My company is LOKSAK

My company is LOKSAK, Inc. We are a manufacturer of patented goods. Nomadik has ripped LOKSAK of $4,600 by sending three names to check their credit references. All bogus. My new salesperson gave them net 30. I would have never sold to them on credit because I do a better job on making sure they are credible with good reviews. They refuse to pay LOKSAK as they said they are having issues. I have told them I am turning this over to my attorney now that I see they are scammers.

Pat Hines is selling stolen goods that he never paid us for (his vendor) and owes us over $20,000. He convinced us to take down our previous review and said he would sell his company and pay his debts, but after months of stringing us along, he doesn’t pay or even reply when we reach out. This company is operating off stolen items, fraud, and huge debts (to other people besides just us). We are extremely upset at how this situation has been handled. He says he’s trying to sell the company, but how could anyone buy The Nomadik after all these lies and theft. Please beware of working with Nomadik and their owner, Pat Hines.

waste of money

First order shipped almost half a month after their "guaranteed" ship date. Second order was the worst box I've ever received of any subscription box for the money spent. I got a $40 lantern and a $25 Gerber knife plus some cheap bamboo utensils. The quarterly box is always advertised as a big bundle. This box wasn't advertised at all and looks like a hodge podge of old stuff they just threw together and labeled it a quarterly box. I am already working with my credit card company on a charge back so i can send this crap box back.

Sorry you feel this way and we appreciate the feedback! Did you get the Bookman Monocle Headlamp? There was 7 products in the box totaling $220-$230 retail value. We are constantly testing new themes and product curation approaches so we value each and every customers feedback to improve the service.

Read all the fine print!!!!

I placed an order and then cancelled within a few days and weeks before the ship date.

I am being forced to take the items and pay them. You can only cancel after you take at least 1 order. Never heard of such terms, but my fault for not reading.

They are sneaky on what they show in bold print and what hey show in small print.

Completely dishonest company

Completely dishonest company, wish I would have checked here before purchasing my first box from them. They advertise everywhere and even have replied to people on their social media channels that first-time customers receive exactly the items advertised in the box they select. I have collected so many screen shots of this, so there's not really any arguing that they aren't falsely advertising. I have screen shots of them saying to people "we show [first time customers] exactly what they will get." Well, my first box arrived and that was not the case. Mistakes happen though, I thought ok looks like I just received the wrong box, and one that was meant for established subscribers. Tried to resolve this with customer service, and the only option they gave me was to return the box at my expense! Why would I pay for a mistake that was not my fault? I asked for a better resolution and was ghosted by Rhea, the rep I was communicating with. Tried to resolve this with my credit card company and the Nomadik lied and misrepresented expectations to my cc company. I recently commented a warning on their Instagram where they are still claiming first time customers get to pick their exact box, and they commented back and asked me to message them about this. I did, and they told me to email them about it. I did so again, and let them know I'd been ghosted before, but have not received a reply. They don't seem to have any willingness to try and make this right. I will be reporting them to the BBB as well as the California Attorney General, and encourage everyone else who's been scammed by them to do the same.

Stay FAR AWAY from this Nomadik and Pat Hines

One of the most frustrating experiences for a small business is when a client doesn't pay for your products or services. Nomadik is one of the most dishonest, untrustworthy companies I have ever encountered. My company went above and beyond to help deliver our product over the holidays last year for a last-minute box, and we still need to be paid. If they are not paying for the products they offer their customers, one can only imagine how poor their customer experience and service must be. STAY AWAY from this company. Pat Hines (CEO) is a well-known thief in the industry. Unfortunately for our company, we fell for it and are now out of thousands of dollars. To make matters worse, we now have to pay substantial legal fees to recoup the money owed to us, a significant financial burden. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

ZERO stars is what they deserve

ZERO stars is what they deserve. Stay away at all costs! I can't stress it enough. You will regret the day you sign up. They will trap you in. No reminders of a renew. And even if you contact them the second the charge goes through they will refuse to give you a refund and you'll be trapped in for the 6 or 12 month renewal. This company needs to be out of business. READ THE REAL REVIEWS. NOT THE ONES THEY POST IN THEIR WEBSITE.

Awful business practices - AVOID

Awful business practices, will not cancel or refund my shipment even with 20 days notice. AVOID THIS COMPANY AND JUST GO BUY THE PRODUCTS THEY ADVERTISE IF YOU WANT THEM, IT WILL LIKELY BE QUICKER AND CHEAPER.

Terrible company

Terrible company, avoid at all costs! I placed an order on December 15th, with the promise of delivery before Christmas per their website. I just received the order today, January 3rd. Additionally, they charged me for another two subscription boxes on January 1st, and when I emailed them to cancel the order, they told me there was nothing they can do. Very scammy, and they run through Shopify. I will be reaching out to them as well.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. Will not give info on how to return a product that I didn’t order. They sent something else and are ignoring me. I am trying to cancel a subscription I didn’t purchase. Only shop with them if you want to be scammed!

Worst customer service. Okay gear.

Experienced a similar story to other reviewers. Purchased a year-long subscription for my brother and his wife as a wedding gift. We are all big outdoorsy people and love hiking, camping, etc. The gear was okay. Not premium, and nothing you couldn't get for cheaper at another retailer. The big problem is the auto-renewal. After the first year, my subscription was auto-renewed with no warning at a significant increase (from about $300 to almost $600). I emailed the company and asked about a cancellation and a refund. They replied and cancelled my subscription, but did not address the refund and said I would continue to receive shipments for another calendar year. I responded asking that those shipments be cancelled and, at a minimum, the excessive additional cost be refunded. They never responded, despite several more followup emails. Not worth the time, money, or hassle -- especially if they don't even have the decency to reply.

Cheap junk

Cheap junk. Nothing like what's in the ads and nothing premiere. Don't subscribe, it's garbage - high dollar garbage and not worth the cost of the box subscription.

They double charged me for a subscriuption box and never sent me the box. These people will rip you off! Do not use their service! It sounds like a great idea, and my wife and I were looking forward to receiving the boxes, but the company is a scam!

Didn't deliver my order and kept my $

I ordered my first box and then didn't hear anything for a few weeks, so I canceled my subscription, knowing I was already past the deadline for the first box but not wanting to get stuck continuing with subsequent boxes from a company with poor communication practices. Lo and behold, my first box did not even arrive--though I have paid for it. They have my $$; I have nothing. My tracking information "disappeared" after weeks of showing that it had been shipped out. Look at reviews on mysubscriptionaddiction--a lot of folks sharing that they had issues with Nomadik. Add me to the list, I guess. Like was this on purpose? Retaliation for canceling?

Not a good value and you'll be stuck

Refuses to cancel my subscription and won't respond to customer service emails, which is the ONLY way you can contact them. They didn't send any of the "premiere" products in the "premium quarterly box" they advertised. I complained after the first box arrived about what was sent and how it didn't have what they said it would. Customer service responded with "Sorry about that, It'll all be in the next box". Box 2 came, none of it was there either. Sent an email to customer service, no response. Waited a few days and sent another. Again, no response. Waited a week and tried again. No response. Decided then to get out of an obvious losing situation and sent multiple emails on consecutive days requesting cancellation of my subscription, return and refund. Still no response. It's been over a month now and I haven't heard back from them.
In the end, I ended up with two boxes of junk. If you still choose to sign up, manage your expectations. You won't get the cool stuff from the website. You'll get little trinket camping stuff and low value products usually sold in the checkout lanes of your local sporting goods store. Stuff they sell in the plastic bins or the clearance buckets. They hooked me with advertising a Rumpl Blanket in the first box ($150 value) and sent a Rumpl hand towel instead (maybe $35?) and then a Solo stove mini for box 2, but sent a waterproof phone pouch and bag instead. It's a bait and switch scheme. Your quarterly subscription will come at the "lesson learned" price of at least $150 (for me it was two boxes, over $300). Pro tip, don't use a card or account you're fond of for payment, you'll be canceling it to stop the company from continuing to charge you.
Definitely not the value they advertise, or even in the ballpark of it. To be fair, some of the stuff was cool, but they "guarantee" at least a $200 value for each box. Not even close. You'll spend $150 for about $100 worth of stuff you likely won't want.
I regret the day I signed up. Listen to all the reviews, stay away, there are more reputable subscription box companies.

Useful Name Brand Outdoor Gear.

Every box has a good mix of useful outdoor and camping items. Actual name brand items in every box with a seasonal theme, discount codes for future purchases. I like that every box has items I will use and many items have a permanent place in my pack.
