your teaspoon! Could so easily be remedied. The rooms are very nice but a few easily remedied issues. We had to ask for a fridge- at this price point I’d expect one in the room. Why do hotel owners in the UK think an item costing £100 and lasting 20 years is somehow a luxury item? No luxury biscuits provided- just the biscotti cheap ones you get everywhere. Loads of towels but our towel rail didn’t heat so they didn’t dry. Towelling robes provided but nowhere to hang them so they’d dry- extra hooks on one wall would have solved this. No drawers to put your socks etc in. Useless solid cube bed tables with no shelf or drawers to put all your stuff in. These days it would be nice to have a superior TV where you can cast your Netflix account onto instead of just a basic TV. These annoying smaller issues could so easily be remedied and would have made so much difference to our stay turning it from a 4 star experience into a 5 star experience.

Brilliant as always

Brilliant as always. My daughter and I visit twice a year on our birthdays and we're never disappointed.
Amazing staff - nothing is too much trouble. The massages are sensational and the whole experience keeps us going back. Just loved our visit today

Excellent

My daughter and I booked to stay for two nights following a horrible bereavement last year. We booked last minute without any treatments. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly receptionist who booked us spa treatments (full body massage, Indian head massage and an express manicure). Our room were comfortable and clean, the facilities were excellent and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. All of our treatments were first class, and my therapist managed to get some very stubborn knots out of my shoulders! Food in the restaurant was tasty, fresh and well presented. My only minor niggle is that some of the towels in the spa treatment room smelt quite mildewed as of they hadn’t been washed in a hot enough wash. Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you!

Overnight stay

We recently had an overnight stay at our favourite Spa. There were unfortunately, a few negative things on this particular stay over.
Our room was cold on arrival, we tried to sort the heating out but couldn't fathom out the controls, I phoned reception and they said heatings on a timer but unfortunately the towel rail didn't come on at all.
In the spa reception are 2 ladies toilets which smelt of urine, when I lifted the toilet lids they were stained a horrible yellow, which can only be old urine!
One last negative was our massages we had, again the rooms were unfortunately cold making it hard to relax. I had Millie for my massage which was mainly good except she kept catching me with her nails.

We had stayed here back in May but things have changed!

We had stayed here back in May 2025 and found it to be a nice place.
September marked our 23rd wedding anniversary and so thought we would book a night away.
Kids were on a camp so all good! 😊

Luckily, I called before arriving / setting off, as I was told that if a treatment had been booked you could use facilities from 12:00 and not the later time of 15:00.
Although the lady I spoke to said this is not correct, she agreed to is and so we set out.
Arriving just gone 12pm, we left our bags behind reception and used the spa facilities.
Most of it working apart from the bubbles to the right as you go outside.
The salt room I think is a bit of a joke as there is no salt in the water.
Basically, you are sitting in a dark cold wet room!
The bowls for the salt bath seem to leak so you only get a few minutes before it’s all drained away.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Food
Really don’t bother on this one.
We had a table booked for 20:30. We didn’t get to sit down till gone 21:00.
They did apologies but still not great.
My wife had the pork and when she cut into it, there was a lot of pink.
When we spoke to the waiter he said about it being OK and that it had been checked etc.
Regardless of this, she left and did not eat it.
My meal was the butterflied chicken and chips. It was cooked and the chips were nice.
There was some rocket salad with it that had seen better days, but it was ok. Not worth £16, however.
Deserts were good and well presented. (and fully cooked 😊).

Rooms
These are starting to look very tired now.
Sink did not drain well and filled just after cleaning teeth.
Shower took a long time to stop dripping once used.
Tiles cracked.
Mould in corners.
Cables left long for the radiator which could be a trip hazard.
Almost out of the shampoo and bath soaps.
Door did not close easily as it had water damage.
Bed was comfortable but the topper they use are smaller than the bed so not great.
One of the lights flickered and was annoying so just used side lights.
Side tables need replacing as they have been damaged by water.
Curtain had some unpleasant marks on which should be cleaned.
Carpet had not been cleaned recently and hair from other guests present.

I loved it the first time we went, but a few months on and a different room has changed my mind.

I’ll not be using this place again which is a shame.

Upon arrival

Upon arrival, have to admit I was fearing the worst due to its location, and to be honest the building look from the outside, but definitely don't judge a book by its cover. The facilities were fantastic and the staff were the happiest, and most helpful I have had from any service industry I have had in years. Welcoming smiles and a WANT to help you attitude went throughout our entire experience. Would 120% go back here. Great job, and thank you all.

I would like to personalise this review to Ollie. His customer service was outstanding. I have a severe food allergy, and he was very thorough and put me at ease.

18th Birthday at the Malvern

The Malvern Spa was an incredible experience. My aunty took me for an overnight stay for my 18th birthday.

The staff here are amazing. Everybody from Receptionist’s and Spa Therapist’s to Waiters/Waitresses and Cleaning Staff, were so welcoming, kind, interested in our days and our lives, AND went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

I was offered multiple free cocktails as a gift for my 18th, and when our Pedicures were booked after our checkout time, we were given an extra hour to use the spa facilities (which are really nice and super fun)!

I can’t write an honest review without talking about the food. The service here is amazing. Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and honestly, excited that we were there!

Shoutout to Bella who was so sweet!

(I highly recommend the linguine with the halloumi, I cannot get over the flavours XD!!)

The only reason I’m not giving them 5* is because the massage that I booked on the 2nd day was scheduled for the day I arrived, and I wasn’t even at the facility so I was unable to have the treatment I’d been looking forward to all month!

Wow!!!!!

Wow – what a fantastic spa hotel!
I recently visited with my mum as a birthday treat, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the warm and efficient staff. A special shoutout to Nickie, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect – she was incredibly helpful throughout.

The spa facilities are exceptional – calming, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to unwind. We had treatments by Daisy and Erenia, and they were absolutely fabulous! So professional and attentive – we left feeling completely pampered.

The hotel itself is spotless, stylish, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. We also loved the cocktails (absolutely delicious!) and were really impressed with the quality of the food.

I’ll definitely be coming back soon – next time with friends for another indulgent escape. Highly recommend!

Loss Of £300 For Having COVID

Absolutely disgusting, we brought I double package costing £300, unfortunately I caught Covid and as I am a asthma sufferer this totally knocked me off my feet, I called to inform the Spa of my situation, it was agreed that my day would be moved which I fully appreciated the flexibility as they were concerned about their staff as both me and my partner were having facials, two days later my partner caught Covid which resulted him in being admitted into hospital, I called the spa to inform them again of the situation but their policy are totally change from three days prior saying that it was fine for two people to attend the spa both with Covid and had no impact on customers members or staff, l explained that this was a genuine reason for cancellation but was told that I was unable to rearrange my booking, I asked to speak to a manager and was told that l'd get a call back on Monday. l've chased it again today to be told that a manager would call me back, duty manager Mia kindly informed me that I have lost my booking.

Really friendly customer focused service

Stayed at the spa last weekend as part of a group of 6. The facilities were nice, quite small but very clean and food was above expectations but what made it memorable was the people. The service was exceptional and one of the friendliest spas we've been to. We'll definitely return and book a pod.

Lovely short break

Just had a lovely one night stay at The Malvern. Don’t usually do reviews but felt that we would after such a wonderful stay.
We had a very friendly welcome and tour around the facilities by Oliver who was fantastic.
The pools and saunas are so relaxing, the room was perfect and our breakfast was first class! I could continue!!!
Would definitely recommend. 😊

Unfriendly & Unwelcoming

I used to be a full member of the Spa. I rang them up yesterday to make a beauty appt. The person whom I spoke to was in no way friendly & welcoming, talking in clipped voice with yes & no. Whoever that was needs some serious retraining, AGAINST my better judgement with what I was met with down the phone an appt. has been made. I hope to god the treatment I receive is better than the lack of welcome was! I do know a good beautician & treatment when I get one! NOTE:- YOU HAVE TO PAY ON BOOKING!
